Overnight we had noisy thunderstorms and I lost some sleep.
Today I did quite a few Zoom classes and did a bit of die cutting. Lots more to do with my Christmas project.
I plan to make a trip to Trader Joe’s tomorrow given a forecast for a day of lower temperatures.
Barbie, happy watering. That is something you cannot put off in the hot dry weather.
Jackie, a fish vendor who will be there every week? Wow that will be convenient.
Sandy, I hope the birthday cake was enjoyed by the kids!
A friend in Oregon sent a few photos of her garden. She just picked enough cucumbers to make pickles and she has lovely braided garlic again this year.
Be safe everyone.

Happy Thursday! Charlie picked out a CUBS (as in baseball) cake which made us all laugh. I brought McDonalds and Lisa's parents came for cake. Charlie enjoyed her actual birthday but will like it better Saturday when she and Robby share a party. His is the 28th. I have my meeting and errands today. Tomorrow Cheryl and I are going to a Cubs vs Red Sox game where I root for the Cubs and she roots for the Red Sox. She got free tickets some how and Marisa couldn't go so she asked me to join her.
Everyone is busy with their gardens, cards, dog walking and cooking. I feel lazy. lol
Enjoy your day.

Apart from taking George for a walk on the moors this morning I have stayed home. It was very foggy with drizzle so no point working outside but in the afternoon it cleared so I began to tidy a few areas and clear a path. At least I don’t have to worry about watering! My Shark vacuum has become a bit heavy for my older arms to carry upstairs so have been researching a smaller cordless stick design to keep in the spare room. The next change will involve my lawnmower that I’m beginning to find too cumbersome.
This evening I pan fried the fish I bought yesterday and it was delicious. George was treated to a small piece but Brady missed out because he wasn’t home!Happy Thursday.

😀 A bit cooler today. I got my walk and the watering finished before 9 AM. My Thursday walking friend came earlier than her usual time to avoid the noon sun. My dog walking friend came on schedule at 4 and we both noticed that it was cooler than it had been. Otherwise I did my usual stuff—zoom meeting, bike, knitting, and tv. I do most of my reading in the bathroom or at bedtime or in the middle of the night if I have trouble going back to sleep after taking the dogs out.

Happy Friday! I don't have much time as Cheryl is picking me up in two hours for the Cubs/Red Sox baseball game. I hope you all have a good day and have perfect weather.

Hello, no message yesterday. I did make my trip to Trader Joe’s and started on regular chores and Zoom classes. Then I was notified that the friend who was in palliative care had passed away. I corresponded with her daughter who, although she knew this was coming, is very shook up. She said she will work with her brother and sister to put together all the final details. I guess I was somewhat surprised that some of these discussions and decisions were still up in the air. I hope decisions among a group of 3 are not contentious.
I am trying to start on a sympathy card but seem to be kind of stuck. Working on little things, laundry, finally getting in touch with the plumber and have an appointment scheduled. Also picked a nice bunch of green beans. I will cook those for supper.
Sandy, enjoy the baseball game! Hope the weather won’t be scorching.
Barbie, we have had cooler mornings the last 2 days. Apparently that break is over with hot weather coming back with a vengeance. Darn.
Jackie, I have the same issue with my vacuum. It seems too heavy to move about. I don’t take it up and down stairs now. Happy shopping for a lighter option.
Hoping everyone has a good day and a good weekend.

😀 It was so much cooler today that I could wait until after dance to water and I wore a sweatshirt. Dancing was fun. Annie's new toy was a squeaky unstuffed duck. She played with the duck a lot, but, even so, came in to get attention from us so we had to stop a few dances to pet her and calm her.
😀 I put a few items in the garbage, a few in the box to be shredded, and a few in the give away box. Otherwise I watched a few great TV shows and mopped one room.
😀 The big Lavender Festival is this weekend so I won't be driving anywhere except to the grocery store at 8:30 Sunday morning. Our neighbourhood will hold a yard/garage sale tomorrow. I'll take some time to walk around and chat with neighbors and see what they have for sale.

