Silver...here is a site that gives you better info than I can...I actually do have this lady's book. I bought it when I got my vitamix in 2010...I bought the vitamix specially for that purpose, green smoothies.

    http://www.rawblend.com.au/green-smoothies.html

Even though it looks to be an ad for vitamix...the info is good. Enjoy.

    Today:

Br: V8, All-Bran Bran Buds, banana, skim milk
Lu: cherries, spinach salad with hummus and clementine and hardboiled egg, 2 ak mak crackers
    Sn: pear/skim mozzarella stick, clementine/yogurt
    Di: not sure yet

I've been kind of coasting here, enjoying the summer fruit bounty and trying to stay cool in the Georgia heat and humidity. Daisy, however, gets me outside--45-minute to an hour walk in the early, cool morning, a quickie midday, and then half an hour in the evening. I've started getting a bit sloppy in my eating--more snacks--but I've been able to maintain the weight loss so far. I would like to lose maybe another 3-5 lbs., but so far I've not been motivated.

Morning...last week got the results for my blood work and PET SCAN (bone cancer survivor)...got the all clear...of course that meant buying something special...I ended up with a new JUICER. Only juicing on the weekend and then just Saturday's...it is a bit of work. Made a double batch of Joe's Mean Green Juice...Joe Cross from the movie Sick, Fat and Nearly Dead.

I have juiced before (prior to being dx with cancer, I was juicing a lot and riding my lifecycle 60 mins a day and I weighed 122 lbs. I need to lose 22 pounds to get back to that)...I do like how it makes me feel...that is the real goal...to feel good.) This is all just chit chat...not telling anyone what to do. The movie (on netflix) however is really good. There is a part two and one he made for kids.

I met him in Desert Ridge AZ in May of 2015 at a book signing...he was there to give us a talk in the bookstore. Great guy...his story is remarkable.

    Today's Plan

Food...think it will be Ezekiel quesadilla with corn salsa
    Green Smoothie
Grilled burger with LTO no bread
    Green Juice (made fresh yesterday)
    Veggies and Bolthouse
    Ziti with grilled eggplant
    yogurt

    HAGDE.

Back to work tomorrow...oh yes, I made it to our gym yesterday...first time in forever. I was able to walk on TM for about 30 minutes. Man, have I ever slowed down...I do have to watch my knees and feet...cartilage is missing from both. But walked 2.5 mph.

Yesterday's total miles for the day on my fitbit 4.44.

Ok, now, later mates B)B) ...have fun today.

    Hi, guys,

Yesterday was awesome (not with respect to food, though). We went to Dillard, GA to see the eclipse in its totality. Words are not adequate to describe the sensation. When the moon fully eclipsed the sun, the earth went dark, and it was eerie. The corona was lovely. All in all, worth the 6-hour ride home (normally, the distance is covered in an hour-and-a-half, but the traffic on the 2-lane road was quite heavy). As for food, I just ate a lot of Southern food and determined to revert back to normal today.

    So, today:

Br: V8, All-Bran Bran Buds, banana, blueberries, skim milk
Lu: spinach salad with hummus and clementine and hardboiled egg, 2 ak mak crackers
    Sn: pear/skim mozzarella stick, clementine/yogurt
    Di: not sure yet

Well, well, well...I am already not happy without my Dave's Killer bread...
Wednesday, it will have to be peach and cottage cheese for lunch.

I just don't know anymore. For sure I am having a green smoothie. And on the weekend will make green juice...

But I have to rethink giving up Dave's bread. To be continued.
