New Profile Pic
I've finally had a photo which doesn't make me want to cry! I had to buy this photo for $12 (taken at a function after a sports carnival) but loved it that much I just had to have it. Here's to many more years of liking photos of myself!

6 months = 26kg/57lbs
My six months was on Saturday and I weighed in tonight and I've now lost 26kg/57lbs!

Please stop basing your happiness on a number
I see this over and over again on these boards, posters who put all their happiness based on what a number says. The scale should be largely irrelevant to your happiness. It's great as a tool to measure your body, but it's one of many. Cm lost, how your clothes fit, how you feel are just as important if not more. I've just…

Small Victory
Considering the week I just had (coaching, had no control over food) I've very happy to find out I only put on 800grams! Now back to reality and back to eating the way I want!

Please read diaries before commenting
If you're going to comment on diaries please read them first. I'm on holidays and can't control my eating (coach of a sports team and meals are set for the team) but I've been logging at zero and making a note of 'not logged' I've had about twenty comments of 'well done', 'wtg', 'great work!' Clearly just commenting on the…

In less than six months I have lost 25kg!
Today I hit 25.6kg/56.4lbs so very, very excited today! My 'official' journey started on July 21st 2011 (picked up my Jenny Craig food that night) Even better over Christmas I've lost 2.4kg/5.2lbs over Xmas/New Year period. Don't have pics yet, waiting for them to be emailed to me

A great way to tell if a diary is full of crap
It tell you not to eat fruit! Fruit is awesome and is such a wonderful fuel to feed your body with. It might have high sugar (fructose which is much better than normal sugar) but this is HEALTHY sugar. And we do need sugar to function.

I think that was a sign (NRoLFW)
I have the NROLFW on my Kindle but decided it was probably better to have the book as it's too difficult to switch back and forth. I had it open on Amazon comparing prices to getting it here. It's cheaper to order from America than to get the book here with the current Aussie dollar. But I was still umming and ahhing over…

Lost Over Christmas
I had two weeks of not weighing in. In that two weeks I had my cousin's wedding, a smorgosboard lunch and Xmas. I thought I'd maintain at best. Step on the scale tonight and I've LOST 1.4kg. Very happy! Apparently the first person to lose at Jenny Craig that day, which is always a good thing to hear! I had my measurments…

iPhone dropped in bath :(
So depressed right now. Won't even turn on! I've stuck it in rice (it's worked before) and am just praying, praying, praying! Ready to cry right now. It is covered by insurance ($100xs) but it will need to be assessed first and since it's Xmas holidays that means I probably won't get it beforehand!

Just A Bad Day
It's almost 10pm and I'm sitting here after a horrible day and it's taking all my power not to go out and just binge. I desperately want McDonalds right now, or pizza and as pathetic as it sounds I just need some encouragement. Sorry for the stupid topic.

Health NSV
About three years ago I had the glucose test done as I have a history of Type 2 diabetes in my family. I was pre-diabetic. I decided to go get a check up about two weeks ago and she got my to do another glucose test as well as check my cholesterol. I was terrified of being diabetic and felt really bad during the test, and…

Don't trust clothes sizes!
I just went to buy a new crop top as mine has had it. The first one I tried on was a size 18 (just getting into 18 and it was the largest they had!) Didnt fit. Went to Addias. Tried their highest on and it fits perfectly. The size? 14! I am not a size 14 by any stretch. It's laughable. They were down from $50 to $15 so I…

No time for organized exercise
Until Jan 18th I have little time for organized exercise. Three days a week I leave for work at seven and get home at midnight. Hose three days include half hour of walking to work and five hours doing bar duty. Sometimes run off my feet. Other times sitting down doing nothing. Two days a week I have training (not too…

In 133 days I have.. (pics included)
completely changed my life. I was miserable, crying every night. Seriously considering just ending it all. Just had a snap decesion and went 'Screw it, I'm going to be happy' So I went back to Jenny Craig and started being healthy. In the last week of July (can't remember exact dates) These photos were taken after 100…

Dumb Question
I love both normal yoghurt and frozen yoghurt. As dumb as this sounds if I stick the yoghurt tub in the freezer will that be the same as is sold in shops?

Brilliant NSV
Standing at the kitchen at work waiting for my toastie and a woman from a different dept turns to me and says 'I know it's random but I just had to tell you how FANTASTIC you are looking! Way to go!' It's now ten hours later and I still can't wipe the smile from my face!

Happiness aplenty
I really, truly believe that by starting on my healthy lifestyle I've managed to conquer my depression. In the 100+ days I've been doing this I've had maybe three or four days of struggles. Now? I have days (like right now) where I'm just so happy I can't stop smiling! I sent my mum a photo of the dress I'm going to buy…

Small NSV
As you can all see from my profile picture I'm a softball player. Part of being a softball player is your uniform having knee high socks. I've always struggled in hot weather to have them up because I get overheated. Today it was 40c and I played the full game with them up! Small achievement but a good one for me!

Thighs
Am I the only one who likes having muscly thighs? (men you don't count) I've played sport my whole life and to me bigger thighs mean I can play it better. The idea they need to be tiny annoys me!

When did you realise 'this time it's for real?'
For me, like a lot of others on here, I've spent most of my life trying to lose weight. So the fear's always there that I'm going to fall off the wagon. This time has always felt different, even from the first day. But it's only today I said to my mum 'There's no going back from this mum. I'm doing it this time' She agreed…

New Goal Needed
I was very disappointed last week as I was 03kg/0.661lbs off hitting my first big goal of 20kg/44lbs. I was desperate to lose it this week as in all my attempts at weight loss I've never lost more than 20kg. I was a big off this week with my food and was between 0-200 cals over most of the week. Excepted a gain. Just had…

A different type of before and after photos
This will look much better once I've lost more weight but it's still very good. In March (the last time I'd weight was six weeks before at 125kg. I'd put on because I struggled at that point) Two weeks ago (around 119kg)

Irrationally angry over weight loss right now
Had my weigh in tonight. Sixteen weeks since I've started. I lost 0.7kg (1.54lbs) which takes me to 19.7kg (43.4 pounds) lost which is an amazing achievement. But I want to hit 20kg (44lbs) lost SO BAD and it's such a tiny amount and I need to break this psychological barrier (the most I've ever lost has been 16kg (35lbs)…

Thin for Thirty group
I'm looking for a group that's not too big and sticks together. The few I've joined have had little postings sadly. Soon I'll just have to start my own! One of the big reasons I'm doing this is because my 20s have sucked. Between being diagnosed with depression, PCOS and being morbidly obese I've had a terrie 20s. I refuse…

Another 'please look at my diary'
Can people look at my diary and give me suggestions please? Two things first :) 1. I am using Jenny Craig and their food until I hit 90kg. That's not going to change. It's worked so far and keeps me on track. I start doing two full days after I lose another 5kg 2. As of five minutes I ago I updated my goals, before I was…
