    Good morning.
Roger, I liked living in NJ, but I like MD too. It took me a while to get used to it. There are plusses and minuses to living anywhere. Different taxes, but also different services and conveniences.
Have some errands and some grocery shopping to do today.
    Happy Saturday, everyone. :)
    Hi Vix
True, OTOH lower cost of living if the same things are available is not a bad thing
Different services can be in the same state too. As an example in my town Garbage collection is provided by the town, where my brother lived he had to pay a garbage service for pickup.

I hope the errands went well

GOOD MORNING, Roger there is pictures on the web I guess you can say it is a walk threw. We were suppose to have another showing last night but I don't think they showed up nothing showed on our cameras. Speaking of cameras we have new cameras in our yard one in the front and another in the back yard well we are getting visitors of the 4 paws kind so far we have seen a cat (a couple of times) well about 3:30 am we had a new company it was a deer and he eat all of my hosta George thought it was funny here is this very close up of this deer just munching on my plant maybe I should put out carrots or something now we have very tall fencing around the whole yard. Vix hope Pete is feeling better. Hey JO Yes Roger totally amazing how they are taxing everything . San Francisco use to be so nice not any more well take care everyone
    Hi Irene
It sounds like a walk through from here.

We had that problem last year, the dang deer love to eat landscaping. I see lots of Hostas with stems and no leaves while walking, likewise with Sunflowers. They ate the Hostas, Lillies, and the apple trees as well as other plants, Darned walking appetites. We ended up with small wire cages Around many of what the seem to like the taste of. The other thing that seemed to help was interplanting Basil plants, Side benefit is that my brother uses the basil to make Pesto. I would not put out anything like carrots that might make them think of Your yard as a tasty diner.

We have a Large Ginger Cat that uses our driveway as a highway from the back yard to the street. This year I have also seen a mottled B&W cat in the area.

I am so tired of the Politicians adding new taxes. We deserve them since we elected a governor that said if he was elected he would pass new taxes :(

    Have a Good Day

    Good evening;
I just finished catching up with the posts.
Vix-I hope Pete is up and about soon. Are you getting a Cortisone injection in your spine?
I hope it gives you relief. Thanks for asking after Sophie. She seems to be doing better. Her tail is still lumpy. The Vet said it could take a month to see some results.
Irene-Did you have an open house or do they just show the house by appt.?
They do have cones for cats, but I think Sophie would be miserable if she had to wear one.
    Hi Roger.
Nothing new here, just enjoying this cooler weather.
I found 2 cents this week.
We put up a humming bird feeder and have had one coming every afternoon. Hubby has taken pictures and a video with his camera.
    Have a great evening. :)
    Hi Joanne
I was enjoying the cooler weather, Today starts a stretch of humid and Thunderstorms according to the weather forecast.

That reminds me of the days when we had a Camera for Photos and a separate one for Video

    Congrats on Your Find.
    Good Luck with Sophie

    Good morning.
Looks nice out, sunny for now. Forecast high of 80 with scattered t-storms. Rained relentlessly all day yesterday.
Jo, glad Sophie is doing better, some things take time. The cooler weather is nice. Pete will probably be up and about in a few days.
Irene, one of my friends has a motion sensitive camera in her yard and gets a lot of interesting animal photos.
Roger, we haven't had any deer in our yard yet, but I have seen the first of the squirrels, now that the neighborhood trees are growing. I didn't miss the squirrels.
    Happy Sunday, everyone. :)

    Hi
I'm back from walking and no cents. The Temperature out the door was 77 degrees and It was uncomfortable walking due to high humidity. The Rain forecast for overnight happened and there was rain that ended before I left the house. As I was leaving the store after picking up my coffee it started raining, Some very heavy interspersed with light rain.

The temperature never dropped overnight and the humidity is high, The Forecast I saw for for the upcoming 7 days showed showers and Thunderstorms with humidity high for all of them :(

In different areas I think an open house works, In other areas it could lead to theft or as You say Casing the house. Hopefully The Realtor is vetting the people they take through the house.

I am sure no watering is needed through Sunday at least.

Congratulations on having a good walk. Stay Dry

    Good morning.
We had heavy t-storms overnight and more expected for the next 10 days. Gray today. No plans. Hubby is trying to get in to see a Dr. He is uncomfortable and concerned. So I'll stay available to drive him.
We had an open house when we sold our house. I guess it does depend on the area you're in and whether or not you are living in the house. We were still living there, very residential, sort of bedroom community, and only a few people showed up to the open house. Ours sold the first day.
Anyway, have a good week. :)

The Rain forecast for overnight happened and the rain had ended before I left the house. As I was approaching the store to pick up my coffee I saw a Deer heading across the street I was on and heading down the street behind the store. OTOH if the weather today is like Monday's then we will be having bands of rain going through all afternoon.

