I went on a post-dinner walk with my 8-yr-old son. We went 1.13 miles. We could have gone further, but... bedtime.
I joined a "steps" challenge at work, so I'm feeling extra inspired. I'm not going to count all of my steps/mileage, as that's now how I want to do this, but when I do get extra steps for the express purpose of exercise/getting steps, I'm going to count those. I think I'll go for a run tomorrow for the first time in quite a long time. We'll see if I still feel up to it when tomorrow actually arrives. My inspiration is a bit fleeting these days.

Okay...so my Kindergarten student walks up to me today with his head down and says"Ms Pants, I want you to know that I am not going to talk much today. And I say, "Arw you sick Ben?" and he says, "No, didn't brush my teeth this morning". And I say, " Oh I see, stinky breath." And he still has his head down and mumbles, "Yep".
Sept. 16: 14 miles of which 3 miles were running with my kids, 7 miles cycling and 4 miles walking.

Because I really needed it, I took 2 rest days after Vuelta. So first ride back today. Planned on a nice spin of the legs.....well I did not count on 15-20 knot cross and head winds. Never did pick up a tail wind, just bashed my way through. It went from blue sky's to storm in less than hour. Getting blown all over the road is no fun. Oh well, the life of a cyclist. Still it felt good to get going again.
