Sorry guys, I got busy at work again and didn't realize I've missed updating for a week. I have been moving though, I've added 17.25 miles, which includes 7.5 miles today. I was finally able to get to the nature center and take a nice long walk. I didn't know how out of shape I am for the hills though, that was more of a challenge than I expected.
March total 53.25 miles
@clepant I hope your dad is doing better. That was always the challenge with my dad, one medical problem that sent him to the hospital always led to a couple of more issues before we could get him back on his feet. It's tricky getting all the medications worked out just right.

Hey, that's green again. More than one day this month too. And I'm in striking distance of my goal already. March is working out better for me.0

March 24: In-service day today. Temps in low 70's. My department chair started our day on heart monitors and we did a mini triathlon using rowers, bikes, ellipticals and treadmills. Then on to strength workout circuit of pull ups, push ups, squats and sit ups for another 25 minutes. Off for a short run at lunch. A visit to see my dad and work in my building all afternoon.
Got a 10 mile ride in on the bike, 3 mile circuit training, 3 mile walk with the pups and 2 mile run at lunch time.
18 miles today of circuit, biking, running and walking.
TTD: 270.95

WOOHOO!! That's GOAL for @CPANUS and @K80FLEC!!! :drinker:
@TAXMOM9093 - Yup, you're GREEN again and doing great this month despite being such a ridiculously crazy time of year for you!!
@KAR328 - Look at you...7 miles!! You'll be just fine next month for your 4-miler event!
@LOVEMYALEX - I haven't told you lately just how utterly impressed I am with how dedicated you are and all the miles you put in every day! How's your knee doing? No problems I hope?
@CLEPANT - And you too!! You are so active in so many different activities and helping all your students find a love of activity too.
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and a Happy Easter to those that celebrate it!

@clepant Hope your dad is continuing to improve. Nice inservice. Mine make me want to stab a sharp object through my eyes.
@k80flec I have the Fitbit Charge HR - it's over a year now. I used to have the Flex. This one is supposed to automatically log certain activities as workouts, like walking more than ten minutes. It's kind of hit and miss. I use the timer when I do a real workout and get a reading that way.
@Dave - I signed up for the 4 miler today. My trainer signed up finally - I didn't want to be there on my own. My brother may do the ten miler they also do at the same time (well, the 4 milers go first). Now I'm going WTF was I thinking?
6.8 miles in two walks today. I went to the site of next month's 5K in a local park and checked out the route. Not too hilly, there's one section about 2/10 of a mile that's steep, but it's early on in the first mile so I'm just going to try and hit it hard. Walked that route, then did a few miles in my neighborhood. And some lifting. Now I"m trying to catch up with what's on my DVR.

Adding 16 miles for 45 out of 200.
Adding another 13 miles for 58 out of 200.
Adding 22 miles for 80 out of 200. I need to go to CE next week so I need to get miles in this week.
Adding another 4 miles for 84 out of 200. Now off to CE.
Well, a week at the conference and four days with the flu and I'm finally getting back on the bike. 6 miles walking at the conference and 11 miles today and I'm up to 101 miles out of 200. I have to remember not to push it too fast or I'll wear out and be back nursing the flu again.
Adding another 10 miles for 111 out of 200.
Adding 14 miles for 125 out of 200. This flu is killing me! I get to feeling better and without warning it comes charging back. I'm not sure if it's the same one or my immune system is weak now and I'm picking up other versions. Thank goodness for a wonderful wife and great techs at my clinic. You can't put a price a great techs and I certainly don't deserve the wife I have. Don't tell her though.
Adding 23 miles from a rather blustery day. It was still nice to be outside. That makes 148 out of 200.
Adding 10 miles for 158 out of 200.
Adding 16 miles for 174 out of 200. Back indoors with a mix of rain and snow falling at 36 degrees.0 -

@Dave: Thanks! I love being physically active. I just can't imagine a life without it.
@Karen: You make me laugh. I feel the same way at some of my in-service sessions.
My dad is doing better at PT but the big question is his kidney function, the cause for the blood clot while on Warfarin and the could it be the big C word. I told my dad to put in God's hands and let him take care of it.
March 25: 16.5 miles of cycling 11 miles and walking 5.5 miles. I have a 11 to 12 mile training run tomorrow.
