Enjoy the humor I just posted.

    Hi
I'm back from walking and 1cent that I spotted laying in a crack, It blended in due to some discoloring and I was lucky enough to see the round shape and look closer. The Temperature out the door was 75degrees and It was sort of comfortable when the breeze blew. Sadly it was intermittent. It rained off and on during the morning then cleared up for the balance of the day. More rain is forecast for Tuesday thus we do not need to water until Thursday if the forecast holds.

    Good morning.
    Thanks all.
My children are close...the rest of our family is scattered. But I'm super happy to be near my children. :)
Irene, congrats for staying on track and all the walking.
Jo, congrats on being more active. I hope Sophie gets better soon.
I've been trying to be more active too, but not doing very well at it. Did manage a walk in the park yesterday. I was really tired and achy after that.
Roger, your cents add up. Forecast here is for high of 89 and possible isolated t-storms. So many of the news sites are asking for permission now to keep info, that I would rather not read what they have to say than to authorize more keeping track of me. Such is the world of technology.
    Happy Sunday, everyone. :)
    Hi Vix
Before the scattering all of us Kids and parents were within a 20 minute drive. Now the closest relative is at least a 30+ minute drive, the next is a couple hours if traffic is light then the rest are over a day away :(

I think it might have been the weather as I was tired yesterday too. All my get up and go went away early morning.

Do the sites work if You turn them down ? I get location type requests that I turn down, always.

I think the Thunderstorms left at least a 1/2 inch of rain behind, We needed the rain too. The Lawn is currently a nice brown that will go back to green with the rain.
    eku0 wrote: »
    Good morning.
One more hot one today...up to 93 and mostly sunny. Then t-storms tomorrow and a little cooler.
Good luck with your cleaning, Jo. You are always so industrious!
Irene, Chinese food is delicious, lucky you. Soy sauce is loaded with sodium, and the MSG can mess with you too.
    Hi Roger.
It's massage Monday for me. Yay. I have a visit with a Spine and Pain doc tomorrow. Looking for a little magic.
Hoping we all have a good week. :)

Today is forecast to be hot and humid here too, with a chance of Thunderstorms...

OTOH if the Take Out menu proclaims no MSG You should be good to go. When I was delivering overnight a block from Madison Square Garden You could see 5 gallon size containers marked MSG in front of the Chinese eateries, OTOH it did not mean that much back in the 80s an 90s as a recollect.

If I said I have stopped worrying about sodium? And have started using some to season food to taste.

    Here's hoping that magic happens

    Good morning;
I am starting spring cleaning today. I know it is a little late. It is a gloomy day, so I decided since I have 2 days off from work I would deep clean the house.
Vix-I was ache yesterday and had to take 2 Ibuprofen. I wonder if the weather has anything to do with it? Our forecast seem to be the same as yours.
    Hi Roger and Irene.
Back to cleaning, have a wonderful day. :)

    Hi Joanne
Hmm... Spring Cleaning... I preemptively took a a couple of aspirin with the Food I eat before I walk as yesterday my knees were somewhat sore and I had some minor pain in the joints of my hands. I blame the weather, Why not, it is as good an excuse as any

I would say enjoy the cleaning but it is cleaning :(

Good Sunday Morning, Wow Roger and Jo congrats on your find. Jo I was wondering do they put cones on cats so they don't lick there sores? Vix I think the weather does affect our body. they care everyone. oh I had Chinese food last night and what I had was steamed veggies and brown rice of course with soy sauce so today I can't get enough water so I guess I should of stayed away from the soy sauce.
    Hi Irene
I love Chinese Food, However it is somewhat fattening depending on what You order.

I have found that in my case it is not the sodium, as I get very thirsty and retain water even if I eat plain white rice. I have been know to melt some butter into it, I am fairly sure that butter will not have that effect. To combat the if it is there with the Chinese rice side I tell them hold the rice when I remember to tell them that. The Beef Chow Mein is pretty tasty and being lots of Vegetables I believe it is OK now and then.

I believe that all the sauces have some Soy sauce in them FWIW.

