been a rough 3 days.... cooking and cleaning for party, recovering after party and yesterday was too damn cold for August to move. 20min walk this morning before work. I would have taken today off too, except for the challenge. thx

Vacation logging hints
I'm torn between 4 days of eating and drinking anything I want or trying to moderate and log. It's a much needed vacation-psychotically so...maybe I should try for 2200? I just dropped to 1300 because NOTHING was happening... and I'm feeling OK, but what to do???

well I didn't miss it,, I just didn't have internet access on my phone and couldn't log in, but i logged on phone.. exercise was excellent.. diary open. I was good, all vacation things considered... hope you're all hitting it.

photos. sitting down vs. standing up
Something I never think about... but... I just had a friend remove a pic from facebook 'cos I was sitting down looking extra squishy... I NEVER see myself sitting down and don't want to start now,,,and definitely don't want to share. even among friends.

I just made a bean dip! kinda faux hummus
Kinda fake hummus I used a can of garbanzos and butter beans 2 tbsp olive oil a squirt of lemon and lime juice about a tbsp and a half of diced garlic a nice handful of fresh sage about a half handful of fresh basil and about 3/4 of a tbsp of wet jerk seasoning. it made about 500mls of dip and that comes out to 5 calories…

lazy request for FRUITS.. the lowest call ranked?
about 100 g canteloupe = about 36 calories.. that's about 2 small slices... strawberries 165 gm = about 53 calories. that's about 6 berries does anyone know of an easy ascending or descending list of fruits? I'm feeling lazy but want to enjoy the summer fruits.. veggies would be another issue?

what is a bad cheat day?
i mean how many calories over your daily goal is 'bad'... or 'worse' or 'blew it'? is 1500 calories over too much to recover from for the weekly goal? total calories as of NOW for last week 8496.. goal calories 10430. guess I answered my own question... sorry..so in theory i should still be down half a pound

glazed apricots unavailable.
unless you pay your left arm and mail order. RATS.. I dried glazed peaches from a local greek store but they didn't cut it. dried pears wayyy too many calories... SO I bought some dried figs. gonna try those as evening snack... I miss the apricots.. COME BACK SOON

just a stupid observation but I finally realized it only takes 1 & 1/3 tablespoonfuls of oil ( 4 tsp) to pop 4 tablespoonfuls of pop corn. who knew? I used to use 3 tbsp.
