Yo, So to all that have shape-shifted once, twice, or done it once and kept it off. What is the one piece of advice you have learnt that has changed the way you have gone about things? Dam those Quorn Sausauges!
So this is a rant more than anything else!! Friday is my weigh-in and logging day (but I do weigh daily). I was 195lbs yesterday and my goal was 196.1lbs for today's weigh-in. Though I had it in the bag...well the Quorn sausages really showed me who is boss. What I did not know (till after I had 3 of them) is that Quorn…

Cheat Meals / Refeed /Off Plan - Scale impact?
Hey, So I am a believer in having an evening or lunch off the tracking every so often for me to have a mental break from it (roughly every 3-4 weeks). I have a very addictive personality and I know I can get a bit obsessed with weight loss. This system works for me. I have the times planned months in advance. It will…

I hit my 100lbs today
Today I hit my hundred pounds lost. I am a bit emotional about it. It has been a massive journey and one of the best things I have ever done. It has been so hard at times but it has shown me how appreciative I am off my body and how I am stronger than I even know. I have genuinely fallen in love with myself through this…

Protein Pancake Recipe...super easy
Got this recipe from my powerlifting friend last weekend. It is the boss. 35g of protein, 440 Kcal (depending on topping). Would highly recommend. Just chuck everything, other than the topping (I choose choc shot and banana) into a blender, cook in a non stick pan, eat. Simples.

Probably loneliness from being a 270lbs single women, I thought that if I lost weight I wouldn't need to be single any more. Over the last 9 months, I have learnt some really important things. I stand today almost 90lbs lighter but also…

Advice Needed - Do I need to change?
Hey, So I am afraid this is another plateau thread. Rest assured, I do know that weight loss is not linear and I am happy to keep going taking other wins during this plateau. However, I am little concerned that it is because I am doing something wrong and so I need to change it to get out of the plateau, rather than just…

Anyone else naturally heavy?
Hey MFPers, So I think I am just naturally very heavy. I currently weigh 74kg/163Lbs and my measurements are 32G - 26 - 39 with 24 thighs. Now I know I am not the smallest of girls but I don't think that I should be this heavy. I know muscle weights heavier than fat but I am not that built and have a BF of 24% (last time I…

The dreaded Wall
Hey, So I have been on this journey for some years now (there maybe some possibility that I may have got a little distracted at times). Anyway...The long and short of it I definitely think I have changed my life forever, I have gone from a booze hound that would have taken a taxi round the corner to a marathon running…
