4 mile walk/run. 3.1 of those in my subdivision's 5K. A new PR of 30:07 and 2nd place in the female 50-59 group. I thought I started out too fast, I saw 6.75 mph at one point and tried to slow it up. I somehow was almost always a bit over 6 mph when I looked, which I usually can't maintain. I hit the 3 miles around 29:15 and tried to go for under 30 but I'm good with this. I was hoping for under 32.

Way to go on the new PR.

We had Bean for a puppy sleep-over so I walked w/DH and Bean before the sun came up then took Bean home and walked w/DDD. It got up to 100 degrees today. It was a beautiful morning though.

    Sun - 7.40 miles

Well today marks 3 years on MFP. It has been a great experience for me and I have many new friends on my journey. I am 8 lbs under my goal weight (considering how much cycling I do), my health is better than it has been in over 35 years, my blood pressure is the lowest it's been since I was 18. So thank you to all my MFP friends for keeping me motivated!

Nice sunny but swirling winds. I just love those. Still able to maintain no less than an hour saddle time. My back and neck strength is getting better. My Chiropractor has been working OT pounding me back into shape.

    09/15 - 02.0 miles walking
    09/16 - 11.0 miles cycling
    09/17 - 02.0 miles walking
    09/18 - 12.0 miles cycling
    09/19 - 16.0 miles cycling
    09/20 - 12.0 miles cycling

    Total: 215.0 miles

I've really got to step it up if I'm going to make my goal this month! Only 25 of my 55 miles so far.

I'm in NYC for two nights. I'm a transplanted NYer so it's good to go back and soak up the energy. And eat lots of pizza and bagels. Anyway, I didn't specifically exercise, but my Fitbit has me at 11 miles. It usually gives me under what I walk with Runkeeper so it's probably more like 13. I did spend a few hours in Central Park, as well as lots of walking elsewhere, so I'm going to log 7 of those. I think it's fair. My ticker won't work on my iPad, so that's 78.3. Hope all the walking helps with the egg sandwich, pizza, hamburger and frozen custard I ate today. Tomorrow I'm going to Ellis Island to tour the old buildings.

This is WONDERFUL! I remember last year when running your first 5K was intimidating to you, and you weren't sure if you would finish. And look at you now, running faster than a 10 min mile for a full 5k!! What great progress you've made!!

1.25 miles added tonight, walking with the family around the neighborhood. I'm really enjoying this new routine of an evening walk.

We might do a 5k together next weekend (with the littlest in the stroller for part of the way). I'm trying to decide if that will be a good/fun experience, or just torture...

I really miss checking in every day when life gets busy around here. :( I'm happy to see many of us are doing so well. I hope some of that rubs off on me too. :D

Added 9.25 miles September total 75.25 miles. Yikes! gotta make up some miles.
