    That sounds like the trip from hell Katie! Omg I'm so glad I'm don't traveling for work, because I absolutely agree with you the worse thing to do is to travel for work only to end up doing absolutely nothing remotely in your job description! It sucks being non-pregnant and that happens, I can't imagine having the tolerance for that and being pregnant.

    Lol I think I'm already like @puffbrat and I'm in the I don't give a you know what phase. I just don't have the patience to listen to people complain and whine these days. So Katie I think you handled yourself well!

    How is everyone's weekend going?

    So far Saturday I spent most the day with a headache and so I took things pretty easy. I did get my walking in but otherwise I was a bump on my chair. haha Tomorrow I'll be visiting my parents. What is everyone else up to?

    Hope you feel better @WifiresGettingFit . I was pretty much a lazy bum all weekend. I'm gonna try and get to the gym tomorrow hopefully.

    Hubby has taken the whole week off
    *edit to retype damnit MFP cut me off. Gotta stop using emojis.
    Went out for his birthday last night and stayed on plan, and felt energetic and good after dinner rather than bloated and sleepy. I call that a win!

    @pezhed & @jennamae102 Thank you both! =)

    It was a surprise! Here's the story: He walked in from work and I noticed he had a brown box in his hand (I was in the livingroom at this point) and I didn't think anything of it because I just figured he ordered something so I said "Whatcha got there?" and he also had some mail in his hand and he just said "Stuff" haha so I got up to go to him to greet him properly and he hands me the box and he says it's a lot and he kept saying that as I was opening it and I'm like thinking it's something for me that has a lot of pieces that I have to put together like a 1000 piece puzzle or something and then I finally get to the ring box and that's when he asked me to be his forever and I got teary eyed and said yes. The thing is and it's kinda the interesting part was this was all a surprise for him too because he ordered the ring the day before and he wasn't supposed to get it until sometime this week (instead of last - this happened on Tuesday but I wasn't able to tell my parents until yesterday because I wanted to do it in person so that's why I'm just announcing now haha) so because he got the ring earlier than he had expected all his plans went out the window so it was all kinda spur of the moment because he can't keep things a secret especially when it deals with surprises for me. haha

    Aww that is such a sweet story. Totally understand about not being able to hold off any longer once he got the ring earlier than expected! It's hard to keep secrets. So excited for you! Happy planning! Have you talked about a date yet? I know it's nice to just enjoy being engaged but my husband and I had figured out a general date within a couple of days just because it's fun to talk about.

    @Kirstie155 Thank you! =)

    @pezhed It's looking to either be a summer/fall wedding but we are both leaning more towards the summer. Our anniversary is in August but the actual date coincides with a big event that he and his friends go to so it's a no go for that unfortunately so it's probably going to be sometime in July or early September.

    @WifiresGettingFit OMG YAY!!! I'm so happy for you!!!! Your fiance (oh la la) sounds so cute that he can't keep a secret from you :) That engagement story is great :smiley:
    Summer weddings are so nice :) Are you guys thinking this year or next?

    Hi everyone! I'm so sorry I keep disappearing! Work has gotten seriously busy (which is usually when I'm here ;) ). I still feel like crap most of the time and I'm so exhausted all the time that it feels like all I do is work and sleep with frequent snacking mixed in.

    I plan to catch up on all your posts this week and I hope everyone is doing well :)

    @puffbrat Glad to hear from you Jessica! That sucks that you're still feeling like crap and exhausted. How far along are you now? I hope it gets better soon! =)

    Congrats Kayla!! So excited for you!

    I have been MIA again...unfortunately no good news on the pregnancy front. We went back for our second ultrasound last week, and baby stopped growing and there was no longer a heartbeat. It had been about two weeks since the first ultrasound, but based on the measurements baby stopped growing a few days after that. I had no cramping or bleeding...nothing to indicate anything was wrong. I actually just had my initial blood work done a few days prior, and doc says everything looked fine there...nothing to indicate the pregnancy wasn't progressing as it should.

    I opted to have surgery since my body hadn't yet started miscarrying naturally, I guess the only good thing about that is we'll be able to have the tissue sampled to see if that will give us any insight as to what went wrong. First pregnancy ended super early..a chemical pregnancy technically I think, and now this...so definitely frustrating, especially because there's no explanation. Even though the doc thinks it's just bad luck, she wants to refer me to a specialist to try and see if there's anything going on that's preventable that we should be doing to keep me pregnant.

    So I'm just trying to recover, and then hopefully get back into working out. I've read that you're the most fertile in the 3 months following a miscarriage...we definitely want to try again. I think we're torn with wanting to try again as soon as the doctor says we can dtd again, versus maybe just going on a vacation somewhere to relax and get our minds off the loss and not actively try right away.

    Hope everyone else is doing well!

    @motivatedsister Oh my goodness, I'm so, so sorry to hear about your miscarriage :cry: Let me know if there's anything you need. I'm here for support if you need it! I like the idea of a vacation. Especially it doesn't stop you from changing your mind later, but it still may help you relax.

    I meant to post this the other day but I didn't have a picture on my computer yet. Since I made the announcement in here, thought I'd throw this in here as well.

    @motivatedsister I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Maybe a relaxing vacation with a little sexy time will serve both purposes of relaxing and TTC again.

    @WifiresGettingFit beautiful ring! Did he pick it out on his own or did you do some preliminary shopping together?

    @Kirstie155 Thank you! =) No we haven't. haha Right now we're mostly just basking in the newly engaged glow haha plus we still have some people to announce it to. I don't really know what I want either so I'm sure that'll make planning EXTRA fun. haha

    @motivatedsister So sorry for your loss. Sending lots of happy thoughts your way. I agree with the others that a little vacay and time to relax will probably do you some good. <3

    @WifiresGettingFit I love that your ring is unique! Good luck with planning...we did Vegas and it was the best thing for us because I didn't want a big wedding or to make a ton of decisions!

    Thanks ladies for all your kind words! I think you guys are right, and a vacation is probably in order. Even if we don't try right away I would think we would want to try again in earnest at some point this year, so I don't know if I would want to get on birth control just to get off. And good luck with me trying to get him to go back to using condoms lol. So I think choosing a Zika free place will probably be the best option though, so we don't have to worry about that if I were to get pregnant.

    @WifiresGettingFit that sapphire ring is beautiful...so unique!

    @VeryKatie Thank you! =) It is a sapphire and then there are diamond chips on each side inside the heart cutouts (don't know if you can see it that well in the picture haha) and the band is white gold.

    @jennamae102 Thank you! =) Vegas has been mentioned. haha I'm not sure what route we are going to go yet.

    @motivatedsister Thank you! =) I hope you enjoy your vacation! =)