Happy Saturday! Tonight is Charlie and Robby's birthday party and Lisa is having an outside movie in their yard. Rain is in the forecast so it might end up indoors which isn't as fun for the kids so praying it doesn't rain. We don't arrive until 7pm since it doesn't get dark until almost nine so having all the kids friends and parents inside will be crowded. I am sure we will make do but really wish we had some better weather in the forecast.
The baseball game was fun and my team won 4-1. I have never seen the park so full there were 40,000 people there. We were high up and under a covering so not in direct sun so a perfect day. My cousin's daughter who I call my niece lives near the park so she let us park Cheryl's car in front of her house and we took an Uber to the park for $!5 with tip compared to a parking lot that cost nearly $100. My niece was nice enough to pick us up and we visited with her for a short time before heading home. It was a really good day.
I hope you all have a wonderful day today and it is dry where you live.

😀 My walk around my neighbourhood gave me a lot of food for thought about why people hang on to "things". I stopped to talk to the people I know from my walks and they told me about their stuff. I'm so glad I just gave things away and didn't worry about "value".
😀 I did some chores today. I locked Annie in the back yard while I vacuumed because she puts her face right up to the vacuum and barks while the vacuum is running. Then I locked her in the house while I used the leaf blower to tidy up the patio because she does the same thing with the blower as she does with the vacuum.

We had heavy rain this morning. Then the weather turned to sunny and hot. More rain may arrive tomorrow.
I did not only my usual Saturday Zombie m classes but also this afternoon there was a special 50’s/60’s Dance Celebration. That was such fun.
I finished my sympathy card but need to address an envelope, don’t know where I should send it.
I also dug through my records to find when I purchased the Delta fixture in my shower as the person I spoke to with the plumbing company said I might be able to get replacement parts for free. I found the info but see nothing about free replacement parts. I will ask when he gets here next week.
Barbie, a good and productive day. 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Sandy, I hope you are enjoying the birthday party. No rain here this evening. Hope all is well in your area.Be well everyone.

Happy Sunday! God was good and answered my prayers with no rain for the party. There were a lot of kids so I am happy that we were able to have it outside. Lisa had all kinds of treats, from snow cones, popcorn, candy and nachos with hot cheese. The kids had a blast and some of them even watched the movie. lol The parents also had a good time so it was a success.
Today is a rest day except for walking Cheryl's dog since she and Marisa went to the Cub's game today. They are both Red Sox fans so when they are in town they go. Unfortunately, Marisa couldn't go Friday to use the tickets Cheryl won in an auction so Cheryl had to buy tickets today. Too expensive for me. We are expecting rain this morning and cloudy the rest of the day so probably not a pool day. Tomorrow looks better.
I hope you all are well and enjoying your day.

Yesterday was a non-event as it rained all day and nothing was planned. I did enjoy a long WhatsApp chat with a good friend but little else happened.
Today George and I dodged the frequent rain showers to walk round the block then I steamed chicken breast meat for George because he isn’t eating much. He loved it so at least I know there isn’t much wrong, perhaps bored with what was being offered before. In my garden I pruned the crab apple tree back to where bunches of fruit have formed then continued with weeding the flower beds. Later I called my brother Bernie in Spain for one of our chats but the connection was awful with freezes and loss of sound so after hanging up and redialling a couple of times with no improvement we gave up. He is finding the current extreme heat in his area exhausting and that affects his strength so maybe it was also disrupting our signal.
I have paid for a Bosch cordless vacuum cleaner to be collected tomorrow. Currently I am sleeping in my spare bedroom because when I went to bed Friday night I discovered a young sparrow had mistaken my open window for its entrance into its nest behind a fascia board and was settled behind the curtain. Turning on the light had disturbed it so it flew around the room before hiding behind furniture and there was no way I was going to sleep in my bed in case it flew again. Instead I opened the window wide in the hope daylight at dawn and its noisy siblings outside would encourage it to leave, then carried my duvet and pillow to the spare bed. It is very comfortable so I will stay until the new vacuum cleaner has been trialled in my bedroom. The sparrow had flown away by the time I got up yesterday morning!
Bedtime now! 💤💤

