Where do you insert your pump catheter?
Hi T1 pals, Ive been T1 41 yrs but have only had a pump for one yr. So far Ive only inserted the catheter all over my stomach. I have a Medtronic Paradigm. why don't you burn calories doing strength training??
I don't understand why strength training dosen't burn calories if something like light housework does? Doesn't strength training take energy and expended energy burn calories? Please enlighten me!

burning calories?
i just started doing cardio monday and today i added some strength training. doesn't strength training burn calories or does abd crunches and rowing count as cardio and not strength training??

meds changed
i have now been taken off my fluid pill (taken to lower BP) and another BP pill i take has been cut in half. My insulin has also been cut down. In 36 yrs on insulin the dose has never been lowered only increased! Praise God!!!

not sure how net calories work
i'm starting at a gym on Monday and i'm not sure about net calories. it seems if u are allowed 1200 cal/day & burn say 200 and eat that 200 in addition to the 1200 you'd be defeating your purpose. Am i way off?
