    Lost 0.5 lb.

    Three months ago I was horrified at how much I'd gained during this pandemic, and so I embarked on a fitness campaign which included a half hour walk every morning and quite often another half hour during the day. Calorie intake reduced to 1200 a day with a very occasional lapse. The goal was to lose 10 lbs by today. Well I didn't quite make it but I'm close enough to be quite pleased, I lost 8.5 lbs (Marks weight at birth, lol). So the journey continues a little longer, the clothes fit better and I think I've strengthened the legs a wee bit. I hope I don't lapse again but hope I won't with it becoming a norm. way of life.

    Thank you Jackie, it wasn't easy and if I want to maintain I guess my baking and bread making days are over. Especially the baking! I think the lockdown helped! No coffee shops and donuts!

    I keep my calories at 1200 as well and add any exercise calories to gain more calories to eat. It seems to be working for me but I can't get under the goal I set but I am ok with that.

    I’m still not weighing myself because the combination of stresses and cold weather have done me in!! 🥺. Once I’ve seen the consultant for results and the builders have finished I will get myself back on track.

    Nearly forgot to mention I weighed myself this morning and was surprised and delighted to see I’ve only gained 2 lbs. That could have been yesterday’s hefty flapjack so an encouraging outcome. 😁

    Thanks Jackie, not competitive but vanity prefers a loss. With summer I do not ride the bike as much as I am too busy enjoying the weather and the pool. Anne, is Saturday alright with you?

    Remembering is my problem since I’ve never weighed regularly. I was showered and preparing breakfast when I thought of it today so on scales wearing clothes and up 2 lbs!!! 😐

    My phone didn't register my weight from my scale so forget today and try again tomorrow.
    If I remember right I think I gained another pound. I have to leave so don't have time to re weigh. Ugg