I did the same thing and short cut my walk, I might have gone further if I had not had to put on the Disposable Rain Poncho. That made it worse as it blocked the breeze that had helped cool me somewhat. The overnight temperatures are not dropping this week so far, they either stay the same from 10PM on or go up :(

I did Laundry Tuesday and as soon as I get some motivation back I need to take the clean sheets and put them on the bed so I can wash the old ones. First thing is the printer table as I also use it as my desk to write checks and I have two of them to write so I can mail them tomorrow :)

Yesterday I was rolling the Old Radio Shack Printer Table over in front of the TV I use a larger 42 inch Monitor when the Bar that the wheels are mounted to on one side came off. So now I need to take everything off of it so I can turn it upside down and reattach the wheels. It is sort of old since I bought it back when the home Printers were either Dot Matrix or For really nice looking is slow printing Daisy Wheel Printers. I did make something to block the opening where the pin feed paper came up so that the keyboard, Mouse etc. did not fall through. Call me cheap but I want to fix it rather than replace it if I can even find something that size with wheels.

My brother took advantage of a dry period and mowed the lawn and I followed behind with a weed killer that hopefully got watered in when the rain returned rather than being washed away. It it succeeds in killing off the darn weeds that stick flower heads up that will be a big help. It was mainly those weeds that made the lawn look untidy so ....

I talked to yard service one time about that since they mow rain or shine and what I was told is that mowing a wet lawn is OK if, Big if, the blade is sharp. He could have been lying however I know him and he does live two block away.

Congratulations on getting the steps in, Today I am behind. OTOH I plan to head out to the Whole Foods, I like their Butter for example and then onto the ShopRite for the Low Calorie Bread as I have two slices left and they are starting to get dried out. So Two Parking Lots and two Grocery Stores at a minimum later on.

    Have a Nice Day
    Roger

I did get my yard mowed yesterday the grass seemed dry. Our weather this morning on our walk was fine it was like 72. Vix since I didn't see you on here I figured you went for your shot hope it helps . Hey Jo

    hello.
I went for my injection yesterday, and was able to drive home myself. Was feeling pretty good. Went for a walk in the park this morning, and some of the pain has come back. I have an appt for a follow up shot in 2 weeks. It's still better than it was.
Pete's hanging in there. Hopefully will feel better by next week.
Pretty much going to take it easy for the rest of the day, put an ice pack on for a little while.
    Happy Friday, everyone.

    Good afternoon;
Just finished catching up with everyone.
    Roger-congrats on your $5.00 find.
Vix-I hope you and Pete feel better soon.
Hi Irene-Around my area there seems to be a lot of open houses.
We have had rain off and on all week. Today it is sunny and humid.
It has been really hot at work. I don't think the AC is working very well. It seems like since we had the remodel everything is breaking down and a lot of the machinery was new.
    I think poor workmanship.
    Have a good evening. :)

    Hi
I'm back from walking and no cents. The Temperature out the door was 70 degrees and deceptive. It felt OK for the fist block or so then uncomfortable walking due to high humidity. It was clear out the door and I could see the full moon, by the time I returned home the moon was hidden by the fog that moved in while I was walking.

Yesterday I saw 5 deer eating the grassy play area behind the grade school and this morning 2 more doing likewise.

    Hi Irene
That seems counter-intuitive to me, I would have thought that long hair would make the dogs hotter

And I though that it was humid

How did You make out with the weather Friday, parts on NJ got pounded with flooding, where I am I thought I saw and heard a little thunder in the distance, lucky me

FWIW there was severe flooding in parts of NJ after 5+ inches of rain in three hours. The fog is still getting thicker, the humidity is forecast to drop later today and Sunday is forecast to be better.

While I was out and about yesterday I decided to get a Little Ceasars' pizza, They advertise all over the place. It did not look like the commercial's pizza having less Pepperoni BTW. It was OK while it was hot, cold not good. My brother ate two slices and said it was not good either. Part of that for both of us I suspect was the bready fairly thick crust. That makes it one less temptation for the future. I did salvage the cheese and Pepperoni off of the slices I threw away. Since neither of us likes to waste food the fact that We threw out food tells the tale. Weirdly to me the staff seemed to be one person, I mentioned it and he said it's OK since it doesn't get busy and he does that every day.

Congratulations on the Mowing being done

    Hi Vix
I wonder how the doctors decide between an ice pack and a heat pad ?

I hope the pain after the walk is just the shot taking time to work.

    Good Luck with Pete