Hello. We have had a number of downpours in this area. The first one, of course accompanied by jump out of your skin lightning and thunder Saturday night. About 4am, I got up as a number of odd noises were disturbing me. First I had to find the reset button on the main power strip in my bedroom. It had tripped but the main power did not go out. Odd noises from the basement so I made my way down and the sump pump was running at top speed and almost continually. Glad the basement was not flooding. I checked the backyard and watched as the water poured out of the discharge from the sump pump at top rate but at least it was still attached properly. In daylight I checked and we had about 3” of rain. Later in the afternoon a strong storm arrived with wind and downpours. When that finally diminished l I went out to see how much rain we received but I don’t really know, the 5 1/2 “ gauge was full to the brim so I would expect we had more. Flash flood warnings were issued and as I was standing outside, I heard cars driving down a main street a block away and they were splashing through.
I drove to the post office this morning and the streets still have standing water and water is running to storm drain inlets.
Nothing else particularly interesting but I did harvest some lettuce this morning as well as green beans. Tasty start to the day.
Sandy, glad the weather cooperated for the party. Sounds like a great time was had by all.
Jackie, oh darn, a bird in your bedroom. I am glad it made an exit overnight Congrats on your new purchase and I hope it work well for you. I am not acquainted with the Bosch vacuums. I will have to look them up.
Best wishes my friends.

Happy Monday! A beautiful pool day today. I didn't go yesterday because Cheryl asked me to walk her dog and then I met my son half way from his house to mine because I forgot my creamer at his house Saturday. I bought it with other items I brought for the party and forgot to take it home.
Lin, sounds like a bad storm. I don't mind storms during the day but I don't like them at night when I am trying to sleep. I am glad all was okay and you had no flooding.
Jackie, a bird in your bedroom. I think that might have freaked me out. We had a bird in our wall in the basement one time. Babe had to remove a piece of paneling to get it out and it did eventually fly out the door. Another time one came down the dapper of the fireplace so when I opened the dapper because of noise he flew out, almost giving me a heart attack, again he managed to find the open door and get free. My cleaning lady talked me into buying a new vacuum because mine was difficult to push on the plush carpet. I had an light weight Oreck but he new one is great, even I can push it.
Shark Rocket Ultra-LightSorry it is so big.
Barbie, hope all is well with you.
Have a good day, mine is getting away from me.

😀 All is well here. Garden is growing, dogs are having fun, I keep finding new stuff to watch on TV. I was inspiired by the neighbourhood garage sale and cleared out two kitchen cabinets and one drawer. I have three bags in the car to take to the charity shop. I used the 20/20 rule from The Minimalists. If you can replace it for less than 20 dollars in less than 20 minutes, then you don't have to keep in "just in case". Thus I was able to discard baking sheets, cooling racks, containers for taking things to potlucks and a lot of utensils I've never used.
😀 birds in the house.—-I've had one recently and was fortunate that it got out when I took the dogs and me out to the back yard for awhile and left the front door open. There have been birds in garage but they weren't a problem because the dogs and I weren't in there with them.
😀 Weather, we've had more mild weather with temps in the low 70's during the day and 50's overnight. That's enough to use the furnace in the morning and the AC in the evening.
😀 Larissa called yesterday afternoon as part of her plan to call me on Monday afternoons. She has enough flexibility in her work schedule to be able to take a break like that. She is a remarkable woman able to juggle, job, family, reaching out to extended family, and an upcoming family vacation to Hawaii next month.

Regular day here, laundry, cooking and cleaning raw veggies, Zoom classes, some financial issues to tend to and now getting ready for usual Tuesday night YouTube get together. Tonight features some new Holiday products.
Excitement. They expect to sell out in the first one to two hours.

Hello! I don’t know what happened yesterday as I thought I had posted, not that anything interesting had occurred. Today, after walking George, I drove to my hairdresser for an appointment to get my hair cut. During our heatwaves it had been impossible to keep tidy because of the humidity so I’m hoping I’m back in control. We had showers on and off but late afternoon they stopped so I worked outside and in the greenhouse. Another couple of days and my beans and peas will be ready to pick, plus the cucumber and tomato plants are p reducing.
I did consider a Shark but they have become expensive in Britain. The Bosch being German, doesn’t have extra costs but is also very slim powerful so ideal to park up in the spare bedroom.
George’s groomer will visit tomorrow and hopefully tidy the areas where I did my best to cut his fur.
Oh, Oh the power on this iPad is down to 3% so I’ll send before being cut off!

