    Hi
I'm back from walking and 5 cents. The Temperature out the door was 65 degrees. I took a looping walk path so that I could head for home if the occasional drizzle became steady rain.

    Hi Valerie
Howdy y'all. It's terrific Tuesday! 70 with an expected high of 82 and 30% chance of precipitation.

Lilo has had her shot (and the usual post-shot treats). Kiara is running around like a hooligan, knocking things over. Dinah was chasing around with Kiara but finally ran up to sit on J's desk to rest, while Kiara continues the hooliganism.

Kiara wants breakfast. She'll get it in a few minutes.

Need to pick up a prescription, buy paper towels, and buy some chicken thighs for the sugar gliders. If I don't get them today, they won't run out but the prescription was ready yesterday, so I might as well get the other things while I'm out anyway. Probably laundry to do today. Dishwasher ran overnight and I put the clean dishes away this morning. Need to clean the cat bowls from yesterday.
    Hi Ed
It was a nice day yesterday, today is forecast to be warmer and it is also forecast to become warmer through the rest of the week.
Mr. Wolfe tries hot dogs in a can. Sounds not unlike Vienna sausages to me, so why not?
I agree, If the Vienna Sausages can work why not Hot Dogs AKA Frankfurters. I will be looking at the video shortly.

    Thank You for the Links

Howdy y'all. It's wonderful Wednesday! 71 with an expected high of 87 and 50% chance of rain. I did get out yesterday to buy the paper towels, chicken thighs for the sugar gliders (got some for me too) and pick up my prescription at Walgreen's.

Coincidentally, I had chicken for dinner, but not any of the newly purchased thighs. I roasted a large, split chicken breast half. While it was roasting I made some rice with minced bell pepper, minced onion, minced garlic, turmeric (for color mostly) and minced jalapeño (for spicy heat), made some cheese sauce, and, when the chicken and rice were both ready, shredded the meat, mixed everything together in a big bowl, and called it dinner. OK. I really called it Spicy, Cheesy, Fiesta Chicken and Rice, but that's quite a mouthful, so let's just call it dinner.

The leftovers will be called Lunch and probably Dinner again. The ratio of chicken and cheese to rice made this not nearly as carbohydrate laden as one might think, and it was certainly delicious. Still probably had a few more carbs than I really needed though.

Today I really am doing some laundry. Really! I promise. In fact, I'll get started on that as soon as I feed the cats. I also need to get yesterday's cat bowls cleaned so they'll be ready for tomorrow's cat feeding.

    Hi!!
The kids and the snacks were fun today! And the 'corn dogs' growing in their own habitat.....Well, Cat Tails, can be good...all parts are edible...but those corn dogs need to be good and dry, and then beaten into flour...not so good with mustard! LOL!!

I dunno know about the longer term car loans. I remember when car loans were 3 years...and every body was so against longer loans...you know the 5 year loans that are pretty much standard now???? Time will tell. If the cars out live the loan I'm guessing for many, that would be a good deal.

I've never used a whirly pop corn popper, and at home we used a skillet. My Dad loved his popped corn...with salt and butter...and we popped corn nearly every evening.

I got drowned yesterday (Tuesday)...coming home from Kroger. It started just as I left the building, and I was parked far, far away, and the storm quickly turned electrical...so there I was getting a bit damp, and hoping to get to my car without getting fried! I quickly noticed that I was taller than a lot of the cars....yikes!!! As you can see I made it to my car...and then all h3ll broke lose, as it quickly became a 'toad strangler' as my MIL used to say....there were times I could not see the road stripping...fortunately there was oddly very little traffic.

Atlanta is very proud of all their trees....I don't know if its county by county or what, but you are supposed to get an arborist to declare the tree(s) a danger...and I believe there is a 5 tree limit. I know Marietta was fussing because someone in her neighborhood cut a bunch of trees to clear an area behind their house. She could see it from her back deck...

