Grammar pet peeves
Please tell me I am not the only person out here who gets frustrated trying to read posts (on any social network, including this one) with a ton of grammatical errors in them? My biggest pet peeve is the improper usage of their, there, and they're; then and than; no and know; to and too; and could of, should of and would…

Reward question for anyone who can help
How does one reward one's self for doing well when one doesn't have the means (i.e. the money) to get said reward? I can think of a hundred rewards that I can get myself, but I haven't yet found a job and without a job, no money, and without money, no means to purchase rewards.

skipping meals, especially breakfast
I was wondering what everyone's opinion on skipping meals is.... I forgot to eat breakfast this morning. I am not, as a general rule, a breakfast eater. I never have been. Ever since I was in high school. So it's a real effort for me to eat breakfast. Even knowing that eating the right breakfast is beneficial, I still have…

Log a Bite of food???
I'd like your opinion (anyone and everyone's)... how does one log a bite of something? Or do you?? Example: My son was eating a corn dog the other day. I don't eat corn dogs anymore, but when he set his plate down, I stole a bite from one. How do I log that??

Advice on healthy snacking
I've begun writing again and have noticed that when I do write, I often sit with snack foods near me because when I get to a "thinking" spot (where I'm sorting out what is coming into the story next), I tend to snack. In the past, I've snacked on things like bite-sized cookies, m&m's, jelly bellies... things like that,…

HELP?!!
So I did a middle-of-the-week check on my weight (yes, I stepped on the scale) and I have succeeded at maintaining my weight. But I want to lose weight!! So, I guess I have to redouble my efforts on the exercise boat, but I'm curious... I've been consuming, on average, about 1700 calories a day, while I'm burning, on…

I rode my bicycle
I can't believe it! And for longer than just around the block to make sure I still knew how to ride a bike! I rode for 19 minutes!!! Okay, so my arthritic knee gave me problems in the beginning... so much so that I thought for sure I wasn't going to make it very far. But I kept on pushing and by block 10 or so my knee…

Cardio or Weight training
I have a question I hope someone can help me with... I have started doing exercises that target specific areas of the body, i.e. arm circles, sit ups, leg lifts, etc. Is that considered weight training or cardio?? How do I log those exercises? I'd like to include them especially when I really put forth the effort (like…

Going to the County Fair
I'm going to the county fair for the first time ever and am oh, so excited! I am told there will be lots of fatty, fried foods there, but I'm not worried about that because I'm not having any cravings and know that I'll be able to walk by them and not touch them! However, I"m curious as to how to log in all the walking…

But there's still a lot of daylight left and I feel like i should be doing something else other than sitting on this damn computer reading or researching or watching television. So, when do you know when to quit??…
