Weight gain after day one
I’m back to Keto, after messing around with WW, low cal and VLC for the past 6 months. I kept playing with the same 10 lbs with no net loss. Did well (I thought) on Keto yesterday and my weight is up two lbs today?! Is this normal ?

Success stories?
As I read reviews on this diet I find a lot of negative ones. Anyone have any long term success?

Meal ideas
Anyone have any meal /snack ideas? I'm in a rut and either eat too little or end up eating things I shouldn't.

Slower loss when restarting
Does anyone find that if you fall if the wagon and gain a few pounds, weight loss goes slower once you get back on? Seems to be the case for me this week

Exercise cals
Out of curiosity, how many of you eat back cals earned? From "real" exercise or just from a fitness tracker? (Daily cals burned above BMR) If you do, are you consistently losing?

Treat yourself!
Anyone watch Parks and Rec? You'll know the reference. Anyway, do you have plans in place to reward yourself along the way and/or when you hit goal? After 25 lbs I'm getting my hair highlighted....not sure what I'll do for 50 or 75 yet, but when I hit 100 lbs(which is approx my goal, maybe 110) I'm hoping to get an Apple…

High fat
Can someone explain to me why it's ok to eat a lot of fat, especially saturated fat? I know that as my family hears what I'm eating, they're gonna have a LOT of opinions. I want to have a good, but easy to understand answer. Thanks!

Carbs
So, is it best to keep carbs at a specific number (like 25-50) OR at a specific percentage of total calories (like 5-6%)? Thanks!

Hungry
How in the world did I ever eat 800-1000 calories before?!?! (Several years ago I lost weight on medifast eating that much.) now my calorie goal is 1490 and I'm sooo hungry! I know, I'm a wimp. I really can't imagine going back to anything below 1200! (Btw, if I cut calories every 10 lbs of loss, will I eventually need to…

Frustrated
So, I should be able to lose weight eating as many as 2000 cals, but I can't. This week I've been eating between 13-1500 cals, and STILL not losing. I'm not getting an exercise in other than my daily activities right now. I record everything that goes in my mouth, but it's not all "clean". If CICO is correct, then should…

Calories
Can anyone share what your calorie goal is per day? If you use a Fitbit are you eating back any of those calories you burn? (Normal activity, not exercise.)

Posted in reg board and want to see your answers
So I've done this before without much success. Had a baby 8 months ago and ready to get serious but confused about some things. MFP says my calorie goal should be 1490 based on sedentary lifestyle. (I'm still trying to get into a workout routine.) my BMR , based on diff calculators, is around 1990 (TDEE is around 2300 .) I…

Exercise cals
Since the cals your calculator recommends are so much higher than MFP, do you NOT eat back exercise cals? Thanks!

Fitbit question
Those who use fotnits, do you eat back your cals earned? I'm talking just normal activity cals earned, not from official exercise. If you do, are you still consistently losing?

BF group
I'm back for what seems like the millionth time. I have a beautiful 8 week old son (and 5 others ages 7-12) . I'm looking for an active and supportive group of breastfeeding moms. I have 100 lbs to lose and I've barely lost 10 lbs since having the baby.

Breastfeeding and low carb
I have an 8 week old baby, questionable milk supply (he has been very slowly gaining and I occasionally have to supplement) and need to lose 100 lbs. I'm also 37 and have Hashimotos hypothyroid, tho my levels are normal. I only gained 20 lbs during this pregnancy, but have only lost 10 so far :/ I'm county calories, trying…

back again...
For most of my adult life I've eaten between 800-1200 cals a day....i've had spurts of time where I lost on this (1 year I lost 50 lbs on medifast eating like this), but it always either comes back or stalls. i've been dancing around this whole eat more concept for years. I tried several years ago and was so discouraged…

confused and scared
I increased my cals to 1200 this week and then actually hit 1500 cals today. (My TDEE is somewhere between 2300 and 3000 depending on which calculator) I feel gross for eating 1500 cals and am so scared i'm gonna gain a ton of weight. How do you get past the fear???? I've tried reading these other threads that explain how…

Need a salty snack:)
Does anyone have any good ideas for low carb/fat/cal/ salty snacks. I eat smoked almonds sometimes, but I have been really craving something salty and crunchy. Also, is light popcorn bad for you? I;ve read it has a really high glycemic index.

HI!
Hi! I just restarted atkins (probably for the 3rd time) last friday. I know in the past I've eaten too many processed foods on it and didn't count cals. I have tried EVERY other diet w/out success so my dh suggested doing this. I need to get throught the fogginess/weakness of the first week. I definitely NEED…

New...but not really
Hi everyone. I am kind of "restarting". I lost 45 lbs doing medifast about a year ago. HAd some serious family drama/health issues and couldn't afford it. Tried every way imaginable wo lose by counting cals/carbs. (VLC, higher cal, "metabolism reset") and all i did was GAIN. (I was also on zoloft for several months, which…

Giving up :(
I can't seem to do it ladies. Not losing so I don't see the point in sticking with it. NOT gonna go carb crazy (staying under 100 grams a day) but gonna have more than what I did with SBD. THank you all for your support. (Especially Nanc:) Good luck on your journey!

protein bars
I know 99% out there are not good for you, but are there ANY protein bars that aren't too bad (or too high in carbs)? With 5 kids playing sports, doing piano etc I am on the go A LOT. I try to plan ahead and have a healthy snack/meal ready, but sometimes I just don't. Can anyone recommend a bar for those situations? (FYI,…

Grrrr
Soooooo, after upping cals, going off of ZOloft, trying to eat MOSTLY clean, working out (lifting too) I am so SICK of not being able to lose :( IT has been almost a year since I've seen any loss (and no I'm not losing inches). Been off Zoloft for a month. If eating at a calorie deficit was really all it took, i'd be at…
