I have posted more humor once again.

    Hi
I'm back from walking and I went out running around with my brother and as a reward I found a folded dollar bill in a parking lot. The temperature out the door was 62 degrees under a clear sky. The forecast is for nice if somewhat warm weather through Saturday.

I agree that today looks to be another really nice day if warm enough that I shall be running the AC later on. For now I have a Window open in the back off the house and the front door open to create a exchange of air through the house.

good morning, had a nice long walk this morning. Got my 10k steps in. Today we are having mulch delivered so you know what I will be doing this weekend. I don't mind mowing it always looks so nice and in Trenton it doesn't take long Roger. Hi Vix and Jo . Oh I have an otter box for my phone it protects from dropping and water.
    Hi Irene
Good work with the steps. We had mulch delivered a couple of years back, since then we just buy it on sale in bags.
The Lowes circular shows that for their Memorial Day sale mulch is 5 bags for $10 so we will be heading that way to pick up more when the sale starts.

Water is the enemy, Is the otter box a true box or a waterproof skin ?

Here is a question for You, When I was out running around with my brother Thursday I noticed that some of the gas stations had a price of $3.09 per gallon. That was the highest I saw, What sort of prices are You seeing.

    Have a nice Day

    Hi
I'm back from walking and found 15 cents in two locations. The other day I saw three deer walking up the brook in the water and this morning I had one deer cross the street ahead of me.

    Good morning;
Yesterday I had to take Vinny to the vet. His blood sugar was really low. They kept him all morning, giving him IV glucose. They close at 1 on Sat, so I then had to bring him to a 24/7
animal hospital a few towns away. They are keeping him for a few days to get his glucose number up and observe him. They told me that diabetic cats can stop having diabetes.
Also on Friday, we had the gas man come to change the meter. It has to be done every so often by law. He found a small gas leak in one of the elbow joints. He was able to change the meter, but had to shut the gas off until the leak was fixed. It being a long weekend, the plumber can not come until Tuesday or Wednesday. So we have no hot water and no stove.
Luckily we can use the grill, microwave and toaster oven.
What a great start to our vacation.
Sorry for being so long winded.
On the bright side I did get a few choirs done that I had been putting off and went for a three mile walk with my daughter.
    Have a great day! :)

It does not always pay to drive any distance to save on fuel prices IMO. The last news report I saw indicated a average price of $3 a gallon for gas :(

I wonder if the recall from Chrysler, Fiat, Jeep has any real effect. I know I use the heck out of the cruise control on the Buick and I used it all the time in the Pontiac it replaced. I use it to hold 25MPH in town on the streets where that is posted as the Police regularly set up on those roads.

I have not had that problem with squirrels, I wonder if they were going after something in the ground where You planted, I see them digging at the lawn sometimes.

    Hi Joanne
I wonder what happened to cause the low blood sugar, At least You caught it.

That Stinks, I guess doing without hot water and stove is better than blowing up.
We had a small gas leak that turned out to be near the furnace, I had smelled it occasionally for quite a while before I found it. It was not a strong smell and only now and then. I may have been taking a bit of a risk with it. It turned out to be the gas shut off valve on the furnace and according to the plumber no longer allowed to be used as in time they started leaking.

At least we would be able to use the oven as it is electric vs the Stove top which is gas, We could use the small grill too, not a real fun thing to do in rainy or cold weather.

Hopefully You have a good Holiday anyway.

Sorry about Vinny, Jo. Hope he feels better soon. Good that they found the gas leak. Our house is the same...gas for hot water, heat, and stove. Is your daughter close enough that you can shower at her house? That's what we did when our hot water heater was out (my daughter's house or the gym). Maybe go out for a night in the city and go to a hotel? Enjoy your vacation.

    Hi
I'm back from walking and found no cents. The Temperature out the door was 56 degrees. It is a nice enough day outside, According to the weather forecast I saw last night one part of NJ had 6 inches of rain in 12 hours. Our rain was a lower amount. South of where I am the rain lasted longer and there were many roads closed due to flooding. I also wonder how many Parades were rescheduled due to the rain ?

If I am remembering correctly Your water heater was disabled due to a bad fan on the exhaust. Our old style that has no electric connection kept working through Sandy's long power outage so at least I could shower and had hot water to wash the dishes. A match to light the burners and we could cook too. It could have been worse.

As far as I am concerned Yard work and garden work are chores, Lucky Pete.

Hopefully things went well for You Sunday.

Ellicott City got flooded again...was flooded 2016 and some businesses had just recovered.
Really awful, with more rain on the way.

No plans for today. Have a good one. Stay safe if you're in flood areas.
    Hi Vix
Not great weather. We saw Video of the flooding in Ellicott City, Sad. The streets looked more like a small river.

    Good morning.
Another foggy, drizzly morning. Just supposed to be cloudy today with temps up to 84.
Nice to have shed space, Irene. Hope you found a good one.
Off to stained glass and clay today. Happy Tuesday!

Today is not a great looking day so far and it is supposed to get into the 80s which will likely not be comfortable due to it feeling humid.

Later today or tomorrow a trip to Lowes is planned to buy 10 bags of mulch which is on sale until the 30th at a decent price of 5 for $10.

    Enjoy Your classes

Good morning, went for our walk got in 8 k steps which is OK I will get the rest during the day. We might go for a ride later George wants to get a new storage shed for outside we are looking at a wooden one we have a metal one know but we have too many toys so we need more space maybe have one for our summer stuff and one for the winter stuff like snow blowers and generator and all the stuff that goes with it . well take care Jo so glad Vinny is doing good tell Pete I also like doing planting and playing in the yard Hi Roger and Vix

    Hi Irene
Another nice walk. I prefer wood myself, the metal ones just seem to be too light where they need to be well anchored. One nice sized wood shed works for us FWIW.

    Have a Good Day

    Good morning;
It is 77 and sunny here. I am waiting for the plumber to come. So far today I have weeded 3 of my flower beds and cleaned 3 bird baths.
I am also waiting for the vet to call. I hope Vinny can come home today.
    Have a great day. :)

And yet more humor is posted

    Hi
I'm back from walking and found 1 cent. The Temperature out the door was 69 degrees. It is a nice enough day outside with a overcast sky. There is rain in the forecast later today.

Yesterday was hot for May with parts of NJ in the low 90s.

We had two (Three) power outages last night, The first 10:58 the second and third around midnight. That contributed to my posting late today :(

    Hi Irene
I had the mist in the air, I could barely see the top the nearby mountains and they are not all that high.

The darn grass is growing much to fast to make me happy.

    Congratulations on the walking.

    Hi Joanne
You are a ball of energy, yesterday we did pick up 10 bags of mulch that are on sale through today. It appears that we need more so possibly later today. Then some weeding and trimming, Cleaning the Grill I used Monday on the Hamburger that was on sale.

    Good Luck with the Plumber

Good Luck bringing Vinny home today.
