I want to stay under my calorie goal and drink my water. If I manage that today I will be pleased.0

At the end of this day I have achieved the following
I went slightly over my Cals
I drank 8 glasses of water
7k steps
So I'm one down
Let's see what tomorrow brings

I want to up my intake of water. I drink loads of mint tea - sometimes home made - just mint leaves and water - does that count?0

Absolutely! Even the Mayo Clinic allows almost ALL fluids to be part of your intake....of course some are much better for you than others. Alcohol is the glaring exception, you lose more water than it replaces. Even caffeinated beverages are OK, though, so coffee or tea are also countable. The best indicator of your hydration is a clear, pale urine. Darker, less frequent urination may indicate the beginning of dehydration. Now if we are only talking weight loss, then water is the hands down winner. But if you are like me, and struggle to slurp down plain tap water (even Evian!) then these new findings take a lot of pressure off. Enjoy your mint tea....sounds yummy.0 -

Sunday is generally my best day at the gym..........I go pretty early and so it's not as crowded. Hoping to get dead lifts and a swim in. The pool gets crowded so I have to get there pretty early to get a lane.

Today I am going shopping for a dress for a wedding. My goal is to not hear the siren call of the food court and Cinnabons. Also, have gotten a good start on my water so want to get to 8 today!0

So to a day I did 8,500 steps

Cals once again a bit over.
Tomorrow is going to be a much better day0 -
Thanks I did. Managed to get everything done I wanted and stayed within calorie goal even though swimming makes me really hungry....

I found an interesting dress. Not quite what I was thinking but it looks well on me and is different. thanks for asking. Water on key, over calories I'm afraid. tomorrow is another day.0
