Hello all!

I'm on a grain free AND Dairy free diet...not just for losing weight, it's also for health reasons. It's only been a week and I feel so much better and dropped 2.5 pounds (can't complain!)

Anyone on something similar? What are your favorite recipes? I have been eating lots of good fats. They keep me nice and full.

I eat grain free because of LC and I've cut way back on dairy, though I haven't cut it completely. My diet consists of a lot of meat, veggies, and things like coconut oil. I usually do a BPC and some bacon in the morning, lunch is either leftover meat and cooked veggies or a salad with meat or boiled egg, and dinner is whatever meat we're having and a veggie. I take boiled eggs to work in case of the need to snack. I really like turkey ham from Aldi cooked with radishes and brussell sprouts or red cabbage.

I was mostly grain free and dairy free for a year or so after getting a celiac diagnosis. I was able to reintroduce dairy, but it needs to be lactose free, or very close to it.

Meat, veggies, eggs, nuts, seafood, and fruit leave a LOT of options open to you. If you are looking for plate fillers, and can tolerate some grains, then rice, corn, GF pasta options and potatoes can add calories to a meal.

I now eat LCHF too, and find meals of meat/seafood, eggs and veggies are very satisfying.

    Good luck.

I eat grain and dairy free. It's easiest to look up Paleo recipes, and add legumes and beans if you want (most paleo recipes don't include them).