Happy Wednesday! We had a great time watching our friend perform outside right by the water. I captured a beautiful sunset. Sorry the picture is so big but so beautiful.
Today is a pool day unless it rains. I have so much to do before we leave for the reunion on Wednesday. Friday I have an appointment for mani/pedi and have to get groceries for my daughter and SIL. Saturday the kiddos are spending the night. Monday I have a hair appointment and it is Robby's birthday so will probably go there to have cake with him. I also have to pack for the reunion. Tuesday I have a stress test that will last at least two hours and later I am picking up my daughter and SIL from the airport. If not delayed we will have game night with Cheryl. Wednesday we will go to Costco and I will buy breakfast and lunches for the reunion for all. The others take turns making dinners every night.
In the mist of all of this I am in negotiations with my landlords son over my new lease. He is taking over his dad's three rental properties so I will be dealing with him. He wants to raise my rent $200 for a two year lease and I don't want anymore than $100. They raised my rent $200 when Babe moved in just two years ago and then added an additional $40 a month for taxes. Another $200 would be almost $500 in two years. I don't like the thought of moving but I might have too. I would move closer to my son although I don't have much time to find a place and move out.
Sorry for the long post, hope you all have a good day.

It was George’s grooming day so we took a shorter walk on a section of the moors where fewer livestock graze. Less messy to walk! When the groomer arrived we agreed that a short coat would be best for our warmer days and then see how our climate is in September. He looks very cute and much smaller! I gave Debbie the groomer one of my cucumbers from the greenhouse and a pack of dog treats that were too chewy for George, for her dog Lola who is a huge Dog d’Bordeaux so will easily bite through them!
Sandy, that’s a beautiful sunset picture. You were definitely in the right place at the right time! I’m sorry you are going through the worry of rent increases and horrified if the landlord is suggesting an extra $200, is that per month? If so, it seems extortionate! He should appreciate you are such a good tenant that doesn’t give him problems so I do hope you can come to a satisfactory agreement because you have been happy there, right?
Past my bedtime.
Take care everyone.

Good evening. We had rain overnight but not inches and inches this time. Lots more hot days to come. A crew was out there in the heat installing a neighbor’s new fence. They stayed all day. They must have been drenched in sweat.
I need to do a few errands tomorrow morning. Unfortunately one stop doesn’t open until 10am. Darn!
Lots of Zoom classes today and some cleaning up in the bathroom, that leaking faucet is shooting water over the edge of the shower producing a dangerous wet floor. I do not want to take a fall so I am trying to sop up the water a few times a day. I will be very pleased to have that hazard eliminated Friday cannot come fast enough
Jackie, I love George’s trim…dapper darling boy!Sandy, everything costs more and now having a new person to deal with, I do hope you can come to terms I understand that taxes and insurance and maintenance have gone up in price but it seems he should have taken the increase for a second person that was put in place when Babe moved in. I got the info on my upcoming property tax bill for Sept. and March on my farm Good grief, that is a huge increase. Again, all best wishes 🤞🏻🤞🏻
My friend’s husband died yesterday afternoon. She says she doesn’t know how she can carry on. No children and her one brother cannot help much as he also has health problems. If she lived closer, I would visit her.
Be safe everyone.

Nice hearing about every ones busy days. Wish I could say I was doing something exciting, but one way or another I find things to fill my time.
The week started off by almost getting stuck in our shower; The glass doors decided they no longer wanted to slide. Thankfully I was able to shove it just enough to squeeze out of the shower. What a predicament that could have been. My husband and our 92 yr old neighbor were able to fix it, so it slides nicely now. Cleaned it up and good as new even though it is older than 10 yrs old. Glad that was repaired !
Our 21 yr old granddaughter is moving to Anaheim in southern California. She got a great job finally leaving Starbucks and having a college degree in hand. The family was at our daughters for a send away for her and a birthday party for her grandpa. Asked Mackenzie if she found a place to live yet. She pulled out her tablet showing us her apartment…..all 569 sq ft and a $2000 monthly bill. Now she has to furnish it and get all of the necessities of life for herself. Thankfully she will be paid well. She needs everything. She is excited, so we are excited for her. Had to see her before she left because she is one busy girl and who knows when we will see her again. The oldest grandchild has flown the coop and we will miss Miss Personality.
Also we were able to see her sister Aubrey, who just got back from Cheer Camp for 4 days. She is a freshman and so excited to make the Cheer Team. Now we hope to make it to her games. Notifying us tends to be a problem, but hopefully she will let us know when they are. She is so cute in her Cheer uniform.
A landscaper and crew will be here tomorrow morning to lay some new bark in the backyard. After having done the front ourselves last yr I said enough is enough. What a job ! Also just found a gorgeous large coleus in a pot for my backyard. Hope that I can keep it alive.
Two days of 80-89 degrees and a few more expected. Loving it because our 100+ temps were too frequent for me. As I age I can't handle that heat anymore.
Need to run. Take care everyone.

