    Hi
I was out walking again this Morning + 1 Cent. The temperature this morning was 40 on the porch and 44 on the cable channel. There was no wind when I left the house and it started blowing gently as I was walking. I also saw two groups of Deer crossing the road ahead of me, 2 in the first group and then a minute later a little further down the road 5 more.

I stopped at the Grocery Store for Bananas and they were riper than I wanted as they have to last for days so I stopped at the produce store where they were more to my liking. I also picked up a 99 cent Raspberries, D'Anjou Pears and Red Plums.

    Good morning;
Yesterday my daughter and I went to a Christmas craft show. We didn't buy anything, but had fun. We also walked around, so my daughter could take pictures. She has been taking photography classes and wanted to practice.
I had in over 17,000 steps.
Today we are decorating and watching the football game. I went through all the decorations that I had stored in the attic and now have a big pile to give to goodwill. I had 4 artificial trees in varying sizes in the attic. I am getting rid of all but one.
    Have a good day!

Interesting that you mentioned having over 17,000 steps, I went out a second time and was somewhere over that amount of steps for the day too :)

Strange You don't want to set up a mini Christmas forest on the lawn with them instead :)

Way back when I was in school the Photography class included taking pictures and developing Your film in the Schools Photo lab. I was lucky enough to be able to reload the 35mm cartridges from a reel of bulk B&W film which saved significant money I really did not have as back then kids did not get all the money they seem to get these days.

    Anyway,have a good day

Roger-I found a penny yesterday. The book I got from the movie theater was Little Bigfoot, Big City by Jennifer Weiner. I have a few books that I am reading at the moment, so it will be a while until I get to it.
I got all my errands out of the way this morning, now I just have to bring Vinny to the vet for his rabies shot.
They didn't give it to him last time, because he wasn't feeling well.

Congratulations on Your NS Foods Savings. I was disappointed with my order as I wanted to try the new Pork Tenderloins Entree and they substituted for it.

I hope You have better luck than someone posted regarding their experience with Lowes where they ordered a Dishwasher and paid. The Lowes got in touch and said it was out of stock and after back and forth they never offered any type of make good so she went to Sears.

    Hi Joanne
Congratulations on Your find, Money has been sparse since the cold weather set in.
When I read that the saying a Penny saved is a penny earned popped into my head. A simple search showed this
What's the origin of the phrase 'A penny saved is a penny earned'?

The original form of this proverb used 'got' or 'gained' instead of 'earned'. That is recorded as early as the 17th century, in George Herbert's Outlandish Proverbs, circa 1633:

A penny spar'd is twice got.

    British penny coin
The notion appears to have been that, by declining to spend a penny and to save one's money instead, you are a penny up rather than a penny down, hence 'twice got'

I have a Lot of books that I have not started reading too.

I hope all went well with Vinny at the Vet.

Good luck and I hope You have a easy day at work, 5 Days off and I never felt like going back :)

    Cheers

    It was quite warm today.
I have an appt. at Urgent Care at 4:45 today. I am itchy and have patchy welts on most of my body. I have no idea what could have caused it. I haven't changed soap, shampoo or laundry detergent. I haven't eaten anything unusual.
    A mystery.
Irene-Vinny is doing better. I have to do another blood glucose curve on him next Monday and report it to the vet.
I have a meter that tests his blood. I have to take it first thing in the morning and then 2 hours later and then every hour for the next 10 hours. His poor little ears will be sore. :(

    Good morning;
I went to the Dr. yesterday and was put on Prednisone for 5 days and Pepcid and told to take Benadryl as needed for the itches. The Dr. thought it was an allergic reaction from something I ate or came into contact with. The rash wasn't on my legs, arms or face. He told me to stay at home today because the Benadryl would make me drowsy.
Most of the rash has subsided except on my torso and I am not as itchy.

    Hi Joanne
I have a suspicion that something You ate or use had a formulation change. My Brother buys Hypoallergenic Cleaning Products, Main reason being he hates anything in that line that has a scent and they seem to be neutral smelling.

Poor Vinny, I wondered where You would draw blood on a dog, Now I know.

That rash coverage seems to me to indicate a laundry product ?

It sounds as if the Prednisone is the main item helping. I took a product like Benadryl one year when there was something in the air that triggered allergies. I was at work and suddenly I was having a real problem staying awake, Not good when You had to close and count the till at the end of the day and then drive home.

Referring back to the Joggers I saw, One of them I see when I get out early enough was a customer of mine when I was working :)

    Good Luck with the Rash

    Hi Irene
Amazon has locations all over the world from what I can see.
Plenty in Europe as an example.

From reading that article how can a human being pack that quick day after day?

I have never been in a Longhorn steak house although there is one nearby. I can get a Nice Steak at a within walking distance Texas Weiner on the that days menu. The Steaks from the Local Diner are tasty too and pair well with theit Onion Rings, Ouch, making myself hungry for one.

I need to be careful today since tomorrow is lunch with a friend or friends at a Thai Restaurant. Followed by the Christmas and New Years Day traditional Family Feast. Ham for Christmas and From the Freezer left of Ham and Thanksgiving Turkey that gets Vacuum Sealed the next day. There is even vacuum sealed Sweet Potatoes and Turkey Stuffing.

    Enjoy Your Lunch

    More humor again

    Hi
I was out walking again this Morning. The temperature this morning was 37 on the porch and 45 on the cable channel. I did see a bit of frost on the cars down by the brook while I was walking.

    Welcome to December :)

FWIW there was a news item on last nights network news.

Sorry, Garfield: Science says dogs are smarter than cats

Half of you will love this, and half of you will hate it: An international team of scientists says its research strongly suggests that dogs are smarter than cats.

A paper accepted this week for publication in the journal Frontiers in Neuroanatomy reports that dogs' brains have more than twice as many cortical neurons — the cells linked to thinking, planning and complex behavior — than cats' brains do.
