Good Morning Ed,
I have 2 Emmy vids and several from today to watch...that and the never ending work of emptying out the front rooms and giving the bathroom a final polish. (that can wait til near last) First is to get all this stuff into trash, or Good Will, or Filed....I have until Oct 31, but prefer to have it completed by 10-27.
I have a pot full of photos to store. Have the proper boxes, but want to notate many of them..they're family pix, and remove the ones in frames, saving out maybe half dozen to put into my room.
and, and, and. This room has mostly been a 'collection' room for 20 years...YIKES!
I'm so glad the temps have become more 'Fall-ish'...late summer/early fall season was miserable!
Out to the gym, maybe. I may just get my cardio minutes in here at the house. Who knows, maybe some day I'll learn to actually like this recumbent bike. Although I think if I get somebody to help, the bike is going to the curb. Takes up too much room. If my Planet Fitness was farther away, it would make sense to keep it, but...0.9 miles to the gym...makes no sense to keep it. Is this paragraph confusing enough? Synopsis...the recumbent bike goes. Will curb it by end of month.
Just paid my Property Taxes...ouch. And the biggest ouchie is the $14 additional bucks I paid to make the payment via Credit Card!?!?!? $14 ????. I must be nuts. convenience charge they call it?!? really???
Oh well, I made some vegan, and delicious pimento cheese sauce this morning. Tasty stuff. Will be fantastic on that head of cauliflower I'm going to steam today.

Howdy all y'all. It's sumptuous Sunday! High of only 71 expected, with 80% chance of rain. We could use the rain so bring it on. There is nowhere else I HAVE to be today, so unless something comes up or a friend needs help, I can stay home. Rainy or cloudy days are great for naps!

Good Morning!
my big rain so far is 0.07. Long way to go for even an inch of rain! Dark Sky, my weather app, is usually pretty accurate. Last night it was a fail...twice when I woke it said I was getting rain...would look outdoors, nope, driveway still dry...rain gauge still 0.00. Even the tv weather persons were saying overnight rain, and in our area 1-3 inches of rain...HA!
Off in just a bit for Alpharetta, Sweet Tomatoes, for lunch with my niece Leslie. Looking forward to seeing her. Its been a couple months. (Sept. was hectic for her, starting her new teaching position, getting both the kids settled in their new routines, etc. I remember those days!!)
Enjoy your nap. I may miss mine today...gym, and more work on this front room. Then I looked at the bathroom with a critical eye this morning...hmmm stuff under sink, shower liner needs wash, etc. That will have to wait til next week!
Also last week in Oct. back on the 'may be' called for Solicitors Court, state vs the guy who ran the red light...does this Ever End???

Howdy all y'all. It's marvelous Monday! Slept in a bit this morning. My sleep was interrupted in the wee hours by waking up, not feeling all that well, and having to sit up for half an hour or so. Cool and a bit humid outside, but it feels nice. I need to feed the cats in a while and get out to Walgreen's to pick up refills on my diabetic testing supplies. Hoping for a nap this afternoon!

Howdy all y'all. It's terrific Tuesday! 50% chance of rain sometime after noon, with an expected high of only 68. Not a lot on the agenda for today. Maybe I will get out for an item or two. I have given Lilo her Tuesday shot. Kiara seems to have gotten over whatever was making her sneeze so much. Clyde is pretty active in the evenings and early morning, and seems to be doing OK. I never got any response to my one query regarding an available female for a new companion so it's looking, for the moment, like we can save that $150 anyway.

I had a heck of a time finding this today. I have it 'location saved' and it usually opens right up...but NO...Today if went to the general NS website??? And it did not have the option even after I'd logged in... I found it by searching for you, Ed!!! Computers are weird things!
And my morning is swiftly running away...
Agenda today is gym, and more sorting, and tossing, recycling, donating stuff.
I have about half of that done. Ted came out yesterday, and brought a bunch of his stuff, moved my bakers rack, my marble top table, etc...
So, progress is slow, but happening.
Will get back here later...just wanted to say good morning!

Howdy all y'all. It's wonderful Wednesday! 61 out there now with an expected high of 68 and 20% chance of rain. Today I really will get my diabetic testing supplies at Walgreen's. They were out of the test strips, but fortunately let me know of the delay prior to my going to get the lancets that were ready, saving me the extra trip.
I heard a thump a bit ago. This isn't at all unusual, since we have 4 cats! 3 of them were in here with me, and I found the 4th, but couldn't see any reason for the thump. This, too, isn't terribly unusual with 4 cats...it may have just been Dinah jumping down from somewhere.

Good Morning Ed!
Looks like I will have a pretty dry trip to ATL today. Will probably meet with Ted...maybe at his apt, to see how his packing etc. is going. (can't tell I may even be useful)
A bit more rain today when I woke.. Its a long slow process, but in many ways a Good slow drizzly rain. Will actually get into the ground, and not much run off! My fall plants are loving it for sure!
I don't think I know too much more news. Jack and I did have a good chat yesterday..and I may/may not see Nate play LaCross Sunday. He's away this weekend at a church retreat..so it will depend on when they actually get back to North Point, and most importantly, how he feels.

