I finally figure out why my work schedule is making this difficult. (I'm a little clueless sometimes )
Other times of the year overtime means I go to work and stayed a really long time. My teaching schedule is a little more erratic. I might work 3 hours in the morning, off for an hour or two, work another 2-4 hours, another break and finish out the night with a 3-4 hour shift. And that does not include the occasional travel to another office. Other days aren't as busy at work but I need those times to recover.
I really do need to move more, but I also need to give myself a break when it doesn't work out. Getting angry at myself or the situation is not doing much for my mental health.
So, let's try for 90 miles in November. It's more than I managed in October and still more reasonable than the 100+ miles I really want to put down.
Thank you everyone who keeps this challenge running. And thank you for putting up with my disappearing act in October, I will try to be more consistent in November.

Well my legs still feel lousy so I am not sure if it is a go for Sunday. Sadly, I did three weekends of 9 plus mile runs and each one got progressively worse. Think someone is trying to tell me something. But it is better to stay healthy and run another day than to do some permanent damage and never run again.
Nov. 2: 12.5 miles today. Hiking, running, and walking.
