    Some more humor is posted

    Hi
I'm back from walking and no cents. The temperature this morning was 59 degrees. Last nights fog that was building when I retired for the evening is gone and there was some rain overnight. When I left everything was wet so I put on the rain jacket, just in case, I ended up taking it off as it was not raining and I was feeling overly warm inside of it. It did start with a light drizzle as I neared the house, I did not bother putting the rain jacket back on.

    Hi Vix
Yesterday was wet into the afternoon then it dried up

I do want to got to the Dollar Tree for a couple of quart boxes of the long shelf life milk as I am now using the last of the ones from my pantry shelf. So that is one stop and then onto the Whole Foods of ShopRite for Bananas and whatever might catch my eye as a good priced Fruit. Possibly a Cauliflower or Celery as a Snack item.

Other than that I have no plans for the day
    Cheers

    Hi Irene
It was not a great day yesterday for walking when I went out, However I did do a decent distance anyway. The old spare pair of shoes I wore are drying out and today I wore the newer less worn one I usually walk in.

FWIW I have tried a couple of the Limited time foods, My take on them below

    Chipotle Black Bean Bowl
Pros, Not Hot and only 200 calories as a Dinner Entree and low Carb at a Total Carbohydrate 19g,
Negative was the taste, Bleh, bland and not anything I will reorder. Ti my taste buds the Lunch Entree dry cup Black Beans & Rice which is 210 calories and High carb at a Total Carbohydrate 40g is tastier.

I also tried the Chipotle Beef and Broccoli Bowl
Much more heat near my limit for heat in food but tastier and still a decent carb level at a Total Carbohydrate 23g and 270 calories. I will reorder it if it is still available when my next order processes.

    Good Luck with the House

    Good morning.
Rained again all day yesterday and last night, still kind of gray out though not currently raining. I got fresh veggies yesterday, but may go today or tomorrow to the other supermarket to get frozen veggies. Funny how much of a difference in price. Other than grocery shopping, I was very lazy yesterday. Have to motivate and do a little more today!
    Happy Sunday. :)

    Good afternoon;
Just finished catching up with everyone.
I managed to drop my phone and smash the screen. When I went to get it fixed, I was told it also had water damage. I had forgotten that I got it wet a while back, so they wouldn't fix it.
I was told I could get a replacement, so that is what I did. All my info was backed up to the cloud, but I couldn't remember my passwords. So long story short, I sent a good part of the last 3 days getting my phone, ipad and laptop back in working order.
Irene-I am happy to hear Annie is doing so well.
Vix-good luck with the gut healing protocol. It is always something as we get older. ;)
Roger- It has been raining so much here, that I haven't been able to do much gardening.
I have some plants to be planted and beds to be edged and weeded. Hopefully, I will be able to get some done this week after work.
    Enjoy your Sunday. :)

    Hi Vix
Even when it was only 72 degrees Sunday Morning it felt warm outside, Humidity related is my guess. It had rained overnight and a few stray drops fell around 9:45AM and that was it for the day. I did end up running the AC as it got up into the 80s.

I find that overall the ShopRite has decent prices for frozen vegetables when on sale. Overall CostCo has better prices per pound.
I did notice that ShopRite brand Cheese is on sale $0.99 for a 12 oz. package and Velveeta is $1.99 for the same size :( I also noticed that Hamburger is on sale for $1.99 a pound and a London Broil is cheaper, You do need their Key Tag OTOH.

I do have a couple of things to do and then I will be having a Lazy Day today.

    Have a Good Day

    Hi Joanne
You have hit the nail on the head with what I have observed as a week point with smart phone, iPhones included. I see people using them with cracked screens and rain falling. Rain and phones are not a good mix. The flip phones My Brother and I use, the screens are protected when closed. I hate to think how many times he dropped his old one into water and then disassembled to properly dry it out. It survived that for years until the keyboard wore out.

Was there no password recovery process from Apple ?
I am also wondering how changing the phone caused problems with the iPad and laptop, that sounds strange to me.

It is nice to have a good day outside today as we have been having too many rainy days this month.

    Have a Good Day

    Hi
I'm back from walking and no cents. The Rain in the forecast for Yesterday arrived later than predicted and ended somewhere between 4 and 7PM. Then overnight my sleep was interrupted by a Thunderstorm a little while before 3AM, Followed by rain then periods of thunder and rain that ended slightly before 5AM. When I left the house the rain had ended :)

Today's to do list is more or less complete, I wrote out the payment for the credit card bill that was in Tuesday's mail. Beyond that I need to look at a external hard drive of my brothers. It has been acting up, when I tried connecting it to my Big Desktop Any attempt to access it would either lock up Windows or when I ran Seatools since it is a Seagate drive not work. So yesterday I disassembled it using a tutorial video off of YouTube and have connected it to a SATA cable in the computer as a Desktop internal drive and that will be my final To Do item for the day later. Wish Me luck, I have a feeling he kept playing with it too long. Time will tell. I did test and it is past the warranty period so...

    Hi Irene
Hamburgers  One of my favorite foods, I usually buy around 7 of them in my NS order. Then Change them for taste. Things I do, Thousand Island Dressing, Lettuce, Mayo, Ketchup, Tomato and Velveeta Cheese depending on my mood.

I do not know if You noticed, The ShopRite Circular has Hamburger $1.99 a pound and a Twin pack London broil for $1.77 a pound with the Coupon, You do need the key tag. Also a 12 ounce pack of ShopRite sliced cheese for $0.99 and Velveeta $1.99 for 12 ounces.

I would say that 8K steps is a decent amount IMO.

If I got it right I suspect that most of the rain missed Your area ?

That sounds like Annie is doing really well.
