I'm back from walking and No cents. The Temperature out the door was 76 degrees and I am still suffering from terminal sweat. The humidity made it very uncomfortable
I went to the post office and picked up coffee and returned home. I will be getting more exercise later when we go to Lowes to pick up another 10 bags of mulch.
Yesterday's food was the two Fried Chicken Breasts and a salad used for two meals, and a Cobb Salad later on with Thousand Island Dressing.

good morning, We had a nice 4th spent most of the day in our pool. I eat too much but today is a new day . We did our walk this morning really humid outside we saw 3 deer and a bunny so it was nice and of course Annie went swimming and she chased a stick which is an everyday thing now. Going to take George's truck in for new tires now that he has farther to go to work. That is about it for our plans for today. We did really didn't hear too many fireworks last night which is a good thing Annie gets so scared. well take care everyone0

I had a trouble posting yesterday, not sure what the problem was.
Sounds like everyone had a good 4th.
My daughter and I went for a walk at a new place a few towns over. Even though we had bug spray on the insects were relentless. I don't think we will go there again until the fall.
This morning we hiked up Blue Hills Reservation. There is an observation tower at the top.
Our fireworks were cancelled because they are building a new high school in the field where they are usually shot off.

I'm back from walking and One Thin Dime found one block from the house. The Temperature out the door was 81 degrees and I was sweating heavily. The humidity made it very uncomfortable
As I was headed out the door I could see lightning in the distance and hear the grumbling of the thunder. Then as I was 2 blocks from home some light rain started falling.
I have been holding off on the Lawn mowing until the heat wave breaks. There is a cold front moving in and Today is out, rain in the forecast and at Noon Lunch with friends at the Chinese Buffet, I just need to be selective with what I eat. Wish me Luck

The Fourth was good here too. Yesterday I worked up a lot of sweat when we went to Lowes and picked up ten bags of Mulch, a Replacement handle for a Type of Hoe, A Edging Tool, Some Weed Killer to be spread on the lawn and a bottle of Weed Killer Spray.
As I recall last nights Weather Forecast the Humidity is supposed to break today.
No Problem with Annie trying to chase Bunnies and Deer ?
When my Brother bought his F150 four new tires were one of the first things he did to it. the Old ones were still legal, OTOH new tires hold the road better. When I acquired the Buick I had to put four new tires on due to the age of the old ones.
You were lucky that The fireworks were not all over. Does Thunder bother Annie, I suspect that it does.

I had no problem, OTOH I was on early.
I had the same problem when I walked in a park during the summer where I had walked during the winter. I got eaten alive I feel for You, It is bad enough when the little flying gnats buzz me.
No other location for the Fireworks, I hope that does not set a precedent.

We did have some rain this morning and now it is really humid . We also had a lot of thunder so Annie was really scared nothing we do helps. I agree, I hate the idea of using insect repellent. OTOH the alternative can be worse. My Brother weeded the garden the other day and yesterday he complaining about a bug bite on his leg that itched and kept getting irritated during the day due to where it is.

As I look out the Window I see a Rabbit on the neighbors driveway. While walking I saw the usual suspects, Rabbits, Squirrels, Birds hear Owls and Woodpeckers, I also saw two smallish deer feeding in a school playground, not the first time for that location either.
I have been swatting at flying gnats and swatting them on the back of my neck for several days, today is the first time I have not had them land on me.
The Ones I saw this morning were watching me too until I moved away far enough for them to relax and resume grazing. I walked past some Sunflowers today that had some leaves eaten off, Like by Deer, they decimated ours in the past over time, even eating the flowers that did make it.
Once the early morning Thunder and rain was past it turned into a nice looking if hot and humid day Friday.
With the nice overnight temperatures I walked a lot further despite planning to mow the grass later and Pick up mulch at Lowes too.

What a beautiful day yesterday. My daughter and I went to the local Farmer's Market and bought fresh picked fruit and veggies.
I had to take Sophie to the vet yesterday because the lump on her tail had gotten bigger.
She is back on the anti fungal medication. If that doesn't cure it, she may have to have surgery on her tail.
We put up a humming bird feeder and have spotted one bird 2 days in a row.
This morning we had a hawk sitting on the back of one of our chairs on the deck.

I can not disagree, The overnights have been great and either due to that or where I walked I ran into fewer bugs too.
