    Hi
I'm back home from walking with no cents spotted. The Temperature out the door was 81 degrees,Yesterday at 10PM it was still 86 degrees, it was not comfortable while walking due to the higher temperature the humidity.
Yesterdays high temperatures in NJ at the hottest spot was reported as 99 degrees with most of the state being in the mid 90s :( My Crazy Brother went out and mowed around 11AM when it was already hot and humid.

MONDAY, Aug. 27, 2018 (HealthDay News) -- Weight loss depends on eating fewer calories than your body uses up. But when you eat those calories could make a difference that you'll see on the scale.
An Italian study found that you can boost weight loss by about 25 percent just by eating 70 percent of each day's calories between breakfast and lunch, including a mid-morning snack, and the other 30 percent as an afternoon snack and dinner.

    Happy Tuesday, everyone. :)
    Hi Vix
I am not happy with this heat wave :(
It is shortening my walks, Just to much heat and humidity even at or before 5AM.

    Enjoy You Day
    Roger
good morning, we only did a short walk this morning it was way too hot. No plans for today I think I will be spending the day in the pool I already put the heater on the pool. It is nice not having any plans. Well George's truck is finally done it has taken awhile to get it fixed. I am so glad I mowed the yawn yesterday before it got too hot take care everyone
    Hi Irene
I'm with You, I think I did 1/2 of my normal time and distance and I took advantage of a few place that had benches or chairs out to sit and cool off somewhat during the walking too.
Lucky You, I think it was already too hot when my brother went out to mow and then he got started even later after spending an hour talking to a neighbor.

I wonder why it took so long to change the airbags, I know they need to be handled carefully as they have explosive charges in them OTOH.

This type of weather is the only time I sort of miss having a pool, OTOH they do require a substantial amount of maintenance IMO.

I do not blame You for only doing 5K Steps, It was miserable right out the door this morning.

As I interpret the last weather forecast tomorrow will be a misery too, and when they said the cold front and lower humidity will be moving in Friday I take that to mean during the day and that when I head out the door Friday Morning it will still be hot and humid :(

    Have a Relaxing Day

No outdoor activity for me today.
    Irene-Enjoy the pool.
    Hi Roger and Vix.
    Stay cool. :)
    Hi Joanne
I sort of hate it when I enter a place with AC such as the Post Office and where I pick up my morning coffee as when I go back out the heat feels even worse. It is not so bad going out the front door to walk, Example: This morning Living Room 79 degrees and 81 degrees outside, I did turn the AC back on as I left to have a cool location when I returned from the walk.

AC in the car is not working, It appears that there is a Freon leak as it won't hold a charge and there is a electrical fault that our mechanic described as a faulty resistor that has killed the three slowest fan speeds :(
I do not blame You for taking advantage of all that AC.

I managed to fix the door latch on my Brothers door. It failed in such a manner that the only way to close it was to turn the handle as if You were opening it. The Part on the edge of the door had failed in some manner, I got lucky when I examined it that I had the same one left from another Door latch that I had replaced. I knew being a pack rat would come in handy. I kept it in the same spot I keep the New Key Locks and Bathroom sets on hand.

I do not remember if I used these before, if so, Oops.

    Hi
I'm back home from walking no cents. The Temperature out the door was 82 degrees,Yesterday at 10PM it was still 88 degrees, it was not comfortable while walking due to the higher temperature the humidity. I did manage to extend my distance by picking up a Super Big Gulp filled with Ice and Diet Pepsi.
On the Outbound leg of my walk I had the Bleep scared out of me when I heard a large thump next to me and then a Deer ran off. I can only guess that the noise was the startled Deer kicking the house next to me as it scrambled up or off.

According to my Brother, anytime he gets on the scale and it does not say "You Only Put in a dime, One at a time" it's to the good.

    Hi
I'm back home from walking no cents. The Temperature out the door was 76 degrees,Yesterday at 10PM it was still 86 degrees, it was Sort of comfortable while walking due to somewhat lower humidity and a gentle breeze.
The Temperatures did not drop as low overnight as was forecast, I suspect due to the low clouds. I could hear low flying aircraft and sometimes I could see the glow through the clouds of the lights on them.

I did my recovering from the heat today while walking. To explain as I walked I worked up a bit of a sweat so I took advantage of town benches along the roads and a chair in front of a eatery to sit and let the gentle breeze cool me down. Does that make me lazy or ???

I also wandered into the back yard to see if any of the latest crop of Raspberries survived critters eating them, Wow, I actually got as many this morning in one go as I had managed to get up to now from earlier crops.

    Hi Vix
That Sounds like typical summer weather, Hot and humid which often causes Thunderstorms. When I was driving if I had any distance to travel in the afternoon I would run into and out of Thunderstorms most days. Sometimes it would be a clean line at the edge of them and I would go from soaking rain onto dry roads within a few feet.

Seattle's bad air was smoke from the forest fires, no surprise to me. If You have seen the pictures of the Pollution in Beijing it is horrendous and that gets blown all over the world.

AC for the summer is great, I wonder how I survived the summer before I had it ?

I agree it was horrible out Thursday morning and that was with no heat from the Sun, I did not go as far as I would have liked, however the cold Diet Soda and then the cup full of ice when that was drunk up which I chewed and crunched up helped as did having the Cold Cup in my hand to go a lot further than I would have otherwise.

    Hi Irene
I gather from the weather forecasts I saw that South Jersey had a lot more rain than we had where I am, I saw reports of over 4 inches in one are down there. So I am not surprised You have a really big storm happening. You got lucky beating the rain back home from the sound of it. Even Good Rain gear does not keep You 100% dry during a heavy rain and as it blocks any breeze it makes things less comfortable too.

I'm with You inside under the AC since I have no pool.

    Hi Irene
I'm sorry to hear that the House sale fell through. I suppose there is a slim chance that when the buyer (!) sees the house back on the market they may came back with a lot less conditions, it depends on how interested they were. I wonder if a different realtor would work better ?

I hope the walk was good.
