I'm just so tired of fighting to lose weight. it has been a lifelong battle. i don't want to give up, i just wish it would take less time. I know, I know, slow and steady is best, but i would love quicker results. Any suggestions? (Sorry for complaining. I am hormonal right now.:frown:

Think of it as a lifestyle, not a diet. Don't do anything you couldn't continue in the long run. Moderate workout schedule and sensible choices are going to keep you on track. get HEALTHY! when you're healthy, your body will find the weight its supposed to be at.0

Sadly, slow and steady wins the race. I agree. Don't think of this as a diet, it's a lifestyle!:flowerforyou: A diet is temporary; this is your life. Make small, gradual changes that you can live with. Don't try to be perfect. While whining won't help get you anywhere- it just doesn't burn enough calories:laugh: - do forgive yourself if you over-indulge occasionally. Start to become aware of your body and how certain foods make you feel. For me, a light bulb went off when I finally woke up to the fact that over-eating and junky, high-carb snacks made me feel sluggish and depressed. Celebrate every small success- every pound, every healthy change and choice. You'll get there as long as you believe!!!0

I understand getting tired.....and its not a battle, its a war!
I have been eating the same foods over and over for a month now and it's getting old. I know however, that I am getting healthy and stronger and I win battles, lose battles, but with strength I can win the war and you can too! I feel like this is a second job. Some days you like your job, other days you want to turn in your resignation! Other times its a hostage situation with that "sin food" that has a gun to your head and you have the choice to negotiate the hostage situation!
DON'T GIVE UP! You CAN do IT! Try to change it up, do a new activity, read, make new friends, go roller skating, just do something different. (believe me, I am trying to learn this too, since right now its cook and eat, go to work, eat healthy, go to gym, eat healthy go home sleep, work, gym, sleep, work gym sleep! It gets monotonous, but again, its the end result of this! Try to see the end result! My issue is that since I'm spending more money with food and training, I have less money for other activities! So I go to the library, spend time online or just find things to keep busy like projects in the house!
Anyway, it's okay to be tired...we all get tired from our jobs. But keep fighting! :bigsmile:0 -

This is what I say. I look at exercise as something I am going to do until I cannot physically do it. I plan on eating heathier most days forever. Yes I say most days because there are going to be days I'm not going to. But portion control and moderation.
If you only exercise/eat healthy to lose weight and go back to no exercise/unhealthy eating you will gain back your weight. And you'll gain it alot quicker than you lost it.
So don't think of it as a battle. Try to think of it positively. That this is the healthy new you:flowerforyou:0
