Fitbit being too generous?
My fitbit is synched with this site and I seem to be gaining since following the extra calories it gives me (not the exercise ones...just the general day to day steps) anyone else have this issue? I'm thinking of not synching it and only logging what I get for calorie burn during exercise to see if it makes a difference.

Grain Free and Dairy Free
Hello all! I'm on a grain free AND Dairy free diet...not just for losing weight, it's also for health reasons. It's only been a week and I feel so much better and dropped 2.5 pounds (can't complain!) Anyone on something similar? What are your favorite recipes? I have been eating lots of good fats. They keep me nice and…

Candida or Paleo meal suggestions
Oh boy: my hippie doctor thinks my long term issue has been Candida which is basically a fancy term for: bad bacteria overpowering the good. In order to get rid of it, here is my torture for the next 1 to 3 months: *3 probiotic pills a day *No sugar *no complex carbs *No fruits (they have sugar and that feeds the candida)…

Does anyone else work their *kitten* off and still can't burn many calories?
I'm 119 pounds (4' 10") . I'll go on the elliptical for 45 minutes and I'll be lucky to reach 200 calories. I wear a heart rate monitor and it's pretty accurate. It sucks because I burn calories to eat more. LOL Anyone else in the same boat? I'm assuming it's because the more weight you lose and the more fit you become,…

New user. what calories should I trust?
rding to my fitbit, I have 120 calories left to eat but myfitnesspal says 320. ummm...which one do I go with? lol I have been logging my activity into fitbit and my food into myfitnesspal. I know it's synching. I can see it in both. Why radically different numbers?

Another fitbit question...calories

So I scored a fitbit on ebay for a good deal. now...
Should I just rely on what fitbit tracks for exercise and activity? or do I enter something specific still in myfitnesspal? For example, I went to zumba earlier today and tracked it in my fitbit. Is that enough? How accurate is this. I'm curious to hear from other users on the failures and successes. Thanks in advance Jess

Simple question: how do I maintain my weight?
Sounds silly since I have only been a member on here for two days but I started off with weight watchers and switched here. I have lost 20 pounds so far and I'm almost near goal soooo my questions are: Has anyone reached their goal weight? how do you maintain on here? is there a setting?

Former Weight Watchers trying this
I'm trying to save some money by not paying weight watchers a monthly fee. Got myself a FitBit (it will eventually pay itself back) and I'm trying this. I hope I'm not making a mistake. I lost 25 pounds on WW so far but my wallet needs a break. Has anyone else switched from WW to myfitnesspal?

Cups, tablespoons, etc. Question:
So I just came from weight watchers so forgive me but I'm already getting frustrated with how I can enter food. For example. Let's say I need to log in a chicken breast at 3 oz. It only gives me an option to enter a serving at 4oz. Is there a way I can adjust the portions? Also this morning, I had a 1/4 cup of blueberries…
