Do any of you understand the nutrition macros? I'm a bit confused. I've logged 46g carbohydrates, 8g fat and 12g protein which means I've eaten more protein than fat however my percentages are calculated as 60% carbohydrates, 24% fat and 16% protein. Which has given my fat content higher than protein. Please explain...

the percentage is based on your daily goal of macros - so your 8g of fat is 24% of your daily goal of fat (IIRC)0

Fat has 9 calories per gram. Protein & carbs have 4. Your % is based on calories, not grams.0

24% of your calories have come from fat, as it's more than double the calories of carbs/protein1
