This weekend I'm going to a family function, I won't be able to control what I eat for the whole weekend, and as most of it will be homemade food, I can't estimate how many calories I'm eating. In addition on Saturday we will be having a buffet, does anybody out there have any tricks for keeping off the pounds when eating at a buffet? Help!!! I don't want to just write it off as a bad weekend, because I have three weekends in a row like this. :frown:

Sorry but you are lying to yourself if you think you have no control what you eat. You ALWAYS have the decision to make good choices and its completely in your control. Its up to you to make the right choices and decisions, family or not.

If you are going to a buffet, there are no tricks... you know what is considered healthy and what isnt.

Instead of focusing on the negative and already throwing in the towel, focus on what you CAN do, CAN have, CAN decide.... its called self-empowerment.....
