Avoid Initial Discouragement!

I unfortunately started with MFP RIGHT before my 'time'.... so I don't think I'm getting normal results with the scale right now. For future reference, what happens with the scale when you ladies out there see the full moon rising?

grazing at work
Something I've discovered works really well for me is to keep a baggie of grapes, carrot sticks, or other low cal snacks on my desk and just keep nibbling throughout the day. Keeps me from feeling ravenous and avoid the mid-afternoon sugar binge.

Plagued by Headaches
Only been doing MFP for a week and a half but it seems like I've had a low grade headache since I started. Is this just my body reacting to the changes? How long can I expect it to last? Anyone else have these problems?

I'm confused. Is it 8 glasses of WATER per day or is it 8 glasses of LIQUIDS per day? I mean, if I drink two cups of black coffee, one cup of peppermint tea, two glasses of milk and three glasses of water, am I done or do I have to drink another 5 glasses of water...