we are enjoying a beautiful summer’s day so warm, dry and a slight breeze. George and I walked on the moors while my washing machine went through a circle, then once hung out I went off with Linda to a farm shop for coffee and cakes. I left George at home in the cool and because the window cleaner arrived as I was walking out, I paid him and asked if George should be tempted to slip through the cat flap to investigate him, leave him in the garden but ensure the gate is locked. It is a new farm shop full of interesting local foods and gifts but the big surprise was being greeted by the wife of the man who delivers winter fuel. He had told me on his last visit that his back was very painful so running their farm was becoming difficult, so they are sensibly diversifying and what was once a farm store is now a coffee shop surrounded by beautiful wild flowers.
I couldn’t resist another plant for my flower bed and after research on Google I will find a spot for it. That will be my job this afternoon! I follow a Butterfly conservation website that has asked everyone to count butterflies in the garden and the type. Well right now there are dozens flying round a white Buddleia near the cottage but try to count flying insects high on Pollen!! 😆
Lovely as ever to see Diane dropping in. Your granddaughter’s exciting new adventure reminded me of how life is when young and brave enough to take it on. I used to keep a couple of Coleus’s as indoor plants many years ago but rarely see them now. Gorgeous leaf colouring.
Lin, do take care on that wet floor. My tiled kitchen floor is lethal when wet so my new carpet runner is saving me from breaking bones! So sad your friend’s husband died. I think the only advice you can give is Sandy’s one day at a time.
Happy Thursday to everyone.

Happy Thursday! Back from my meeting just in time before the rain came. This morning the landlord came with a new window guy to measure windows. I am still waiting for an answer from his son with my offer for rent. We will see.
Jackie, beautiful wild flowers, great picture. George looks great in his new haircut. It sounds like you had a great day with Linda.
Diane, great to hear from you with all your updates. We are in a heat streak with heat indexes over a 100. It is raining now so maybe it will cool down. Congratulations to your granddaughter. Cost of living in California is high but it is becoming like that all over.
Lin, I am sorry about your friend's husband. I do hope she can manage by herself. Be careful with that wet floor, good the guy is coming tomorrow.
My SIL who pays for our rental for the reunion has decided not to attend. She said she is exhausted from her move from her house to independent living and her little dog has had diarrhea since the move. I told her she should board him with the Vet and they can keep an eye on him and perform tests if necessary. Her sister is still trying to talk her into coming but we will see. It is too late to cancel and people have non refundable plane tickets. She wants us to have fun without her but it won't be the same.
I still have a lot to do before the reunion but I am sure I will get it done. Between the reunion and the negotiating I am not sleeping well at night, my mind won't shut off. I will be glad once I know if I am staying or moving.
Have a good night.

Hello, having some tummy problems so I think I will just grab a book and head for my bed.
Hoping the plumber arrives early tomorrow. I am tired of swabbing up water.
Nice to see you Diane. Glad you have been able to visit with some grandchildren. Congrats to the lady with the new job.
Jackie, I agree with Sandy, that flower patch is beautiful!
Sandy, I believe you will definitely get everything taken care of and if SIL is too exhausted to attend, it is her decision.
My friend is not looking for advice. She has already prepared the obituary so I think she may be able to power through a lot more than she thought she would be able to face. One moment at a time.
Hello Barbie.

Happy Friday! Groceries were delivered, laundry is going and going to get mani/pedi in an hour. We came to an agreement for my lease. I am signing a three year lease with a $160 raise the first year and $25 raise for year 2 and 3. This way I don't have to worry about any raises for three years. I just hope I live that long and can continue to climb the 14 stairs to my unit. I am thinking positive.
Lin, sorry you are not feeling well. Yes, the final decision is hers but we are all going to miss her.
Enjoy your day today.

Well, the plumber was here and I paid a large bill. I am concerned that he was kind of off his rocker. He came in talking about vegetarians and wrestlers….like we were in the middle of a conversation. I never could piece together all the fragments of things he bounced about. He also tripped repeatedly, dropped tools, couldn’t explain what he was doing and what my options were. I think I may need a new plumber. After he left with his check, he came back and pounded on my door. I didn’t answer quickly enough so he got louder. He said I had to use my phone to help him as he was checking on the price of a part. What?? He finally said call my phone. I called it and off he went hunting for it. Hard to find with the vehicle running and the music cranked up. He finally found it and off he went. It was a strange morning. Now I have the mess to clean up.
He didn’t think the leak was bad. That’s what I get for working to get it stopped before he arrived. 🤦🏼♀️
Sandy, it sounds like you made a pretty good deal. Congrats!
Be safe everyone and have a good weekend.Lin 🙋🏼♀️

