HAPPY ANNIVERSARY PATSY! Many more happy years.

    We are celebrating ours tomorrow.

Lin - Let us know how the Chai Tai goes I always wanted to try it.

Well no more fish, after our last batch died, Dave cleaned the tank and changed
the water. He got a new batch of fish and they died one by one. So...now our
aquarium is a terrarium with cactus plants, no lizards if you are all wondering! ;)
The original tank was my oldest daughter's when she was young and we just
    ended up keeping it.

And many more to both of you!

A possible warning. I was checking my charge account and noticed a charge today, when I had not made any purchases. The company was "audible.com" and the charge was $14.95. I figured maybe it was a different name for an ongoing thing like cell phone so I called the bank to check. They had only a phone number, which I called immediately. I learned when I registered my Kindle, I was offered a 30 day trial for a free book, which although I never used it, I nevertheless did not specify NO, THANK YOU! So, I learned I have been paying $14.95 monthly for the last 12 months due to never checking out that charge! Fortunately, the supervisor reversed the charges and issued a credit for the full 12 months, but what if I continued ignoring it? They cannot credit more than 12 months! It is a branch of Amazon, and pretty sneaky, eh? Anyway, I hope you are all better checkers than I!!!
    Dinner time again!

Happy Tuesday!! :) Nothing new or exciting, same old, same old. I still have to book my trips which I think I will do today, doesn't look like airfare is going down anytime soon.

Shirley, an early happy anniversary to you and Dave. I know you have some fun plans.

Lin, sorry to hear you are having sinus problems.

Buzz, I was at the casino and went to the ATM and when I saw what they were going to charge I changed my mind. Now online I see I was charged $2.50 just for checking my balance. Such a rip off. I do check my bank and credit cards online every day so if there was a charge I didn't recognize I would immediately call. Fortunately, it hasn't happened.

I went to sleep at 10 pm last night and slept until 6:30. My fit bit said I only got 6 hours and 45 minutes of sleep do to an hour and a half of restlessness. I think it is wrong but I do spend a lot of time putting covers on and off. Old age is so much fun, but better than the alternative.

    Have a great night!

Lin, I'm so hooked on Acorn TV. Sometimes I feel like there's nothing left to watch, then I find something. I could go a month, but not longer!
I've seen an ad for The Night Manager! It will be on AMC channel. I think it starts April 21, but need to check the website for that.

    Back to work!

Dearest sneakers, once again I am dealing with such enormous sadness. At 3:00 am early this morning, MoMo had a seizure and she was rushed to our vet. She had huge tumors in her lungs and she is gone now...with Mazzy! She was almost 14 yrs old but to me she was a puppy and one of furry children. There has been a lot going on here lately. We lost our two closest friends within 2 months. This is very painful. This is very hard! It seems somehow worse because we are older. We can't just start over.

Patsy ~ Oh no, I'm so very sorry to read dear MoMo has passed on to be with Mazzy. I can't begin to imagine how desperate you and John must be feeling as your lives have been turned upside down so tragically. It's obvious you have been perfect parents to both furry friends and they couldn't have enjoyed more TLC but then that does make the heartbreak worse somehow doesn't it. I'm sending you both the biggest hugs and wish I lived down the road so I could deliver them in person. Having recently lost my Jasper I sympathise with your thoughts of not feeling as seniors you can move on but really sweetheart, this isn't the time to even be considering it. Try to concentrate on all those wonderful memories you must hold in your hearts.

Dear PATSY, I can't say it any better than Jackie, I'm just extremely sad that you have now lost MoMo. I know, like the rest of us, that with our aging these awful losses become more frequent and also more difficult to cope with. Like you I lost family, friends, and pets in a very short period of time. Like you, I know it is difficult to replace these long time dear trusted much loved souls as we become more housebound. BUT, I also find that though these loved ones are constantly in my mind, the sharp edge of pain does lessen, and the happy memories they bring make me so grateful that I had that time given me to know and love them all. I send you both equally big hugs, us seniors, although you can't see it now, do move on. God bless and all my love,
    Anne.

PATSY, one thing struck me and I'd just like to add it to the above posting I wrote. Mazzie, MoMo, Jasper and Tabitha Daisy are our latest losses in the pet kingdom. Those two little dogs and two little cats are deeply grieved over by us, their "owners". This tells me all four where deeply loved and cared for, and during their lives knew nothing but love and kindness, and isn't that a wonderful thing to help us get through such a difficult time. So many poor abandoned animals, but four beloved pets had happy lives. Please take comfort in knowing Mazzie and MoMo had two such caring humans. Anne.

Patsy - so sorry for your loss of MoMo. Now your two family friends can play together in doggie heaven. (((Hugs)))
It will take a while for you to adjust again but now you are searching for another little one to grace your family again maybe you can take some solace with that in mind. <3<3

I didn't have time to read all the posts I will get back to that another time. I am packing now for our
anniversary at the hotel and casino. I did get to a nice relaxing Yoga class this morning and now to the
packing. I will check back some time tomorrow.