    Have a Good Day

    Good morning.
Mostly sunny with a high of 84 today...nice summer day. We had some storms yesterday too, didn't realize subways were flooding...that's pretty severe. At least it's cooled down today.
Roger, I think they don't make towels the way they used to...they are only a few years old and fraying. Maybe the washing machines are rougher? Anyway, it's nice to have new ones.
Irene, sounds like you're getting plenty of exercise.
    Hi Jo.
I made an appt for a spine injection for Thursday, but have to change it, didn't realize hubby is doing surgery prep that day, and I'll need a ride. Next week will be good for me. The pain doc was really nice. I hope this works.
I have my regular dental cleaning today and a visit with the functional doc. Getting tired of all these appts! But at least my teeth will be all clean and shiny.

    Hi Irene
I would be happy if I slept in until 5AM once in a while, I seem to be getting up earlier and earlier as time goes by.

Yesterday, Tuesday, Was not nice while walking. I did go to the post office as I had 6 items to mail. One was a return mailer from HP to return the empty ink cartridge as well as three payments by my brother and two by me.

Floor exercises would be tough for me as I do not spring to my feet like I did in the past, Now I need something to help pull myself up, oh well it is better than no being.

We were suppose to have a house showing last night but some how it was canceled we have another one tonight with a different realtor . You would not believe how many times people just don't show up. well hope you all have a great day
    Hi Irene
So far so good today walking too.

I am not surprised that people do or do not show up for the showing. Some of that I suspect is due to the realtor, Some are better than others :(
Does Your house have a online walk-through.

    Have a Good Day

    Hi all.
Pete had his procedure today. Glad that is done. There was a minor complication, but he should be better in 3or 4 days. I put my epidural off til Thursday.
It was a long day, glad to be home.
    Happy Friday, everyone. :)
    Hi Vix
That is good news, more or less, that it was a minor complication. Sorry to hear about the 3 or 4 days before he is Good to go.

With it being a long day, I can understand You putting off Your procedure.

My brother is so over NJ, He would like to move, to a state that does not tax everything except the air You breathe. IMO The benefits of being between two large metro areas outweigh things so far.

    Have a Nice Day

    Good morning.
Roger, I liked living in NJ, but I like MD too. It took me a while to get used to it. There are plusses and minuses to living anywhere. Different taxes, but also different services and conveniences.
Have some errands and some grocery shopping to do today.
    Happy Saturday, everyone. :)

GOOD MORNING, Roger there is pictures on the web I guess you can say it is a walk threw. We were suppose to have another showing last night but I don't think they showed up nothing showed on our cameras. Speaking of cameras we have new cameras in our yard one in the front and another in the back yard well we are getting visitors of the 4 paws kind so far we have seen a cat (a couple of times) well about 3:30 am we had a new company it was a deer and he eat all of my hosta George thought it was funny here is this very close up of this deer just munching on my plant maybe I should put out carrots or something now we have very tall fencing around the whole yard. Vix hope Pete is feeling better. Hey JO Yes Roger totally amazing how they are taxing everything . San Francisco use to be so nice not any more well take care everyone

    Good evening;
I just finished catching up with the posts.
Vix-I hope Pete is up and about soon. Are you getting a Cortisone injection in your spine?
I hope it gives you relief. Thanks for asking after Sophie. She seems to be doing better. Her tail is still lumpy. The Vet said it could take a month to see some results.
Irene-Did you have an open house or do they just show the house by appt.?
They do have cones for cats, but I think Sophie would be miserable if she had to wear one.
    Hi Roger.
Nothing new here, just enjoying this cooler weather.
I found 2 cents this week.
We put up a humming bird feeder and have had one coming every afternoon. Hubby has taken pictures and a video with his camera.
    Have a great evening. :)

I posted new humor about a minute ago, enjoy

    Hi
I'm back from walking and no cents. The Temperature out the door was 72 degrees and It was semi comfortable walking due to a off and on breeze. The Rain forecast for overnight happened and there was a bit of a drizzle on the outbound and after a period of no moisture the drizzle started again around 3 blocks from the house.

The outdoors temperature went up overnight, At bedtime it was 68 degrees on the porch, this morning it was 72 degrees and it also felt more humid, Yuck :(
