I posted more humor today, Enjoy

    Hi
I did more walking this Morning. The temperature this morning was 23 on the porch and 25 on the cable channel. As I was walking I could feel the cold through my sweatshirt under my Hoodie and my nose felt the cold too.

The Weather forecast from Friday for a overnight low in the 20s for overnight was correct :(
I got out for fruit Friday and Picked up a 5 pound box of Tangerines and a 3 pound bag of Fuji Apples.

With the colder weather arriving last night was the first night since Last Spring that I felt the need to leave the heat turned on.

I have Skinless Boneless Chicken Breasts in the freezer, My next decision is how to cook them, Have my Brother pick up a can of Cream of Mushroom and pour it over them before baking or Open a can of Tomato sauce and Turn them into Chicken Parm :)

Good morning. Yay! Sunshine today, though it's only supposed to hit a high of 39 today. Yep, 20 overnight....glad hubs got all the planting done and we've taken in our summer plants. Had a busy day yesterday...painting class, out to lunch with some of the ladies, then dropped off hubs' car for a recall fix, then went to Wegman's to stock up on the few things we get there. Also stopped at Marshalls and found a nice soft longsleeve sleepshirt for MIL. Glad to have no plans for today...maybe a walk.
    Happy Friday, everyone. :)

    Hi Vix
I did put the Geraniums in on the closed in porch, It still got cold there overnight. The third one is on the floor of the Laundry Room.

Friday weather was somewhat weird in the as the day progressed it got colder rather than warmer despite the sunshine. The heating season has arrived :(

I generally tend to wing it for the days plans.
    You keep Busy :)

    Good morning!
It's 20 here at the moment, supposed to go up to 42 today. But we've got sunshine and blue skies which is an improvement. :)
Went for a walk in the park yesterday...it was chilly.
You've really gotten a lot done, Irene!
Jo, what are you remodeling now? I hope things get better. Enjoy your day off.
    Hi Roger!
    Happy Saturday!

The Sun is shining here too and I see a light layer of clouds with plenty of Blue Sky. I could see sharp contrails in the sky when I looked up while walking. Some days the planes go overhead really low heading in to land or from takeoff and some days they are up there. As the crow flies we are not that far fro Newark Airport and Kennedy and Laguardia Airports in NY are not that much further away.

I could feel the cold today, I had the heated gloves on high and that helped.

    Have a Nice Day

Good morning, well I have been a little busy. We got tired of waiting for the plumber that George went and bought plumber take for leaks so far so good we will probably replace the pipe before we put it up for sale. We plan on putting it up for sale around spring time. Good news is the sunroom is pretty much done .I have decided instead of painting all the wood work after all the walls are done this way I won't have to keep going back to different colors. It really is looking nice my bathroom is all finished ,the deck is done also our shed is all painted and the back wash in the kitchen is finish so it has been a busy 2 weeks the only thing left is the storm door

    Hi Irene
Depending on where the leak is I have used a metal sleeve with a rubber lining that clamps over the leak and has screws to tighten it up to fix a small leak. The leak was a no longer used tap in the water pipe to a ice cube maker. This let me remove the tap and fix it plumber free.

If the Pipe is visible You will likely fail inspection by the buyers and as a temporary fix it should be fixed anyway. Hopefully it is not to cold to paint the Storm Door.
good morning, I haven't gone walking yet but I will It is like 22 out side a little on the chilly side. Not much is planned for this weekend need to do some food shopping and help George with the leaves we have a lot of trees so needless to say we have a lot of leaves. Jo enjoy your day off. Hi vix and Roger stay warm everyone.

We have a lot of leaves and no trees on the property :( Yesterday They were blowing around in the breeze so it did not seem to make sense to rake them as the neighbors leaves would just blow in to replace them :)

    Stay Warm

Irene-Wow, you have been busy. It must feel good to have everything almost finished. Good luck with the sale of the house.
    Vix-How is your MIL doing?
    Hi Roger.
It was 23 degrees when I got up this morning. I opted not to work today, as it is a holiday here and not mandatory.
The remodel is becoming a nightmare. Fixtures are not being delivered on time and this has set us back. Everything is covered in dust and this is only the beginning. :#
Have a wonderful day and stay warm.
    Hi Joanne
There is a Veterans day parade in New York City today, I do wonder how well attended it will be due to the cold...

if I said Your remodel is going as well as many of them seem to do...

I do not blame You for skipping work since You can

    And yet more humor

    Hi
I did more walking this Morning. The temperature this morning was 26 on the porch and 29 on the cable channel. Just like yesterday as I was walking I could feel the cold through my sweatshirt under my Hoodie and my nose felt the cold too.
The Weather forecast for Friday for a overnight low in the 20s for overnight cold was correct and records for overnight temperatures were broken Friday Morning :(
There was another record low broken in at least one area this morning according to the weather forecast I saw.

If it stays cold like this I will have to start with two Sweatshirts under my Hoodie, nothing like feeling & looking like the Michelin Man :)

I always left the leaves, However they bother my brother and starting when we planted fig trees we now collect them and use them around the Fig Trees.

The tree across the street and next door have lost most of their leaves, The one in the yard behind the backyard still has most of the leaves as it is a different species.

    Hi Vix
Today, Monday, I left the house walked two houses down the street and reversed back to the house as it was starting to sprinkle. I put on the rain jacket over my Sweatshirt and Hoodie and was happy I had done so as during the walk the rain kept slowly increasing in intensity.

While I was out walking I stopped at the local grocery store and picked up a sleeve of garlic for my brother and some 99 cent four once packs of Turkey and Ham @ 40 calories a slice to use in my midmorning snacks.

    Hi Irene
Around here we have been lucky enough to be able to get a plumber if needed same day or next day since usually same day service costs more :)

The last two visits were for a really small gas leak at the furnace that we decided to get fixed later rather than sooner, It was a really small leak. I sprayed the possible areas of leakage with a soap solution and it turned out to be a shut off valve leaking. It turns out that the type of valve involved is no longer allowed for that use due to eventually developing a leak. The latest instance was a clogged drain pipe that served the Bathtub and Kitchen Sink, That was not a critical matter either as it did not involve the main Sewage line.

Those destructive pests AKA Deer are tough critters, I am not surprised it was OK and the car damaged.

I would tell You to have a Good Day, except that You will be painting so...

If I said I would not turn down the Lambo is it were a gift...
Now if they could come up with a car that does its own maintenance and mechanical repairs.

No Sun today as it is cloudy, OTOH only a 10% chance of rain for today and tomorrow in last nights forecast :)
The No Sun works for me since otherwise I need to have a Sun Visor with me or suffer heading into it a some point during my walks.
