Hi Irene
I agree that yesterday and today were great for walking. I'm sure Annie enjoyed the swim.
Possibly Home Depot or Lowes ?

Hi Again
You posted as I was replying to yesterdays post
Oh well, You can ignore the part of the post about tick control
Things looked wet, then on my return home I checked the garden it does not appear to have been a heavy rain as things looked a little dry around the plants.
Enjoy the Party

Good morning. We had rain here overnight and still seems a little drizzly out.
I'm doing a little cleaning today. No plans. Hopefully will go out somewhere later.
Roger, I'm going to look at those articles on natural flea and tick control.
I saw a squirrel in our yard....first one I've seen since we moved here. I guess the trees have grown enough for them to come around. I was enjoying the yard without them.
Happy Saturday, everyone.0 -
Roger, not that we're killing any bugs, but if we need to, I'll definitely look for Wondercide. That would definitely beat chemicals. Thanks for the info.0

Hi
I'm back from walking and no cents. The Temperature out the door was 68 degrees. As it has been for the last couple of days it was comfortable to slightly cool outdoors while walking since there was a breeze. As I was walking I was hit by a few small drops of water and around the mid point of the walk it turned into a light drizzle that soon ended.

Happy Saturday, everyone.
The last few days have been dark and dreary looking here too, color me semi unhappy. Sunshine would be nice, OTOH the lower temperatures have helped save on the electric bill.
Today while watching all I saw was the usual suspects, Rabbits and Squirrels and for a change a Bluebird.
Natural controls for pests are a good thing. It couldn't hurt to do the test for ticks that the article gave.Roger, not that we're killing any bugs, but if we need to, I'll definitely look for Wondercide. That would definitely beat chemicals. Thanks for the info.

Good morning;
We had rain overnight. Today is looking like a sunny one.
I have been down with a cold since Thursday. I did absolutely nothing for the last couple of days, no energy. I am feeling a lot better today, just a little stuffy.
I am making banana bread with the over ripe bananas and I plan on cleaning the oven and changing the sheets on the bed today.
Vix-I hope you are not in pain from the infection.
Hi Irene and Roger.

Good morning.
Jo, I'm glad you're feeling better....I was wondering where you were. Don't overdo while you're recovering. I'm ok...no pain from the infection, but my leg is acting up, hobbled again.
It rained again overnight here. And we had a quick heavy rain yesterday afternoon. partly cloudy this morning.
I bought some coffee yesterday and didn't realize it was whole bean...may have to go back to the store and see if I can grind it. Have an acupuncture appt this afternoon.
So....another week begins. Wishing you all a good week.0 -

It is amazing how something not visible without special equipment can lay You low.
The overripe Bananas work really well in Banana Bread and is a good use of something that has a unappetizing Texture.

Hi Vix
Sorry to hear that Your leg is acting up
Back when the A & P grocery store had Coffee Grinders at the Registers and they sold Coffee Beans they smelled so good when they were grinding the coffee.
Do You have a Food Processor or something that might work as a coffee grinder, I suspect that my Brother would run them through the Spice Grinder.
Enjoy the Acupuncture

I probably should have put them in the food processor, but I didn't think of it. Went back to the store and ground them. I also went to Ross while I was there, so the trip wasn't wasted.
Went on the eliptical and did PT exercises this a.m. Hoping my leg will feel better. Trying not to sit too much.
