better today at 110. I have been eating frequent lower carb or low quantity items. Post-meal testing shows decent numbers. @judyvalentine512 - hope your pancreatitis flares subside :)

Glad you're doing better. I'm feeling better this morning, so fingers crossed, it will continue this way.

6.0 108 Still low, but yesterday was clear fluid day. Today I've graduated to porridge and soup with noodles in it.

I'm new here, I can't seem to get my morning below 160. I take 3 medformin at night and 2 glipizide in the morning. When ever my G/C gets over 150 I get cranky. I feel like my morning G/C is always high then I spend the rest of the day trying to get it down. Help please I'm at my whits ends and really don't want to go on insulin.

I find that taking a walk or doing some sort of exercise in the evening helps and along with that I never (if I can help it) eat after 8pm. Maybe make your dinner a little lighter on the carbs? Hope that helps!! Hang in there!!! Losing weight and doing exercise have been the biggest things that have affected my blood sugar.

How long ago were you diagnosed with diabetes? It does take time for the meds and changes in diet and exercise to start to make a difference. Like Jane says, less carbs in the evening? And if you've already tried everything, maybe ask the doctor to up your meds. I know I take 2 metformin twice a day, and two glicizide in the morning.
Don't give up, it will all come together.

12.9 232.2 Holy cow!!! I ate late, had a fat free turkey, tomato and mayo sandwich with a few chips for supper. After a week of nearly nothing to eat, could this have spiked my sugar?

I think mine was 114 this morning. It's been higher like this since I was taken off glimiperide about a month ago. Not happy. I expect my
A1c will be up next time in spite of reducing carbs to 80 grams a day. Sigh.

I just checked my sugar again. Now, I only had juice and coffee so far today. My sugars are now 3.6 (64.8) I'm shaking both inside and out. Having some yogurt and bran buds before lunch. Now that's a low!!

97 had a big breakfast (eggs, ham, cheese) worked out -- water aerobics. Was feeling very dizzy after but when I came home my BS was 107 -- not bad if no work out it would have up to 200

I am on the starch solution plan and it is not making my blood sugar go up. just the opposite it is keeping it low.
