Hi
I'm back from walking and found 2 cents. The Temperature out the door was 70 degrees. The day is nice looking with sunshine and forecast to be in the 80s.

Quick Hi
On my way out the door to meet my niece Leslie for lunch.
Alive and well...and busy as these duck cartoons! Laughed out loud at the rubiks cube safe!!
And, Ed, I think I can duplicate the sandwich pretty easily. Will have to go b ack and write down the spices that go with each part...but it looks and sounds like something I'd like! Thanks.
Gotta goooooo

Howdy y'all. It's satisfying Saturday! I've been up for hours but distracted by various things.
Yesterday I visited with a friend and got his chandelier raised as high as it can be. I could still, barely, hit my head on it but I'm not nearly as likely to and he can walk under it now so it's good. In his parking lot I found two dimes and four pennies! Of course I thought of Roger as I picked them up.
I did get out today, as I fed the cats the last of the canned food this morning and had to run out to buy more. I waited until just after lunch, and stopped at Aldi on the way back. Then found that the road I wanted to take home was closed off for this weekend's city festival.
Honestly, it's too darned HOT for the festival and I'm not going. I had to detour to a longer route home, with my frozen and refrigerated items in the car. I'm sure they are fine as it wasn't THAT much longer but it was still annoying, especially as they put the sign where you might, barely, see it before you passed the last reasonably easy place to turn around or take another route, but where you'd more likely see the sign just as you were passing that last spot, necessitating a more difficult turn around.
To be fair, I've known about the festival coming for weeks but hadn't paid that much attention to exactly where it would be. I'm sure I'd find the Car Show interesting but no way am I getting out that much in this hot, Georgia, summer sun. I'd be a lobster for sure.
Still need to clean yesterday's cat bowls, cool off from putting the groceries away (Kiara didn't even wait for me to get them all out of the box before she climbed into the box) and then eventually take a nap, I hope.

Mr. Wolfe tries Popeye's fried chicken dinner. Pretty sure it's not fried in Olive Oyl though.

I'm back from walking and found 25 cents (2 dimes and 5 pennies) spread out over several locations. The Temperature out the door was 70 degrees. As I was heading home 4 blocks from home it started drizzling

What I do is have a Box in the trunk of the car that I put frozen items in and have a Knitted Blanket that I put part of under the frozen or refrigerated and then the rest of the blanket wraps around the foods.parityanimal wrote: »Trying afternoon tea, for the first time.parityanimal wrote: »Why do we bake so many things at 350 degrees Fahrenheit?parityanimal wrote: »Mr. Wolfe tries Popeye's fried chicken dinner. Howdy y'all. It's scintillating Sunday! 70 with and expected high of 90 and 20% chance of precipitation. We definitely got our precipitation last night, fairly late though so it didn't really affect my day much. A lot of noise around dinner time though!
Need to clean yesterday's cat bowls, feed cats, maybe do some laundry. I'll ponder that laundry...

This would probably work nicely with tofu too, though not sure what you would sub for the cream.

90 ! Yuck !
We already hit 100% rain today, It rained here enough after I was back home to make the streets wet and not enough to dampen the ground under the trees where it stayed dry.
The change found was semi weird, Once on the way out after picking up my coffee, then in the street outbound and then on the way back back home in the same locations again
I hate extraneous noise FWIW.
Darned, I meant to get the laundry going when I arrived back home, Oops.parityanimal wrote: »Feed 7 people for $3?

What kind of Festival is it ?
It's just a "welcome to summer" sort of festival, but they do seem to always include a car show. I saw a number of tent/booths set up along what part of the road I could see, as I turned my van around, but honestly I have never gone to the Peachtree Corners Festival as it's always in the summer heat! I know it's not technically summer yet, but it feels like it down here.
