HamNCheese: 1362 cal in 6 min 35 sec
Here's my try. I'd like special consideration for a 40 and over category. This is definitely a younger person's game. Had 2 green tea pulled pork wraps with sriracha guacamole and a Jif mocha cappuccino hazelnut spread with bananas sandwich. Here are the stats. (MFP was not letting me add potassium or make any changes to…

Fantasy Basketball
I know we're only starting week 3 of football, but anyone here play fantasy hoops? I'm a moderator at the Fantasy Basketball Cafe Forums and we have an annual league that needs some more managers called the FBC Octagon. It's actually 3 leagues, with 2 First Division Leagues (one h2h, and one roto) and a Champions League.…

Training and heat
So I've started back at running in April after, oh, an 18 year lay off. As a goal, I'm preparing for the Disney Wine and Dine Half in November. It'll be my first half in 19 years. I live in Florida, but the last couple of weeks I was out visiting family in California, and was having good runs and run times. I ran 9 miles a…

JetLev - I want one
My son was wondering if there will actually be jet packs, and I was saying there are jet packs, just not practical. So I went to youtube to find some video and found this. http://youtu.be/im1iNq02Kz0 It looks awesome, but they cost around $100K. Go to www.jetlev.com to play their promo vid and it breaks down some of the…

Run for Your Lives 11/17
I somehow missed that they added a Run for Your Lives Zombie run to Florida but I just noticed it. It's in Clermont (Central Florida). Zombie registration is already full. Though I don't get why they charge $20+ for spectators. That seems like a lot. For more info, http://runforyourlives.com/orlando-overview/.

Monster Bash Dash - Kissimmee 5/26
Since no Run For Your Lives zombie run is scheduled for Florida, here's an alternative for Central Florida. This is a locally produced 5k that's very similar. Go to http://www.rockonadventures.com/ for details. Here's an excerpt of the description from the website: The Monster Bash Dash is a very unique race here in…

Progress - completed P90X
Though my overall journey to lose weight and get fit is in progress, I did complete P90X which was something I did not think I would have done 6 months ago. Here's the before and after. I started on July 4. I am 5'9" and 44 years old. My before weight was 198 lb and after weight is 177 lb. One reason why I didn't think I…

How do you record your marinades?
So I marinated my chicken breasts this morning in yogurt/garlic/ginger/lemon juice/olive oil/spices to grill for dinner and am wondering how I should go about recording the calories and such from the marinade or should I not bother. What do you do for marinades?

Exercise calories question
I may be overthinking this, but suppose for maintainence I need 2400 cal/day, which means on average my body burns 100 cal/hr. I then exercise for 1 hour and burn off 750 calories according to my HRM. Should I subtract off the average 100 cal/hr, and record my exercise calories to be 650 calories?

Chocolate syrup
I really like chocolate milk and I used to use Hershey's Special Dark syrup to make mine, but it's top ingredient is high fructose corn syrup and I'm not keen on artificial sweeteners so I made a homemade syrup using stevia. It's definitely more of a "dark chocolate" syrup but for me that's great, since I love dark…
