I hit 45lbs down this morning, and yesterday I was able to easily bend over to paint my toenails without feeling like I was having to work around my midsection the whole time.10

Breezed through that wretched 30 second plank my trainer makes me do at the end of EVERY workout!!

Had to go shopping at a thrift store this weekend to pick up some "new" clothes so I wouldn't fall out of them at work. I was surprised at the size I was able to get into, and some items in that same size felt loose.
On Saturday, I hit the day of C25K where it told me to run 20 minutes straight. I was like, "HUH?" But I nailed it. And then ran some more for good measure.7 -
I just bought a size 12 and they are almost too big.9
-
Just bought 34" waist jeans...never thought I see that again. I was 56" seven months ago.14

I started running recently. Not fast, not far, but I did it. I think the last time I ran I might have been about 9 lol. Seriously though, I never would have imagined this a couple of years ago.9

2 months out and My GERD is gone. I think my sleep apnea has improved since I have fallen asleep without my CPAP and managed to sleep through the whole night. My clothes are starting to look ridiculous on me.8

Had to take some more pants in to get altered. Size 8's in some cases are too big in the waist. My husband lost me in the crowd at an event because he followed the wrong woman. He then found me and laughed and said I was so small he couldn't find me.8

My soccer team is undefeated after 4 games and I've been jumping - like with both feet off the ground! - and diving and generally pushing my body to make saves (I'm the goalie). The other players, who are new to me and very talented, complimented me on my skills. My fitness is not standing in my way and I'm having a blast!5

Today's NSV is I'm wearing jeans (without a muffin top no less) that I've not been able to wear since getting pregnant with my twins who are now 5yo.8
-
I got diet lemonade at Chick-Fil-A today while the kids got milkshakes.10

So motivating to read all these NSV's!
Today I reached the half way point! 74 down...74 to go!9 -
Well - I'm 2 years out and although the NSV's are not as frequent, I still encounter them! My most recent? Fitting into the summer clothes I had last year! Usually every year I had to buy new clothes because (a) I either wore them out, or (b) I gained more weight.
I was nervous this summer that perhaps I had "filled out" some since last summer (even though my weight has been steady), and my clothes from last summer fit great, and some are even a little big! YAY!8 -
I can cross my legs!! This was big on my list of things I wanted to be able to do just happened this week too!! YAY!6
-
I climbed to the top of Mt. Bonnell (huge hiking staircase place) while carrying a 35 lb toddler on my back. And it was still way, way easier than before surgery.4

I was helping our office manager carry some boxes to the office, my hands were full, my pants came down. Should this be classified as a NSV???13

Thanks! It was This was on my short list of reasons why I wanted the surgery too - some people may think silly - but when you have never in your life been able to do it because you have turkey legs LOL it's an amazing feeling!1 -
@tlogesi, that's hilarious. The same thing happened to me with a pair of shorts but thankfully, it was in my house. Not wearing those anymore. Definitely a NSV!4
-
This was my first NSV. I posted it one month ago before I knew what an NSV was. LOL..
"It's a great feeling when you try to buckle your belt and you discover that you need to make some new holes to make it fit smaller!! Haven't had to do that in many years. I always had to adjust it bigger, never smaller. Great feeling."4 -
I put on, and then ZIPPED a size medium jacket that was on clearance today. Unreal to me, I was a size 18-20 preop, 3 short months ago. It was snug, but will be great by the time it is cool enough to wear it.6

Benn chasing mile #2 (15 minute time limit) for a few weeks now. Finally caught it, and went on for another half mile in my 18 minute pre-lifting session. This is on the elliptical, I have not started running yet.3

Stopped by TSA agent cause I didn't look like my drivers licience anymore, he said congrats but get a new licience lol7
-
I taught 4 Zumba classes in one day! Before getting sleeved, there would have been no way!4
-
We had cookies and punch night at Vacation Bible School and all I had was a glass of water. No fresh baked chocolate chip cookies made by our church chef who makes really good food.3

That's awesome that you have maintained. Good going.2 -
I made it to the "normal" range on the BMI chart today. It's a good feeling but since I just made it, it's motivation to keep going to my goal.6
-
My shoes are too big! Also, was recently in the hospital and I fit into a normal sized hospital gown - didn't need two worn front and backwards to cover me up. That was a big deal to me!5
-
Way to go, @Trayjay33! That's awesome. I'm just striving for the day when I'm no longer obese.0
