OK, thats it!!...I"m going to Ed's house. Mind you we live in the same county...and my expected High, is 62 degrees....and his is 69??? Thats a gain of 7 degrees from here to there! LOL!!

Its my turn to day I could probably stand a trip to the grocery...and it may, or may not actually happen. I will not starve here, that is for sure. But, I'd 'like' to have a couple ears of corn, some kind of salad greens, (as of last night I discarded my two containers of organic salad greens. Not willing to take the chance of getting e coli.) and if I don't find suitable greens, I may invest in a bagged cole slaw, and make my own dressing. Kinda hard to eat a large green salad before each meal if you don't have green leafies!

It is currently raining outside. Comes and goes..and will continue for all 3 upcoming days. Not the kind of weather that encourages me to go outside. Though a nap does sound good. I may just do that. :)

No nap yet, but I did get the garbage and recycles to the curb. LOTS of cardboard as we had a couple of stacks of boxes that had built up. Not so much any more. One whole bin is nothing but cardboard and there is more wedged between the bins. Normally J has so many Mt. Dew cans in there that we can only put a little bit of cardboard. Between all the junk he's been ordering lately and my occasional BIG wine boxes, we were getting way behind. But I feel pretty well caught up on that now. J is back in KY visiting family.

    Hi
I'm back from walking and no cents. The temperature this morning was 39 degrees. Yesterday was a busy day doing the yard. The walking was not to bad today as there was no wind. The Sky is a cloudless sky and the day should warm up nicely.

    Hi Valerie
FWIW the Local cable News Channel was showing 47 degrees vs the 39 degrees on the front porch. That temperature is from a nearby location.

I'm guessing that the Salad Greens had Romaine Lettuce in them ?
I Guess I'm lucky that I have no problem eating Iceberg Lettuce with or without Salad Dressing or other Vegetables in the salad.

I thought I saw a prediction that the Atalanta area would get 3 inches of rain for Monday.

After doing the yard work Sunday I was tired and tried for a nap, unfortunately I had a crop failure in the nap field.
Napper here too Ed! It was just a perfect day for a nice nap!!!

    Hi Ed
I have a lot of cardboard to cut up so they fit into the large cardboard box I plan to stack them in. My brother was at the hardware store looking to get a key copied and picked up Utility Knife blades that are serrated and I suspect they will make short work of even the thickest cardboard.

I plan to look at the Nutrislicer which has been advertised heavily lately and Cast Iron Videos in a little while, Thanks.

    Have a Good Day.

Howdy y'all. It's magnificent Monday! 58 with an expected high of 67 and 90%...er make that 100% chance of precipitation at my house, with a good possibility of thundershowers.

Never did get a nap yesterday, but did get to bed a bit earlier than usual of late.

Not much of anything on the agenda today and I think that it's a good day for that. Maybe I'll get a nap today. Of course they're calling for the likely thunderstorms about the same time as I would normally nap, this afternoon. Maybe a morning nap?

Haven't seen a new HFLC for a while and this is a long one. But I like tacos and want to see which one wins the low carb battle.

    Good Wet and rainy morning!!
I think the 3 inches of rain may be the total for our 3 day rain.? They said 3 to 4 inches...on the other hand...my Weather Channel app is showing rain from now thru 3 a.m. on Tuesday..( or about another 15 or more hours of rain....I already have my 3 inches in the rain gauge...hmmm.

Ed, the counter top veg slicer/grater/shredder was interesting. I have a metal one that I bought some time ago...its great on carrots, walnuts, etc. Not made for almonds! Got myself in a real pickle trying to grate those almonds!

Dishwasher emptied, load of 'light' laundry needs to be moved to the dryer, 2 bags of kitchen and bathroom trash to take out to 'herbie curbie', I did take out the recycles. Actually everywhere I look I see some usually small thing that needs to attended to...Never ends does it?

Tom E came in, ate, begged for treats, and then quite willingly wanted outside. That surprised me. Considering the rain!

Tomorrow after my Chiro appt I will be heading to Whole Foods, hope to find green stuff! I think 'head lettuce' is something you like....or not. I'm in the not camp. For decades I thought I hated salad...nope, just Iceberg lettuce!!LOL. Also of course I'll be looking for fried tofu. :)

Need to also check the calendar, for when I need to present myself to donate tubes of blood. I know its soon that I do that.

I've looked under my car for various reasons, but never thought to look for penguins! :)

Howdy y'all. It's terrific Tuesday! 59 out there now with an expected high of 69 and 20% chance of precipitation. Maybe I'll actually get out to the store today. We'll see.

Sink is cleared and I've eaten. Need to clean up yesterday's cat bowls and feed the cats. Then maybe shower and think about getting out to the store once rush hour is past.
