Hi! Its honestly Morning...so. Good Morning
Feeling sad about the fire destruction of Notre-Dame. I haven't seen anything about the stained glass windows, Have you? It is all just sad. But, I'm glad it was an accidental fire, and not arson.
Heading for the gym shortly. Never got there yesterday.
Ted came out, and as part of my gift, I have $100 to spend on lawn...so yesterday I got herbs to pot up and eat all summer, and bags of mulch...will need more mulch, but its a start! Ted and I have very different ideas about 'gardening'..meaning my flower beds and the cohesiveness of the yard.... LOL!! (and I intend to keep laughing, as it IS my yard!)
Tom's sitting at the window and staring in at me...guess I need to let the little rascal back into the house..

Howdy all y'all. It's terrific Tuesday! I have been up for hours, but distracted by the usual. I have finished prepping the recycles, but still have the cat boxes and garbage to do. I'll roll them down to the curb later. The cats are disturbed by the noisy work being done outside in preparation for installing a sidewalk (that we'd rather not have) down the rest of our side of the street, including in front of our house. They shouldn't have as much to clear out in our section as the yards are fairly clear already in front.

The fire is a real shame, So far it is an accident unless something is uncovered when they investigate.
So far I have heard nothing about the Stained Glass Windows.
For some people the lawn is important and for others just something to keep looking OK. Think one that looks like a golf course for the first one.
It would so appear that Tom wants in.

I find that the internet is more than enough of a distraction. This is our week for recycling to be picked up on the every other week schedule that the County uses.

I got both the Frozen and Ready To Go NS foods delivered yesterday. So far I have checked in the frozen and it has two items short. Howdy all y'all. It's wonderful Wednesday! It's supposed to be pretty warm here, with no chance of rain. The lawn crew is out there now, so the cats are all in a stew, except Lilo, as she's been hearing them for many years.
Yesterday, with all the grinding, cutting of trees, etc., Kiara was so upset she didn't eat any of her kibble until after I went to bed. She did eat most of it overnight though.
I need to get to the store for canned cat food today, or tomorrow at the latest. Probably today, as it sounds like a great day for getting out.

Good Morning!
I just had an Evil thought! Instead of going back and 'fixing' errors as I type, I could just leave them, and you all can make a game out of deciphering them! LOL!! (that would be really mean!...)
Going to be very nice here today...leaving for gym very shortly...then planting the herbs I bought on Monday...and maybe a few house chores??? Well, the chores get done either today or tomorrow at least!
Nothing new today. I have a couple of the video's to watch...I didn't realize until I read Roger's post that Emmy's hot dog was on a 'Twinkie" bun...I recognized the canned cheese and was ready to take a pass at that point...on a Twinkie?? I've been hungry in my life, but Never. That. Hungry!!!!! LOL!
Coffee's cold, breakfast eaten, time to get in motion!

Howdy all y'all. It's thrilling Thursday! Roger hasn't posted so I hope he's just catching up on sleep, and that all went well at the doctor yesterday.
Should be a nice day here with no chance of rain.

Good Morning, again..wow several days in a row!
I watched the video Dumb Food. I laughed out loud, a lot!!! I don't think I've ever seen this guy, but he is funny!
My 'yard guy' aka Ted will be here shortly. He's giving me time to not only wake, but also to enjoy my coffee in peace. Pretty good for an unpaid yard guy!
Roger my thoughts about lawns...1. they use more resources than food crops..(read water, fertilizer, bug killers, ) and most of that is over zealously applied and run off into our streams and rivers. And I like a more 'natural' look. Not a fan of perfectly clipped shrub, and such. But, that's just me.
Tom's outside for most of the day. I think he's happy with that. (If he wasn't he'd be at a door yowling his lungs out!)
Need to get a chore or two done before Lawn guy, and after that, a trip to the gym, and O has gymnastics tonite. Not many of those left, so will go 'savor' the bouncing, flipping, etc. And...Jack says to get ready for FootBall Season...???? O made the Flag Corps!
Later...
Umm, I missed Roger also...hope all is well.0 -
Good Morning..
Its a dark, wet, and loud! morning! Thunder boomers sometime in the night woke even me!! And thats loud!
I think we're stuck with this all day? I really want to go to the gym. Will check the weather maps to see if I can find a respite from the rain and lightening.
So, now I don't see Roger or Ed...weirdness.

No power since 5:00. Staying mostly off grid for now.0

Thanks Ed.
Glad you're ok, and just conserving your battery life! I think I can charge mine from my car...I need to check that out so should I ever need it I know!!
All well at my house...except for a cat that goes from front door to back door again and again...only to see the rain, and not go out. Poor little furry thing...he looks at me like its my fault!!!

Well our power was out for just over 8 hours. First world problems, right? Breakfast was a can of tuna, with some crackers. Lunch was crunchy peanut butter on...you guessed it, crackers! Even worse, I had to stay where I would hear a knock at the door as we were expecting two FedEx packages that each needed a signature, and no electric for the doorbell. When the wine arrived, I was disappointed to find that both packages were not even on the same truck and I was still chained to the front door. First world problems...
I wish we had some kind of contact info for Roger! I hope he's OK.

Howdy all y'all. It's satisfying Saturday! Cooler today, after yesterday's storms, which included an early morning tornado warning. About 25,000 customers were powerless when I first checked, and that number kept dropping all day until finally, shortly after 1:00 p.m. our power came back. Not too long after that I took a nap. There were a couple of flickers later, but no more actual outages so I only had to reset the microwave and stove clocks that once. Looks like it may be rainy most of today so don't know if I will get out at all or not.

Good Saturday Morning.
Tornado warnings last night? I knew Friday night, but must have slept thru the one last night. Fortunately I didn't blow away, or wake up with a pine tree in my bed. Hmmm. I see half an inch of new rain in the rain gauge. Guess I slept thru that too!!
Remember Ed, when you wore different 'hats' ? As chef's hat, chauffeur's hat, etc. Well, today I have lined up my 'hats' Rather impressive row of hats! Now, I'll bet not all of them end up being worn!
I too wish we had some kind of contact info for Roger. This is not at all like him. I know he was also on another NS thread, but I have no idea what its called. Hopefully his brother will be able to get into this thread and post some info for us. I'll say what I used to say when I had a staff member go MIA...."hope he's in jail". Sounds harsh, but at least if he/she was in jail, I'd know they were alive and would surface sooner or later.
One of my hats today, is a Kroger hat. ugh. But I think I'll look at that spring tart you posted this morning before I leave the house. Its beautiful!

Good Morning. Beautiful sunny Easter Morning here...a bit windy...
A day for reflection. Happy Easter Ed, and Roger (when you get back)
Cancelled my trip to the Botanical Garden. Just not feeling it...and I know it will be crowded...will go later this week and enjoy the beauty of these gardens.
I'd just moved here when they built the big glass Fuqua Conservatory. TV channel 11 ran weekly reports, peeks at, side stories about the conservatory, plants, etc. Yep, will pick a 'more quiet' day to visit.
I think I hear a nap????
