Well that worked out fine until about an hour in. The wind instantly picked up to 40 mph sustained and 60 gusts. Well somewhere in that process I got hit by a big broadside wind and got blown off the bike. Got my feet unclipped in time, but me and the bike went down. Well message received. Just as soon as it was safe, I rode home, thank goodness I was only a half mile from the house when this happened. And thank goodness I didn't get hurt. We are going to loose power soon as the winds are now worse, so may be a cold night tonight.
Glad you're OK. Hope you don't loose power for too long.0 -

Glad you're feeling better. I'm doing some serious dodging of the flu right now. So far so good, but I'm not sure how long my luck will hold. I hope my flu shot will at least provide some protection.0 -
anaconda, I'm glad your weren't hurt this time. I hope you weathered the storm OK and you didn't lose power for long
dcmatt and lovemyalex. I am still impressed by your dedication. Watching your posts reminds me that I can make this work too. Thank You.

Exactly!! All the extra time I've been working to catch-up from my vacation is really cutting into my "me" time.

That seems like a good set but I'm a bit worried after this. I have surgery on 12/17 for my trigger finger that I've put off for a bit. And then I have another surgery for 12/23 that may take 2 to 12 weeks to recover. On top of that my Jawbone Up24 has done a bunk on me yesterday. I'm a bit of a guess for yesterday just based on the basic day I did for walking. If it doesn't clear up with tonight, then I just may have to wait for a new one to be shipped. : (0 -