😀 I've been reading but not feeling chatty. My days feel busy and I feel useful but the days are so similar that there seems to be nothing to write about.
😀 One of my mother's funny lines was "Having nothing to do, I write. Having nothing to say, I close". That's me.
😍 Sandy, we had big rent increase here a few years ago and it became the impetus to some people to start a state wide initiativive about rent increases. I live in a 55+ manufactured home park. There are many people here who live on a modest Social Security income and the increase was staggering. There was no place for them to move easily. We own our homes but pay rent for the land we live on. I'm glad you were able to find a solution with your landlord.
😀 Lin, Wow, it does seem like you might need to get a new plumber.
😀 Jackie, There are some butterfiles hanging around my yard. Annie likes watching them and tries to catch them. Do have plants that are especially attractive to butterflies?
🎵 Yesterday was my dance session with my friend. I buy a new toy for Annie each week so she can be busy while we dance. Some people go for coffee and a scone after dancing as a treat, but it's a cheaper treat to buy a new dog toy. Even so, Annie comes into the dance room to get us to play with her.
😀 I'm going for a walk this morning with a woman who came to my line dance class years ago when she was traveling. Since then she moved from where she was in Alabama and bought a house in my neighbourhood. We walked once last year right after she bought her house and now she's all moved and wanted to get together again.
😀 I was awakened earlier than usual by the sound of Annie throwing up on the blanket. Now the blanket is being washed and Annie is asleep on the guest bed.
😥 I sorted through some books yesterday and found some to give away. I felt an odd mixture of sadness about the history of the books and satisfaction at accomplishing something.

Happy Saturday! 😊 Looks like a cloudy rainy day but you never know with Chicago weather. The kids are coming this afternoon to spend the night. We will go to Church and then to Mc Donald's and home to watch a movie. Hopefully tomorrow it will be a nice day to go to the pool before their parents pick them up.
Barbie, that is the problem, rents are so high everywhere else and even though my condo isn't the most modern I am comfortable here and I love my location. I do like how he negotiated with me and did it with kindness, not like his father. I did send him a text and asked if I was unable to do the stairs would I be able to get out of my lease although I said I wasn't anticipating that or dying. He hasn't answered me yet so we will see. I will still sign the lease when I get back from the reunion as long as there is no hidden fees.
I hope everyone is healthy and can enjoy your day.

A very quiet day for me. When I took George on to the moors I planned to walk high on the hills but there was light rain in the air and a chilly wind and because George has such a short cut, decided it wouldn’t be fair on him so stayed on lower tracks. I stopped at the local store for a couple of items including a jar of local honey to add to a birthday collection to give Linda on Monday. The sun began to appear after lunch so a few light jobs were achieved, then I finally got around to de-stoning the cherries picked weeks ago that had been in the freezer tray. Rhubarb has now been pulled too and I should have all the ingredients I need to make chutney tomorrow.
Lin, what a crazy situation with your plumber. Even I would have felt unsettled having to deal with such erratic behaviour and probably worried about substance abuse! I do hope he at least fixed the leak for good.
Barbie, over time, as I’ve developed my garden, I have chosen shrubs and bedding plants that attract butterflies and bees. There has been a conservation drive in Britain to save declining species so I do my little bit. We have annual National counts for butterflies, bird species and even certain insects. Today, as I sat outside with a cup of tea, a beautiful butterfly settled on my shoulder to warm itself in the afternoon sun and I had a chat with it!
Sandy, good news that you have settled your rent negotiation.
Stay safe everyone.
Way past my bedtime.

Hello. Nothing much to say today. I watched my friend’s funeral online this morning and I felt somewhat subdued the remainder of the day. Some Zoom classes and I found free streaming of an old favorite TV show. That made me happy and I don’t mind very old episodes. Anyone else like the Yorkshire Vet? If I could receive current episodes I would love it but I haven’t found anyone who offers overseas channels. Is it channel 5 Jackie? Anyway, I love old shows with Peter and Julian and the many animals. I hope the show stays free on Roku. You never know when they are going to pull something I like. I will enjoy it while it is available.
I have enjoyed reading your interesting bits about your lives Thanks and take care my friends.
