Understanding Nutrition Macros
Do any of you understand the nutrition macros? I'm a bit confused. I've logged 46g carbohydrates, 8g fat and 12g protein which means I've eaten more protein than fat however my percentages are calculated as 60% carbohydrates, 24% fat and 16% protein. Which has given my fat content higher than protein. Please explain...

Holiday tricks to maintaining or even losing weight
I'm going on holiday on Wednesday but as usual I dread the holiday lbs. Thinking of taking my scales with me to help with motivation, though it seems a little extreme to carry them across the Atlantic. Does anybody else have any tricks for making sure you stay on carlorific target while eating at restaurants and away on…

Weights - Lean not muscle
I'm wanting to slim down and I've always been on the chunky side. I've found myself two gym buddies which is really good for motivation however they are both blokes. All three of us are currently doing the same exercises though I'm doing a little more cardio. However we use the same weight machines. I use lower weights but…

I'm really struggling and a little disapointed with the syncing between MFP And Withings. I just purchased a Withings Pulse which seems to be working fine however.... Why does the caloie limit reduce as your loose weight... surely I don't use any less calories to breath in and out... I'm still trying to loose weight at the same rate. My husband is skeptical about me eating only 1350 calories a day when I first started using MFP I was on 1470. I'm trying to loose 1.5 lbs a week…

Confusion with Target Carbs, Fat, Sugar and Protein
Please can somebody advise me about how to use the carbs, fat, sugar and protein goals that are automatically calculated by MFP. Today I was over under on calories but over in carbs, sugar and protein and under in fat... Isn't that a good thing? Would it have been better if I'd eaten less carbs and eaten more fat? How…