My gym is closed this week, so they can replace the rubber flooring. I went to Duluth one day, and Lawrenceville-Suwanee the next. Checked the progress this afternoon...I really don't think they will have this done Friday...we'll see!!! So while I was there I enjoyed 10 minutes on one of the hydro-beds. That was wonderful!!! Started to walk down the street and that bratty little chihuahua thats about 2/3rds down the street came charging after me. Barking like a maniac!!! So it was a shorter walk than I'd anticipated. Did not meet my Fitbit walking goal, but that's ok. I go to Atlanta tomorrow for my hair trim, and may just drop in on one of the Planets while I'm in there. Interesting seeing the different clubs....

Ok, time to put the cat out....he's been really pissy about going back outside after dinner. Don't know what's gotten into him...or spooked him. But it makes getting him outside a hassle. Usually with him 'hissing' me. My brat child.

    Later...

    Hi
I'm back from walking and 0 cents. The Temperature out the door was 68 degrees. So far this week I have seen a single deer twice and a fox ran across the road ahead of me. It is warmer than yesterday, It was comfortable outdoors while walking with a lower humidity and a nice cooling breeze. We did have rain overnight around Midnight, The streets and sidewalks were starting to dry off when I left the house.

Something like that is needed with a thin metal pan. Sort of like the Jiffy Pop popcorn where You need to keep it moving to avoid burning it.

    Hi Valerie
I thought that the Corn Dogs one was creative

I remember three year car loans, and a five year car loan is to long IMO. You are paying way to much interest and I seem to recall heating about 6 year loans.
Around here they push Leases over buying, So You pay for the car and do not own it as I see it.

I cast iron pot would make a good popper. I use my brother cast iron skillet when I parch the sweet corn. I do need a lid as it can pop too.
I got drowned yesterday (Tuesday)...coming home from Kroger. It started just as I left the building, and I was parked far, far away, and the storm quickly turned electrical...so there I was getting a bit damp, and hoping to get to my car without getting fried! Toad strangler, I have not heard that used for a while

I have seen news links about people that cut down trees without proper permits and they were forced to to replace them with trees of the same size. That can be very expensive.
Rubber flooring, I would have thought could be replaced quicker than that.

I hate those little ankle biters, I do not recall ever seeing one that was not yapping.

I have a suspicion that there is some smell in the air that bother the cat, It is all I can think of that would cause that reaction.

Howdy y'all. It's fantastic Friday! 88 with an expected high of 90 and 20% chance of precipitation.

Been up since about 6:30 (Thanks, LILO!) but hope to go down for a nap soon. Didn't get to sleep very well and eventually took a pill.

Still need to fold that laundry and it still might get done today. I had to get out to buy mealworms for the sugar gliders, as they were near the end of their last can. I did get 4 cans so that should last them quite a while. While out I picked up a chicken meal at Publix. Lilo and Dinah (who got a few bites of chicken) approved heartily.

J may be coming back tonight for tomorrow's planned pool party about 45 minutes away from our home, but we'll see. I do need to do some cleaning up of the house too. Not sure if I have enough beans to make my usual baked beans and may have to create something else. I'll check in the morning and if not enough for the beans, I'll just let Eduardo out to see what he comes up with.

    Hello guys!
Ed, I hope your headache is gone today. I used to get horrid headaches...but they went away years ago with no help from me. I dunno know why.

Roger, all that equipment to move, old flooring to remove, then cleaning the floor because any little bit of 'stuff' under that rubberized flooring will cause issues later...and then they have to lay the flooring and return the gym 'furniture'. They are also reinforcing the cardio theater flooring. It really is a huge job and many many square feet. I'm thinking its over 14,000 sq. feet. (but need to check that number) I'm going to swing by there later today to see if they've reopened.
I got my steps in yesterday...Ted met me at Whole Foods, and we ate lunch and drove by his house to park his car, and put my chicken fried tofu in his refrigerator, then drove to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens...walked around there for 40 minutes. It was a bit warm, but really not to bad. Problem with going to the Gardens, is I always see plants I want for my yard!!! and my yard is already at near capacity!!! :)

Ok, news is over, rain maybe late this afternoon...meanwhile the load of laundry is now dry, and is mostly my gym clothes, so I'll get dressed and check the gym, or get dressed in my 'yard wear', and cut the faded flowers off my rose bushes, so they can bloom again in a couple weeks. Grass needs to be cut, but that is on tomorrows list!

    Later...