Holy moly y'all! It's thrilling Thursday and it's 44 degrees out there! Looking for a high of only 65 with no chance of precipitation. I seem to remember there being something I might have needed to go out and buy but think I covered about all of it yesterday.
Last night a friend came over to watch a movie, and since he works late hours at a game and bowling place, the evening wrapped around into morning but I did get to bed before 2:00. Normally I turn into a pumpkin at midnight but I managed, after having a longish nap in the afternoon.
I even managed to get through "movie night" without any extra snacks, as he didn't want anything (I did offer) and I just drank water.
I definitely want a nap today too. LOL.

Busy day...more moving stuff around, Sorting thru my prints and paintings, most are going to be donated...keeping one or two..Also doing a lot of laundry today..not sure how I managed to amass so much...
I really should go get my hearing aids...that was I could really hear the news...on the other hand, I might be happier just not paying any attention.

I roasted 2 pans of fall veggies this morning, ate a bunch...then undid all my good eats by eating a bowl of popped corn and 3 pieces of chocolate bar for lunch....I just caved.......planning to do better tomorrow. (and at dinner tonite).
The oven roasting the veggies felt good in the house today. Wonder what I'll bake tomorrow, when its supposed to be equally as chilly???? Of course, I COULD turn on the heat...but that would be just too easy, right?

Howdy all y'all. It's fantastic Friday! 43 out there with an expected high of 69 and no chance of precipitation. There is a nap on the agenda, at least hopefully. Nothing critical on the shopping list. I made a crock full of beef stew yesterday so have several meals out of that to go and I have plenty of Romaine for salad, along with a few expensive vine ripened tomatoes. And there is high fiber, low carb whole wheat bread and some deli sliced turkey and ham if i just want a sandwich, or, perhaps, a half serving of stew and half a sandwich for a "soup and sandwich" lunch.
You might want to turn the heat on, briefly, just to make sure it works! I made that test yesterday.

Sounds like you've got a perfect day! Good food, no immediate needs to go out, and dinner's ready to heat and eat! Oh, and a great nap!
I was thinking about turning on the heat for a few..as Roger would say, to take the chill off. Making sure it works is another good excuse for a bit of heat, it is 64 in here, and IMO that's cold!!
Gym is my only destination today. Maybe a stop at Publix if I feel the need for a lottery ticket...
Raising the rest of my coffee cup brew in a toast to both of us for a simple, stress free, enjoyable day! Cheers!

Good Saturday Morning!
53 out there this morning...and rain should show up within the hour, so says Dark Sky, my weather app.
Ted bringing another load of his belongings this morning. We, I still have to decide what to do with the hated but useful exercise bike.... and I have a few shirts to remove from the closet. (it was nice having an extra closet to shuffle clothes with the seasons.)
So as you can see, making space for Ted is my main focus right now.
Need to make that Publix run that I didn't make yesterday..lottery ticket was not the important item I needed...Cat Food! One last large can for today, and Tom E. would get quite hungry if I don't go shopping!
Did you look at Mike's email from yesterday? The pix of the kitten and the guinea pig...that cavy looks just like my last piggy...Miss Ellie! She was a Christmas gift, and she arrived 'maybe pregnant'...and indeed in Feb, she delivered 4 little piggies while I was at work one night. I already had homes for them, as they are able to reproduce very soon...and one pig is fun, a house full...maybe not so much! Miss Ellie lived to be 15 years old! She was a hoot! (more like she whistled when she wanted attention!,, or heard the refrigerator door open and close.)

It's been drizzly rainy all day, and quite cool. Stew for breakfast and I had a sandwich and salad for lunch. In a while I'll be assembling a salad from the last of the Romaine and the last tomato. That, and the last of the stew will be my supper and then back to my horror movie marathon!

Howdy all y'all. It's sumptuous Sunday! 58 with a high of 75 expected, and no chance of precipitation. I may get out for canned cat food today. If I don't go today, I will have to go for that tomorrow regardless, and today looks like a good day for it. A nap this afternoon would be lovely, but that may not happen.
Apparently another sugar glider has been obtained, but I may have to do a little roadwork this afternoon or evening to finish getting it home, as it's currently in Kentucky, about halfway between Louisville and Frankfort. I might have to meet someone half way. It's also possible it may stay there for a few more days. It's another male that had no sugar glider companion. They might not like each other at first, but we can keep them separated for a while so that they can interact through a steel barred barrier but not really fight. The name for the new one has not been fully selected as yet. I just hope he is getting enough of the right nutrients in the interval. I will adjust as necessary when he's here.

My Amazon package, that has Ted's birthday gift ( for Friday 10-25) was not delivered as promised by the USPS. I have the worst luck with this interaction every time the package gets delivered 'for' Amazon by the post office. Enough to make me grit my teeth and say naughty 'kitten' words!! Out loud even!
It has been a nice day. Warm sun, little breezy, Thats day 3 of the fall variety. The other two happened weeks ago! LOL!
Olivia's cell phone seems to be down for 2 days now. I'm afraid to ask what she's done THIS time. She's kinda got parents over a barrel...as she NEEDS the iPhone for her insulin pump....and to track her bs numbers. I'm sure I'll find out Tuesday when Jack calls!!!
Still working on getting the front room in order. I should be there by Wednesday. Cross your fingers!...So much to shred, or file, so its piece by piece...and then there are about 30 framed family pix...Not even sure what I'm going to do about them...then there are the things going to Good Will before gym tomorrow...etc. Oh well. It needs to be done, and I'm sure I'll be happy when its all done.
