    Hi
Before I forget again, heading into the ER last week I found 11 cents, Since I will not be walking for a while I expect that will be the last in quite a while.
Of and On Rain is in the forecast for today, So far it was raining overnight, then it stopped by the time I got up and is now raining again.

FWIW I am slowly feeling a little bit stronger day by day.

Before I forget I really had no way to keep in touch in the hospital, I thought about trying to walk my brother through where to post over the phone, His mind interprets what I say in unusual ways so I gave up, Sorry.

I really did not expect to be admitted and operated on when the doctor sent me there :(

    Good morning;
Roger-it is good to have you back. Good luck with your next procedure.
Vix-Sounds like you checked off a couple more things on the wedding planning list. Good luck with the menu.
Irene-It would be good if they can fix both things at once, saves you a second trip to the dealer.
Sophie has some sort of respiratory infection. She sounds like she has a head cold an is sneezing a lot. The vet gave her an anti-viral med, but it has to be made up in another lab and then shipped to me.

    Hello Joanne
The next thing(s) are outpatient, One being Robotic Surgery on a small hernia, and the other some testing, Unless the tests reveal something in need of a instant hospitalization they should be a small speed bump.

That does not sound good to me that the meds have to be shipped, I hope the delay is not a problem.

    Have a Good Day

hi all, roger we were all worried glad you are on the mends. Well my back up camera is dead so we need to get another one so George will be looking on line. My brother in laws Mom passed away so I will be going up to Scranton, Pa for the service I am leaving Friday morning and coming back on Saturday George is staying home he has standby this weekend for his job. take care everyone
    Hello Irene
Since I never used a Backup Camera I am not sure how critical that is. When I back up I tend to rely on the three mirrors.

I'm sorry to hear about the death, Have a safe drive

    Hi all.
Irene, condolences, have a safe trip.
Jo, glad you're enjoying the nice weather.
Reserved a room in a restaurant for the rehearsal dinner...now just have to figure out the menu, get invitations, etc, etc. But glad that I found a nice place. The 2 I was most interested in weren't available. I didn't realize places booked up so far in advance.
    Busy day.
Have a great evening, everyone. :)
    Hi Vix
From what I hear the best places go quick.

    Good morning.
How's it going, Roger. Hope you are feeling a little better every day.
I got 2 dresses in the mail yesterday. They both fit and look ok. I'll try them on for my daughter and see what she thinks...always good to have a 2nd or 3rd opinion!
Painting class for me this a.m. It's overcast today with a high of 71 expected, rain tonight and tomorrow.
    Happy Thursday, everyone. :)
I am feeling a little better daily, I wish it was quicker. The restriction on not lifting anything over 20 pounds is throwing a burden on my brother preparing his garden, including picking up mulch and topsoil.

I suspect with a 99% certainty that by the time I go walking again I will back at the start of that for distance :(

    Have a Nice Day

    Good morning.
Safe travels, Irene. Would be great if the dealer can fix both at the same time.
Roger, glad you're starting to feel better. Hope the next procedures are smooth sailing.
This getting old stuff has its drawbacks. :disappointed: It's good that you and your brother are close and can live together. :)
Jo, poor Sophie, hope she feels better soon.
I'm going to continue to look for dresses, but at least I know I have one I can wear if I find nothing better. I was happy they fit (except for having to be shortened).
Rainy, high of 70 today, t-storms expected later. No special plans for today. Maybe some grocery shopping...out of salad again.
    Happy Friday, everyone. :)

Roger-I am glad that you are feeling better every day. I am keeping good thoughts that the next procedure goes off without a hitch. Did the doctor say no walking? I would think short walks would be good for you to get your strength back. Congrats on finding 11 cents.
Irene-safe travels and again my condolences.
Vix-good luck on the dress hunt.
Today is work and after work, grocery shopping. I am happy to be going back to my local store.

I have posted some humor, Enjoy

    Hi
Just in case so that I do not drop out of sight in the future. If anyone wants to send their email or Mailing address so my brother can let everybody know put them in a PM so that email address bots can not get them.

I have an appointment for 10:30 Tuesday morning for a outpatient test which means I need to be out of the house around 8:30 for the drive to the hospital and a 1.5 hour ahead of time fill out the paperwork etc. which is what they want so Tuesday morning I may not be on or if I am not for long.

    Hello Vix
I agree, getting old is no fun. I would be in trouble if he were not here. He will be doing the shopping and since they say have a driver for Tuesday....

When I buy long pants they always need to be shortened, I must have short legs ?

Thunderstorm rolled through Friday afternoon with heavy rain, the rest of the day was off and on rain.

    Hi
Some rain in the forecast for later today and chances of rain throughout the week along with cool temperatures.

I found a nickel in the mailbox yesterday, It was attached to a mailing from the sierra club trying to get me to join. I seem to have ended up on all kinds of wildlife organizations mailing lists :(

    More humor shortly

    Hi
Some chances of rain throughout the week. This morning it is 37 degrees outside and I do have the heat turned back on. It is a nice enough looking day especially compared to the weekend.

I plan to create a print list today for my brother just in case of future need. No telling what tomorrows test results will be. I am unhappy with the No food or liquids after midnight tonight, Not even water. That makes me wonder if I will be anesthetized Tuesday morning. It did not really come as a need when the doctor sent me to the ER as I had not eaten since the day before.

    Second Try :(

    Hello Vix
Yesterday the rain started with a light drizzle by 10AM.
I knew it was expanding, what was new was that it seems to be expanding faster than the scientists predicted.

When they measured my height at the hospital it was an inch shorter than what I used to be, They do say we get shorter as we age.

If I had any motivation and more energy there are some minor chores that need doing here too :(
