Sadly my big sigh of relief fell by the wayside Saturday AM when the OB triage doctor called me with a slightly different interpretation of the blood work. She said Friday's hormone level came back at the absolute minimum they wanted to see. It turns out that can be sign of an ectopic pregnancy. So, they had me go into the clinic yesterday (Sunday) morning to do more blood work and another ultrasound. This time my blood work actually was good with my hcg level doubling in the last 48 hours like it is supposed to. All my other blood work was also good. Unfortunately, the ultrasound was inconclusive, so I need to go back in a week for another. As the doctor put it, we know something is in there and it's growing, we just don't know where it is.

@puffbrat I'm sorry this is happening. I hope your next appointment gives you good news or at least answers. *HUGS*

Thanks @WifiresGettingFit! It has been quite the emotional roller coaster.

On the plus side, hubby and I met my actual OB today just for a general appointment. She was not really concerned by any of the results and believes it is just a very early pregnancy. While she still wants me to do the blood work again tomorrow and ultrasound this coming weekend as directed by the other doctors, she is approaching it from more of a better safe than sorry perspective which is surprisingly comforting.

I'm also sorry to hear that you are unsure about the pregnancy. You are in my thoughts, and I am hoping for the best outcome for you and your little bean! I'd be a wreck, and I'm sure you are too. Try and think happy thoughts though.

I'm feeling under the weather today but otherwise everything is going good. It has been a busy couple of days so I'm also extremely tired. On the bright side, I got a Fitbit Flex 2 today as an early Christmas gift from Andrew since it was on sale and we couldn't pass it up. $30 dollars off. Andrew wanted one too so I got him one for an early Christmas gift as well.

How's everything with you @VeryKatie? When is your next appointment?

@WifiresGettingFit I'm feeling under the weather too. Woke up with a cold. And stayed up too late so I'm very tired lol. So we seem to feel similar.

Otherwise, things are good. We have Chris' mom's birthday dinner tonight and we haven't bought a present yet but I put that on him lol. We're going to buy her something right before the dinner. I am going to try to get some deals on some books for his sister for Christmas also.

My next appointment is on Dec. 19. I might end up having an ultrasound before then but I have to wait to get notice of it in the mail.

@VeryKatie thank you! ☺ I'm still not a 100% yet. How are you feeling today? I can understand not wanting to miss work. I'm sure the time will go fast. I swear I blink and another month has gone by. I hope you're feeling better! ☺

I hope you both are feeling better!

@Kirstie155 I'm glad you're excited for your vacation! I'm sure it will be tons of fun!

Morning sickness found me this weekend, so now I'm learning how to manage it. Hubby has been really sweet, taking great care of me. My next ultrasound is Wednesday. Hopefully they see the little bugger and it's where it belongs!

Thanks @WifiresGettingFit. I will sure to post an update. For now, my blood work last Tuesday was in the normal range, which was a huge relief. It was also nice not to have to go into OB Triage yesterday.

Glad to hear everyone is doing well!

@puffbrat seeing as you're only about 2 weeks, it's probably just too early to see anything on ultrasound. So I wouldn't worry! My ob/gyn wouldn't even see me until I was at least 8 weeks for that very reason, assuming no complications. But since I've miscarried, in the future she said we'll probably do blood work to check HCG levels whenever I'm pregnant again.

Is it weird that I feel like I want to get ripped while I'm on maternity leave? LOL! I don't know what's making me think of this today.

Is everyone excited for December? Are people making Christmas strategies at all?

@VeryKatie No, not weird at all.
Not really excited for December. I feel like I wasted a whole year. haha As for Christmas, I'll be waiting last minute as usual to do all my shopping and I plan to just enjoy the time with my family. What about you?

@WifiresGettingFit Hahah why waiting last minute? I'm done my shopping already hahahah. I'm looking forward to Christmas, but I know It's going to make me very tired.

@VeryKatie It's tradition I guess. haha Besides no one seems to know what they want this year and honestly I hate gift buying. I like giving but I hate gift buying if that makes sense. It stresses me out and I never know what to get people and the whole it's the thought that matters thing provides me no comfort. I am looking forward to time with my family though just not the rest. Holiday season is exhausting and I imagine it'll be even more so for you since you're growing a life! =D Are you showing yet?

    @Kirstie155 Have a good vacation!

@WifiresGettingFit Ah see the gift buying stress is exactly why I do it all super early and online. I only went to one store this year and that was for Chris' brother who asked for a gift card. So at least that was easy. Everything else? Amazon, baby! Haha. And Things are basically bought and wrapped. I just have to wait for a few to arrive in the mail now.

I'm not showing yet I don't think. It's really hard to tell though. I've always had a "D" belly, even when I was a little kid (and thin - it's just how I'm structured). So I expect I'll have to be pretty pregnant before I can tell that it's more than just not being able to suck in my D belly any more. I basically suck in 16 hours a day 7 days a week lol.

I was looking up "How do you know when you've popped" online. And the photos that some girls are posting saying "Ohhh I popped!" are just like what I always look like. I would probably have to be underweight before I actually had a flat stomach.
