Recovery is possible!
I have recovered from depression, PTSD, and a full mental breakdown. I am now a a Peer Support Specialist helping others find their recovery. I used EMDR therapy as part of my recovery. I was not allowed to be hungry ever. Even the slightest hunger pains that told me to make lunch created the same hormone my EMDR therapy…

Flavored waters
Dress up your water a little with fresh fruits, herbs and spices! We keep a pitcher in our fridge all the time, and we change up what's in it depending on what is in season or what we're in the mood for. To make these "recipes", fill a pitcher with water, add the ingredients, and steep together in the refrigerator for a…

Or introduce yourself so we can know a little about each other. It's always more fun to know the person you are sharing a recipe with. Otherwise we…

Dumplings
This is a very verastile recipe. This is the most common version I use but it works very well using water instead of milk which obviously lowers the calories. I use "Egg Beaters" which is basically just egg whites made to look like whisked whole eggs so it is lower in calories too compared to whole eggs. When I don't have…

Batter Bowl Bread
This is the easiest and best bread I've ever made - no kneading required!. It works well even if you are not exact with the measurements. Modifies easily so feel free to add your favorite herbs or cheese. Or go wild and replace some of the water with champagne, add some garlic, rosemary, and fresh cracked pepper. The…

Compare taste and texture of shiritaki noodles
I tried the shiritaki noodles with tofu. They were wonderful without a fishy smell. With all the comments about them being slimy and smelly I'm wondering if that is just for the 0 calorie ones without tofu. I've seen posts about the noodles but nothing comparing the two in flavor. Thanks!
