@WANDERAN - Fantastic job!!!! That's so cool!! And what does the rest of your shirt in your profile pic say? I think* it might say "Ask your doctor if getting off your @ss is a good idea". LOL Love it! :drinker:

The good news, Doctor cleared me for all bike riding with the caveat of I don't go down again (like I do this everyday), the serious contusions are not healing as fast, and my mid back, and neck is still stiff and sore. Got out for an easy spin. Boy am I slow compared to where I was last month. Ride like a slug on Valiums. But managed over 50 mins before everything started to hurt. Riding over a bumpy road still give me a headache and after a point my back and neck muscles start to tighten up. Boy I will be real glad when this crap is over. I just noticed I am over 5000 miles, that was my biggie, and I just forgot about it.

Good news @anaconda469 but sounds like you should still take it a bit easy if you want to be healed enough to ride at Bend later.

@Lovemyalex -- Good luck on the 24th! You are a hero with all your one legged biking. That happens to be bike to work day here in Colorado.

All of this talk of 8000 miles and 5000 miles made me go look at the sheet and there I am over 5000 miles which must have happened a few months back. I didn't even notice it. I doubt I'll remember to look for 8000 miles either. I should have made green this weekend. Yeah! About time I was making my goal.

    :) Thank you

I got it started and everyone else can finish it up later in the month... We will not let you down... :) [/quote]

To all, I deeply appreciate what everyone is doing, especially @LoveMyAlex! I am back on the bike, but not as recovered as I thought. I am moving the best I can at the moment :):) I did go to the Tillamook Cheese Factory yesterday and a walk on the beach. So relaxing in fact that my ride was a little better today.

    06/14 - 2.0 miles beach walk

    Total: 71.0 miles

    06/15 - 10.0 miles cycling

    Total: 81.0 miles

I made the mistake of waiting until lunchtime to take a walk. Way too hot and humid for that to be a good idea. I will need to get out in the morning if I want to keep getting miles in.

Added 4.25 miles today for a June total of 59 miles.

@Lovemyalex Great to see you moving right up until surgery. I will keep you in my prayers that the knee replacement goes well and you heal quickly and well.

@anaconda469. It is good to see you are getting out there again as much as you can. It may take awhile for everything to heal, but you are not letting this stop you.

Wow ... hotter in North Carolina than it was in Florida. I feel for you people who are dealing with this. No miles yesterday or today other than the automobile kind and plenty of those. It's 70F where I'm going :-)

4.2 miles indoors today because of the heat. 2 on the treadmill, even ran one at a solid 6 mph, outside it's anything but flat so this is a whole new game for me. The rest on the bike. Can you leave me at 90 miles and give the rest to @anaconda469 ? Thanks (I think it's 2.9 miles over goal)
