    Good afternoon;
Just finished catching up with everyone.
    Roger-congrats on your $5.00 find.
Vix-I hope you and Pete feel better soon.
Hi Irene-Around my area there seems to be a lot of open houses.
We have had rain off and on all week. Today it is sunny and humid.
It has been really hot at work. I don't think the AC is working very well. It seems like since we had the remodel everything is breaking down and a lot of the machinery was new.
    I think poor workmanship.
    Have a good evening. :)
    Hi Joanne
    Thanks for the kind words.

This past week has seen rain every day at some point in time. The heat and humidity have been wreaking havoc on ACs, Add in that getting them repaired takes longer than usual due to the demand for repairs and I have been in some businesses that were quite warm and I was glad I was not a worked there.

There is a lack of skilled people in the trades and You are likely seeing the result of that at work. A Bad install can cause problems with new equipment and they have bought by price and not by quality. I know from experience that You get what You pay for, usually.

    Have a Good Weekend

Good morning. Thanks all. Some things take time to resolve. We'll hang in.
T-storm yesterday pulled some of the covers off our deck chairs! Pretty strong winds. Calm and sunny so far today.
    Hi Irene.
Roger, good job on the walking. Yesterday in the park saw lots of birds...at one point saw about 5 red bellied woodpeckers hanging out.
Jo, too bad about the conditions at work. I hope they get it fixed, they should have some kind of waranty with the company that installed the AC.
    No special plans for today.
    Happy Saturday, everyone. :)

I am up early and getting the laundry done.
Roger-we had a Little Ceasar's pizza in our town, but it didn't last long. It was so long ago, I don't remember if I actually bought pizza there.
Irene-you are so good about getting your walks in.
Vix-I haven't seen any woodpeckers yet. I had a hawk just sitting in my yard on Thurs. He was just looking around, then spread his wings and took off. They have such a huge wing span.

I'm back from walking and no cents. The Temperature out the door was 72 degrees and It felt OK for the the outbound leg, then uncomfortable walking due to humidity. It was clear out the door and I could see the full moon.
When I went back out yesterday I did find one cent.

Did the winds also blow the covers away ? I have not seen any real winds around here, luckily.

Lucky You, I hear woodpeckers while walking and do not see them :(

I bet they do have warranty OTOH the company could be overloaded.

    Hi Irene
I walked further today due to the somewhat lowered humidity. The Overnight low temperatures were forecast to be in the 60s, Not so here.

We have some good Pizza places in town also, The Little Ceasars' purchase was a impulse buy since I was curious based on their commercials. The best part of that pizza was the Cheese and Pepperoni toppings. The Cheese and Pepperoni that I scraped off and saved before throwing the crust away as it was not thin and crispy tasted OK after I heated it to use as Protein with my Lunch

    Good morning..
Well, we're getting plenty of rain, don't have to water. Sunny and pretty out so far this a.m. Did some grocery shopping and worked on getting some of my paintings ready for the county fair coming up this week. I think I'll find a couple of pieces of my pottery too to enter into the other county fair (also coming up this week.) I live on the edge of 4 counties.
Will do a little cleaning today and maybe run some more errands. Should be a fairly quiet day.
    Happy Sunday, everyone. :)

The Dew Point is in the 6os which is considered uncomfortable. I did see two deer run across the road after I passed my turnaround point.

    Hi
I'm back from walking and no cents. The Temperature out the door was 75 degrees and uncomfortable walking due to humidity.
Today the forecast is for rain and since I saw where it had rained lightly before I left, Outbound I was drizzled on for part of the way, Likewise on the return, Not heavy enough to put on the rain poncho thankfully as that would have blocked what little breeze there was. Bottom Line I am going that we already hit the 100% mark for rain today with this mornings weather forecast showing more and heavier rain headed this way. The overnight temperatures did not drop worth a darn as it was 76 at 10PM :(

It sounds as if I was lucky that I only got drizzled on and it was not enough to make me put on the Rain Poncho. The Humidity was bad enough.
The walking today was marginally better despite the humidity being in the oppressive range due to a light breeze.

I have to admit that I have seen them mention that trees may fall due to saturated ground, OTOH it was never given as a falling tree weather alert.

I can take a try at explaining how...
The explanation is likely as simple as saying that one or two years do not make a trend ?

Good morning. Rained again last night. Possible it may not rain on the weekend.
Off to painting class this a.m. Probably mostly spend time getting things ready for the fair.
    Happy Thursday, everyone. :)

    Here's a pic of my stained glass car (1937 Packard...sort of) :)

    Hi Vix
It rained off and on yesterday and then in the Evening we finally saw Lightening and heard Thunder mixed with rain.
I heard rain overnight too, and things were wet outside when I left the house.

The Car Looks good to me

good morning, vix the picture is awesome great job. Roger we aren't walking as much as we were it is pretty humid out side which makes it hard to breath take care everyone
    Hi Irene
The Humidity sucks the get up and go out of me so I am not surprised Youaren't walking as much.

They are saying Sunday & Monday are the best days to mow the lawn in yesterdays weather forecast. The temperatures will still be hot and humid, the only rationale for those days is no rain in the forecast for them.

    Have a Nice Day
