Wow this thread really fell to the Wayside. Tell me some of your little victories!!!
So I think I've gotten as small as I can possibly get. Today I've realized I've gone from a men's 4XL to a size Small. My pants have gone from a size 48 to a 32.

Went on holiday to the Blue Mountains and fell in love with a Vintage little black dress..... 12 months a go it would have been a fantasy to walk into one of those shops ( you know, with the snobby sales person, no plus size clothes in sight) and pull a dress off the rack and fit into it perfectly .... but it happened.... and now it's mine!!!!!10

I hit 66.3 lbs total loss, bought size 10 jeans (I can't remember the last time I bought that size - last time I lost weight before getting pregnant I had bought 12s), wore a shorts sleeve t-shirt out last night which I never do unless the sleeves go down to my elbows, and started being part of family pictures (I always was behind the camera). Yesterday I got into the "overweight" BMI range, and less than a year ago I was considered morbidly obese...feeling AWESOME!!!7

First time on a bike this year knocked out a 17 mile ride and was able to keep pretty close to my super fit step dad.9

Went from a 14 to a 10 in about six weeks. My weight-loss has pretty much stopped, but I'm lifting heavier now and hitting the weights more often again, so I expect to gain. I'm alright with that as long as the clothes continue to get bigger. *smile*8

I finally consolidated all my running data from my different devices and I'm just shy of 800 miles for the year so far! I also realized that I already have more that 500 miles on my "new" shoes...so I ordered a new pair!7
-
Awesome! Nothing like a fresh pair.

Had to pull my belt in to the next hole which I haven't used in nearly four years. I've also been "sugar free" since my pre-op liquid diet. No soda or other sweets except the 1 gram or so in my protein bars & drinks. I don't miss it and never plan to go back to ingesting it.9

I set a new personal best 7 day distance...70 miles!
I might have also run my fastest 10 miles but my iPod conspired against me and lost my data.5 -

Fantastic!
I HATE when that happens. Had to install a phone lock so that it would stop unlocking in my pocket1 -

I'm so annoyed because I just bought it and it seems to be doing that same thing my old one was. I know that I was more than a minute faster than my usual 10k time when it crapped out. I'll just have to run fast again on Saturday.2 -
I've only lost about five pounds since the beginning of August...
HOWEVER...In the beginning of August, I was FILLING my size 14s, still fitting in some 16s. YESTERDAY...I went to Old Navy and FIT into a SIZE 8!!!! NEVER have I worn a size 8! I was in a 14 when I was 14! (I didn't buy them because I didn't like the style, but they FIT!)7 -
OT: Clothes are so weird. I think a lot of it is body composition (excess skin). I have to try everything on, because the differences in shirt brands/styles are never consistent, especially in these lower sizes. Never had much of an issue previously, because I literally didn't give a *kitten* how I looked.3
-
@anbrdr NO KIDDING! It's part of the reason I love Goodwill so much! I can go in there and grab 20 different brands in the same size and see what fits. I've figured out which brands run a little bigger, which not so much...I KNOW in some brands, I'm still in a 12, and I'm ok with that, because I won't buy them! lmao!4

I just bought a pair of cords at a used clothing store tonight. Size 18, considering I the biggest size I ever wore was a 32W!! I try on clothes and can't believe I am that size.5

AWESOME! Same here, 32 was my biggest size. There are still days I take my clothes out of the dryer and have to put the pants on right away to be sure they fit! (Even though I live alone and only have my own laundry) THE MIND GAMES ARE UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

Today I have on a slim legged pair of size 14 black dress pants. I don't ever remember wearing a 14! I think I skipped those sizes in 7th grade and went straight to plus size wear. I'm sure a lot of overweight people can tell you what they weighed each year in school. I can, because we were weighed in front of the class til the 7th grade; back when obesity wasn't an epidemic like it is today, so fat kids stuck out like sore thumbs. The last time I weighed 188 lbs, I was 12 years old. It still don't seem possible. I officially weigh less than both my grown sons and all my big and tall brothers. I'm no longer the biggest person in the room and I no longer feel like I am the focus of ugly, snide comments as I walk by. My confidence is growing by leaps and bounds! I had a guy that stood in line with me at a Racetrac (convenience store) and tell me how much he loved a shirt I had on. My 1st reaction was that he was making fun of me. (He was very nice looking). He then proceeded to follow me outside and ask if I was taken. May seem scary to some, but it flattered the hell out of me! He told me I was very beautiful and it's just really nice to hear those things sometime.....8

At my physical now and using a regular blood pressure cuff vs a large4

So I bought this nice, heavy leather belt sometime before surgery. As I've lost weight, I've punched in new holes, and trimmed the end off of it to keep it looking nice. Today I looked at it and realized that there are no more manufacturer made holes on my belt. The ones on there now all came from my leather punch.13

Freakin' awesome!1 -
I need to trim another 2 inches off of the end. I wish I had kept the other trimmed pieces for a pic.1

I am glad Insaved my "skinny clothes" from
when I lost weight years ago...I have thrown out all of my pre-op clothes for the most part, and not only buying new stuff but wearing my old "skinny clothes" some which still had tags - those are now getting too big and I have baggy-*kitten*..lol5 -

I recently went through my dresser and bagged up all of the clothes that I don't currently wear. They will be too big, so might as well make some room for new stuff I have some smaller size jeans (that I saved from a few years ago) that I'm looking forward to wearing!

@Mandy_1982 that is the best feeling, isn't it??!!0

I love/hate how thin my closet is now.
Love that there's so much room that everything other than underwear/socks/lounge shorts are all hanging up. Love that the loss has allowed me the opportunity to try new styles and colors (I look damn good in lavender). Loved having to downsize clothes every few months.
Hate hitting what is probably my lowest size, because now I've got to stay here. Hate spending the money to replace everything; my feet even got narrower. Hate wanting to be more fashionable and putting forth a little effort in my appearance, a baggy black shirt and cargo shorts was thoughtless and easy.7 -

I love this part! I have had SO much fun buying new clothes and shoes. I guess it's not so much a guy thing though, so I get it!
One thing I love - I go to a lot of concerts, and most of the time I could never buy a t-shirt that would fit. Now I can always find my size and I have a pretty good collection of concert t-shirts :-)

Don't get me wrong, it's fun, but now it's harder to find thrift store stuff in my size. Also, I'm cheap (and poor) and clothes are not, lol.2
-
I totally get that too! Dropping 200 lbs and trying to stay properly clothed has not been cheap and I know that you know that struggle!2

For a long time my clothes were partitioned by size, and work/play/dress...I fit into nothing. I had this huge closet full of clothes I couldn't wear. The closet is still partitioned into work/play/dress...and it's full! hahahaha, and so are most of the two dressers I have! I have more clothes than ever, and yeah, thrift store, Marshall's, Ross, TJ Maxx, and Old Navy are my mainstays. And shoes. OMG. I used to wear one pair of sandals all summer and one pair of shoes all fall and winter, with a pair of dress shoes just in case. I have so many shoes! My feet went from a double wide to a medium, and because the width came down I'm fitting into smaller sizes as well! I still hate to shop, but love all my pretties, lol!4
