Portable snacks for kids
Does anyone have any snack ideas for my kids to take to school in their backpacks? I was sending them with popcorn or goldfish, but I keep binging on them at night. I need to not have these in the house anymore. Cheezits, graham crackers, and animal crackers are definitely not doable either. Bananas squish too easily. I…

Men’s exercise shorts
I’m trying to get my husband to start exercising more. One of his complaints is it’s too hot (and it often is really hot). However, he wears cotton T-shirt’s and khaki shorts to walk or work out in. I’ve found some dry fit shirts for him. What would y’all suggest for shorts? I’m assuming he might like something not too…

Blender recommendations
Do y'all have any blender recommendations? I had no idea that blender technology blossomed so profusely since my last blender purchase. So, now I'm quite overwhelmed. Vitamix is out of the budget. I was thinking Ninja but then I was getting it mixed up with the Nutri-bullet as they both start with Ns and then there's a…

Garmin forerunner 435 syncing slow
I'm still trying to figure out this Garmin forerunner 435 that I got in May. So, it seems like it takes a long time to sync and the whole process seems kind of convoluted. Can't it just do it automatically? Do I really have to go every so often and find the device in Connect then select sync which doesn't want to work 50…

Headaches from running?
I'm getting headaches from running. I know it's because I tense my neck and/or shoulders. I tend to do this when stressed and have home exercises for it. Doors anyone know anything I can do while running to stop doing it? I do periodically make a point to push my shoulders down.

Garmin 235 question
I would like to have my watch face show my heart rate all the time. I want to look at my watch, see the time and heart rate at the same time. Is this possible? Thank you for any help.

I'm overwhelmed with the choices of zoodlers. Does anyone have a recommendation? A zoodler turns zucchini into spaghetti like "noodles" for those who may be wondering.

Are Morningstar, Boca, etc quality foods or junk
I'm not asking about taste, but if you want to give your opinion on that that is fine. What I'm asking is, what are these foods made of? Are they processed, are they considered clean foods, are they junk or a little of all if the above? I've always just blindly eaten them without really paying attention to what they're…

Any good vegetable beef soup recipes?
I'm just entering my 2nd trimester of pregnancy and vegetable soup is the first thing I've felt like cooking. The problem is everytime I try to make it, it's horrible. My mom used to make it really well, but when I ask her how she says, "you just put it together".

When does 1st trimester fatigue go away?
I'm 10.5 weeks along but this is my 3rd pregnancy in less than 3.5 years. I don't remember being this tired the other two times. I'm too tired to even go to get a pedicure. Now, that's just ridiculous. Please tell me that there's hope I'll get some energy soon. On the other hand, the nausea seems to be gone unless I think…

Food scales
I have 2 questions: I've been using a cheap, flimsy little food scale that seems like it may be really inaccurate. Has anyone used this type of food scale and what has your experience been with it. If you have found it inaccurate, how bad has it been? Does anyone have any suggestions for an accurate food scale and where…

Ideas low calorie christmas party food
Does anyone have any ideas for any low or lower calorie food I can make to bring to an office christmas party. It would be even better if it were kind of easy to make. I think I'm a little hesitant in my own ideas right now after making brownies with pumpkin for a party. They weren't so good but I wasn't sure if they…

Have people told you that you're losing too much weight?
I'm still a few pounds over the mid-point in the normal bmi range. But I've been getting a lot of comments lately like I don't need to lose anymore weight or don't become anorexic. I have weighed another 10 pounds less than what I am weighing now for most of my life. However, because I have moved, the people that see me…

first time to post
Hi! I've been using this site for about a month and have lost 5 lbs which I have not been able to do very easily for about 10 years. I have another 12 to go for my first goal and then another 10 or 20 after that. (I'm 5'3"). Now that I have this initial weight loss, I am super-motivated and ready to take some new action…
