Cabbage soup diet
anyone know if it is a good way to "jumpstart" weight loss. I know it's not permanent (in fact it is only to be done 1 week at a time). Just wondering if anyone had it help them AND if you kept the weight off when you switched to counting calories (if you did that)???

tired of the battle
I'm just so tired of fighting to lose weight. it has been a lifelong battle. i don't want to give up, i just wish it would take less time. I know, I know, slow and steady is best, but i would love quicker results. Any suggestions? (Sorry for complaining. I am hormonal right now.:frown:

so, i'm back after a year long absence. I became pregnant last spring and had twins (4 weeks ago). And now I am in DESPERATE need of motivation and support. carb senstitive??
Is anyone else REALLY sensitive to carbs? I find that if I eat like next to no carbs, I can lose several pounds. However, as soon as i try to add them back in (just 50-70 a day) I gain weight back. This makes it VERY difficult to lose weight. VERY DISCOURAGED

Has anyone out there ever tried Weigh Down workshop? The principle is to eat only when you are hungry and stop at the first sign of fullness> Oh yeah, and no food is restricted. The idea is that you will be eating less calories.

how many calories?????
I have read sooooo many different things about how many calories i should eat. Most say around 2000, but this site says 1460. Why the differences?
