Just remember every meal is a step towards or a step away from your goal. Either way you are motivated by something. When you are taking a step away from your goal you are putting a different short term goal in front of it. Figure out what it is (tired, depressed, body craving, etc) and decide if that is truly more important. Usually it is not.
Find a better way to deal with the short term goal (go to bed, get busy, or pop a stick of sugar free gum in your mouth, etc) and carry on.
It all happens one meal at a time. One pound (or kg) at a time.
Oh wow. Now *that* is my Saying for Today. I've copy/pasted it onto my stats spreadsheet to see again. Thank you parkdad <3

@sljohnson1207 You're one of the few people who looks the same build as I did as 190 lbs but... Oh WOWwwww do you look fantastic now. I will never look like that. My ultimate goal weight is 158 lbs which I've only hit once since age 11.

Fantastic work, you must feel a million dollars (*)

I've lost 50 lbs, my husband has lost about 25. We are spokespeople for our local program. Here we are before:

Looking good, Rachel! I see your hair grew out some, how long did it take you to lose 50 pounds?

It took me probably 4 months to lose 45, and then another 2 months to lose the last 5! Total of 6 months.

Glad I could help. It is easy to get defeated and I know what it is like. I wish I could switch bodies with people for one week so they can experience how losing all that weight feels. Once they experience it, no other short term goal can compare!
